Eps. 29 - Growth Scroll
Thinking about it for a moment, Escal then made a decision. He would give a Growth Scroll to Liliane, as he was the only person who currently had a 'good' relationship with her.
In other respects, he also tested Growth Scroll because he had never worn it and would have more consideration when he got it next time.
Carrying a scroll that was a Growth Scroll in his right hand, Escal walked out of the room and down the stairs.
Liliane was in the kitchen and was about to prepare lunch because it was almost time. Today she's putting out rehearsals for him and Liliane because of last night.
“Liliane.”
Escal called out quietly, of course Liliane heard him and immediately stopped from peeling off some of the spices she would use for cooking.
“Ya Sir, is there something?”
“How much is your current Level?”
Escal asked without further ado, as he did not have the Appraisal Skill to see the Status of others. The only way is, the person himself told him.
“Four Master, even thanks to you who taught me and gave me some resources.” Liliane answered honestly.
Escal frowned, for some reason he was a little dissatisfied. He thought at least Liliane was at Level Five, or so after her training and sometimes hunted Monsters only a few times.
In fact, Level Four at the age of Liliane who was so small could be included into the unusual category.
Escal had yet to realize it, he had no idea if someone who possessed the System and was summoned from the Otherworld would have a little more speed to raise Levels.

Although he could force it, he somehow felt he did not have to give Growth Scroll if Liliane did not want to. At least, it could be another advantage.
Liliane looked towards Escal and blinked a few times, “What would that make me even more useful to you, Mr?”
The question was completely unexpected, but of course Liliane would become even more useful to Escal as he got stronger.

“Good,” Escal stroked Liliane's head briefly which made the little girl happy.
“Then, change your clothes with the least worthy and then come back here.”
Hearing her orders, Liliane looked puzzled for a moment but continued to do as she said.
Liliane returned in her first clothes when she met Escal. Not knowing why, he still kept the clothes.
The reason Escal had Liliane change her clothes was, the explanation of the Growth Scroll which he thought was not very detailed even though in fact the explanation was already quite detailed for others.
Truly a cautious person, he even thought about the possible change in clothes.
“Already Mr.” Liliane said as she arrived in front of Escal.
“Good, accept and open this then imagine if you are up Level.”
Liliane opened the Growth Scroll slowly, and performed as Escal spoke while closing her eyes.

Escal also could not hide his interest, until he could only stay still while observing.
Ancient letters became more and more plentiful and began to coat Liliane, before absorbing into Liliane's body and an explosion with a small shock wave suddenly occurred.
Escal did not dodge because it was not a threat, it was just that the smoke billowing slightly disturbed his gaze and some furniture became messy.
Escal then looked at Liliane with a shock in the puff of smoke surrounding her.
Inside the puff of smoke, Liliane's body was no longer as small as her previous daughter's. Instead of being a woman who looks tough with a tall stature.
His long hair fluttered, his eyes closed before a moment later opening his eyes slowly.

Escal immediately drew the conclusion, he did not bother about the development of Liliane's body that became more and more mature. Not like the little girl before.

“Ah, I think I'm thinking too far.” Escal shook his head lightly, then went back upstairs.
The problems for now have been quite eased, and One Week was again passed by normal circumstances.
In that time, Escal did not experience a level increase but got more experience because Loyd who returned to teach him because he did not have another job.
Unexpectedly, Frank also visited to apologize in person for his rude behavior some time ago and because of that, Escal began to respect him.
Liliane's development was also quite good, and registered her as a Raider although most of the missions she took were also done by Liliane.
That way, Liliane had become a Level 8 Human and was in development.
