Chapter 61 Versus

"Hello,” greet Jun as Juna opens the door.

“Om!” Juna surprise. He's gaped in the doorway. Her prospective in-laws are in front of her with Yuna's future in-laws aka Justin.

Jun and Justin are standing at her grandmother's doorstep. They fly to Australia after hearing that Yungi accepted her mother's request, engaged to a woman named Jessica. He is the son of his parents' colleagues and is also known to have a good personality. With her beautiful face, elegant style and rich ancestry, no man should reject a woman like her. Plus, she doesn't reject Yungi even though Yungi has been married twice. 

They have met and dated several times. All children are very worried because they do not want to have a new mother. They just want Mina to be their mother. Mina also knew about it. He has also spoken to the children to be willing to accept his father's decision and be kind to their new mother-to-be. 

Even so, Mina herself is not ready and actually does not want to let go of Yungi. He was really struck when he heard the news. However, he no longer vented his sadness and disappointment on alcoholic beverages considering that previous events had made them separate. He prefers to yoga and meditate and distracts himself on many things. 

He also began to evaluate himself. First, he realized that there was no lasting happiness. He used to be so happy with Yungi. Years of being married, they almost never had any serious problems and anyone who wished there was, but it turned out that just because of a trivial mistake, everything was destroyed. 

At the same time he also realized that he should be grateful that he had those times and was with the people he loved. So, he had no regrets even though he had to go back alone in the end.

Second, Mina thinks back to what she did before Yungi came into her life and after some time she does that, she finds the answer. Those two things are his kids and his career. That is, when he finished with Yungi, wouldn't it be better if he immersed himself in two things that had been part of his life before? Yungi is an additional element that previously he himself was not even sure that Yungi and him used to age together. 

Mina smiled bitterly. He shouldn't have to be that sad. It is true that he lost loved ones and even loved ones can switch. It means he should start thinking about himself. It was time for him to get back up and move on with his life. No one will love himself but himself and no one will know himself as well as the man himself. 

His parents would be sad to see him like this. She may not be a good wife, but she still has a choice, to be a good mother to her children, to be a child that doesn't make her parents sad, to be the boss for his employees who always need a helping hand and become a reliable friend for his friends, including for Yungi, who incidentally is his friend as well. 

That's so! Little by little Mina rebuilt herself. She contacted all her children via video call and explained her wishes. Of course, her children were happy and supported her mother's wishes. However, behind that, the two eldest children directly contacted Jun, Justin, and Jay and explained the situation. They do not want that to happen, especially they have made plans to make Yungi and Mina refer. It's even off the mark and far away. One receives the engagement and the other will soon move on with his life. 

Actually between the two people, Yungi is easiest to shake even when he has made a decision. So, they can be said to be still calm when they hear that Yungi will receive the engagement because if his friends can diligently ‘inject’ it with reasons or theories, because, and usually he will change his mind quickly. That was exactly when he abandoned Soraya. Despite her pent-up feelings for Mina, she quickly tells “yes” to marry Mina. 

However, this was different from Mina. Once he closed his heart, it would be difficult for anyone to open it again. Look at how her parents asked her to behave like Sesil from childhood! He did not comply because he had already made up his mind and no matter how hard his mother asked him to obey, he never opposed it but also never did. 

Therefore, Jun and Justin were quite worried about this. Their arrival to Australia is to deliberately influence Yungi to forgive Mina and Jay and Yungi back to Mina. Instead of accepting, Yugi instead says that he will stick to his decision and he will come to a gathering in Hawaii with Jessica as if he wants to show that he has really switched and continued his life. 

Jun and Justin stared at each other. It seems like they have no way to convince Yungi anymore and they can only apologize to the children of Mina and Yungi who depend on them for their mother and father to refer back. Both went home without success.

Time keeps going. Their plan to meet in Hawaii finally happened as well. They all gathered together including Jessica and the children of Yungi and Mina. With Yuna and Juna, Jesicca had met several times, but with Zen, and the Twins were the first time. 

Tense is a word that Mina and Yungi's friends think of when they imagine the situation of Mina and Yungi who will meet again after a long time they are divorced. Initially, Jun and the others thought that there might be a commotion or argument between Mina and Yungi or Yungi and Jay that made the situation even more uncomfortable, but it turned out that it wasn't as bad as imagined. 

Mina came last to the restaurant. Mina is still an elegant, friendly and relaxed Mina, who is also considerate and always cares for people. A woman who is rarely found because of her habit of always thinking in detail and bringing up something that is not even thought by others but is true. Even so, at the same time he showed also a mysterious aura because indeed he had never spoken anything about a matter that he considered very personal and not for the consumption of even the closest person. 

Something is different from how it looks now. It seems that along with his maturity he is not too comfortable to lengthen his hair. Actually because of her small size and smart self-preservation, Mina did not look at all have a child whose age was already in college. At first glance, most people think that he is still in his 20s and the spy who sees is never tired to shine awe because of his sweet smile. 

