Not A Hero

A few days ago, Commander Loyd and his army of about 20 men were sent to the Northern Woodley Forest Area to see the 'Gate' that had suddenly appeared. But until now it has not returned.

Mission [A+]: Investigate the place and find out the circumstances of Commander Loyd with his troops. No need for full report, just clarity!

Gifts:

a Great Contribution to the Kingdom

a Gift from the Kingdom

- a new Swordsman Skill!

...---...

Escal looked at the screen in front of him after the system processed the mission he had taken in the BIK earlier.

“Gate.” Escal muttered softly.

Little did he know by the intent of the Gate or the Gate. More or less it's like a Dungeon if it's in a video game. Categorized from S then A and down again until D with plus or minus if the odds are less or close to the next level.

In the habitation of various different Monsters in each Gate, although some have the same type.

The rewards listed are actually very tempting, although in the original mission note do not pin if there is an additional new Swordsman Skill. It's just a system adaptation of the mission Escal took.

“There is no time limit, at least I will raise my level a little because this is A+ Level Mission with unknown terrain.”

Escal put the note paper in a small desk drawer in his room. Then he took back the Caliver he had placed on the table, and brought the dagger he had previously bought.

Just in case, Escal was wearing an empty bag if there was something he wanted to bring back from the forest.

“What is Liliane still cleaning the house? Maybe I'll have him rest for a while, because his body is still a child. It would be troublesome if later he was sick,” Escal thought in his heart.

But when he arrived downstairs, his thoughts about Liliane being exhausted and having trouble cleaning the house were shattered.

Not only was it clean, it even looked like it was shiny and neat.

“Master, where do you want to go?” Liliane suddenly emerged from the kitchen room, and looked still fine without a single drop of sweat.

Escal cleared his throat once, did not expect that it could be done by a child whose age was even less than ten years.

“There's something I want to work on and maybe just come home tonight or tomorrow.” Escal threw a piece of gold coin at Liliane, just as he caught it quickly.

“Buy food with it when I'm not back. Just eat, and keep this house as long as I'm gone. Also.”

Escal walked up to Liliane and handed her a dagger. Liliane took it without hesitation.

“Punched only everyone who logged in here without permission, understand?”

Liliane nodded in understanding, “Understand Master!”

“Good.” Escal walked towards the exit and opened it, then left.

This was the reason he bought a house close to the Forest, to level up and hunt. The mission he took was also quite close because it was located in the Eastern part of the Forest.

“My man added 750 Points, pretty good. Let's find the first suitable prey for me to kill.”

Escal began to sharpen his senses to look for Monsters or Beast Vast that he could make as a foothold to level up, just like the Silver Horned Wolf last time.

......................

"Dash!"

"Graagh!"

Escal gave the final attack to Rock Sword Tiger by using his Strong Slash Skill which had increased to level four.

'Prank!'

Escal's sword blade that was none other than Caliver suddenly shattered into pieces after successfully dropping Rock Sword Tiger.

“Cih, I need a stronger sword.” Escal threw a sword hilt that already had no blade.

After the fight until this afternoon, the Durability of Caliver was exhausted because the Monster Escal fought was getting stronger and unable to keep up with the Skill used on the Sword.

Although it was only a Basic Technique, but the power of his slashes exceeded the average in general. Even the famous Rock Sword Tiger had a hard skin like a rock he could slash to pieces, with just a Strong Slash Skill.

“At least the Taring Teeth of this Beast can be made into a new weapon.” Escal inserted the Rock Sword Tiger into his System Storage.

And since Escal is already a Human Level Seven, there are some System features that are updated including Storage which now has 20 Slots.

The Seventeen Slots he had already used to store some of the Items he would bring back. While small items such as plants and items were easy to carry, he put them in the Bag he was wearing.

Staring at the almost dark sky, Escal decided to return. It was not only because of the Beast and Monster that would be more aggressive at night, but now he already had no weapons anymore.

Escal did not want to meet with the more powerful Monsters and Beast for now, as facing the Rock Sword Tiger alone he had enough trouble.

Immediately Escal uses the increased Speed Up to move quickly back home.

"Clack! Cklak!"

The door in the lock from the inside, Escal then knocked on it several times.

“Who?” Sound from within. Escal answered her directly, “This is me.”

“Master, you're back!”

Liliane opened the door for Escal, with a cheerful face welcoming her homecoming.

“Welcome back, Mister!” Welcoming Liliane with a smile, Escal was stunned for a moment.

Thin smile etched on her lips, “Yes, I came home.”

Escal spoke with a slightly softened expression and tone. For a long time he did not get a warm welcome when he came home, because before he was alone.

Getting a warm welcome even from a child like that, still makes his heart warm a little.