“If you see his eyes, you will definitely instantly fall in love.” That's what Yungi once commented about Mina when her American college friends used to ask about her circle friends first.  

“Halo,” greet Mina to Jessica after she greets all her friends except Yungi and Jessica. 

“I Mina, friend and ex-wife of Yungi,” Mina said with a friendly smile and gave her one hand to shake hands. 

Jessica was somewhat surprised as she looked at Mina from head to toe. She actually thought that Mina was not as beautiful and graceful as that because she measured Mina's face by looking at Yuna and Juna's faces which were certainly more similar to Erika than Mina's. 

“Oh, Jessica,” he said as he welcomed his hand. However, in contrast to the friendly and calm Mina, Jessica's face looked disappointed and even expressed resentment as if she had felt defeated by someone. 

Mina smiled as she nodded her head. 

“How are you, Yun?” Mina turns to Yungi who is joking with their children. He smiled as he also thrust his hand to shake his hand.

“Good,” Yungi said as he received his hand and quickly released it again. The expression on his face was rather cold and seemed to hold back the anger. 

“Thank God you are good,” Mina replied with a smile. 

He knew that expression, but he no longer cared. Mina admits that deep in her heart, she is so happy to see Yungi. He still loves that man. However, he must also know himself, Yungi is no longer his own and until whenever he wishes to the man, the person he hopes will never see him again. 

“Halo, Mom!” yuna and Juna said while directly hugging her mother without waiting for her mother to answer her greeting.

“Hey, hello, alas Mother.” 

Mina replied in a soft voice and actually held back happy cries while hugging them. The moment looks very moving because they have not seen each other in person for a long time. Mina kissed the head and almost all parts of the children's face in turns, not hesitating to express her longing for her two children. 

They sat together at a table. The same is done by their children who are also gathered at their tables. Mina has not sat down. He was still with the kids, watching them until their order was done coming. Jini helps her and Vee and Jessica make sure about the kids' order in the kitchen. Vee deliberately invites him so that the men can do the plan they have deliberately arranged for the event. 

“Mina is still the same as before! We used to be watched, now our children,” said Jun. At a glance he looked at Yungi then quickly switched to another. 

Yungi looked at her and then looked at Mina. He did it repeatedly. Jun and Justin were of course watching him. They looked at each other and smiled. At least that was part of their original plan to find out if Yungi had actually released Mina. 

“You together?” Yungi looked at Jay sharply.

“Sorry, what did you say, Yun?” Jay pretended to be shocked. Since then, he waited for Yungi to ask that. 

“You together?” Yungi said in an annoyed tone.

“I by Mina mean?” Jay made sure again. It also did not escape the planned scenario. 

“There is indeed another besides him that you like?” Yungi. Face's upset. 

Jun and Justin stared at each other again then lowered their heads to hide their smiles. 

“Not yet. I'm not with him yet. But I will seriously pursue it now,” Jay replied with a serious face. 

Yungi was shocked. 

“That's if you allow it,” continued Jay while staring at Yungi.

“It's none of my business. You should have asked him, not me,” Yungi said. His eyes rolled to Mina who was smiling while talking to the children. 

Deg. Yungi's heart was pounding. He clenched his hands and held back his feelings. That smile always adorns every day first. 

“Hey, I appreciate you as her friend and ex-husband. Wouldn't it be better if I was honest with you,” Jay said calmly. All of Yungi's answers can be read easily. The answers result from emotions not calm thoughts. 

“If you appreciate me, you won't do anything with my wife behind my back,” grumbled Yungi annoyed.

Jay smiled immediately. Yungi is too easy to read. Jun and Justin who were not far from there were still monitoring.

“Former wife,” said Jay deliberately provoked his anger.

“You!” Yungi.

“Hit me and come back to Mina. I didn't do anything with him. He just loves you,” Jay's tone seriously. 

Yungi is still in his position and he looks uncomfortable. 

A tense aura enveloped them for a while as Jessica came to their table and sat down. 

“It's done. It's our turn to eat,” Jessica said calmly.

Yungi fixed his sitting position as well as quickly hid his mood. 

“Thank you for helping,” said Yungi softly.

“It's okay. I'm happy to do it,” Jessica said. She held Yungi's hand and smiled sweetly. 

Jay also similarly improved his sitting position as Mina walked towards him. He almost stood up for Mina to sit next to him so that Mina's position was opposite Jessica and Jay and Yungi both found the tip position also facing. 

“Do not, Jay. I'm just sitting at the end. Have to go back and forth there,” Mina said with a smile and pointed at the children's chair. 

“But,.” Jay looked at Yungi, Jessica, and Mina. 

“Why?” Mina smiled.

“It's okay. Please,” said Jay while cleaning the chair that Mina would occupy. 

“Thank you,” Mina said with a smile. 

Now Mina and Yungi are sitting opposite and next to them, Jay and Jessica are also sitting opposite.

Vee and Jini's turn looked at each other and then they looked at each other's husbands. All those gazes contained meaning and they revealed smiles.
