Love Can Follow

Love Can Follow
Chapter 16 Love and Hope

Mina stood in front of the balcony. It's the same as the night before. This time he himself made sure his children slept because Yungi went to the supermarket to buy a shortage of food supplies. Several times he stared at the ring tucked in his right ring finger and then his gaze returned to the night sky or the scene before him.

The plain white ring had a simple model, but the design was quite unique. He himself chose it and Yungi paid for it. He also wore it on the ring finger of his right hand while they were at a jewelry store in a mall in Kyoto after lunch. In addition to the silver-colored ring, Yungi presents a pair of Sakura flower earrings.

“You always look more beautiful if you use such model earrings!” That Yungi said with a shy smile as they were in the shop as well. Mina smiled as her memory focused on that bumbling Yungi face.

Once again he stared at the ring and even played it a few times. This time he sat in a chair that was available on the balcony while focusing his eyes still on the ring that he and Yungi consider as his wedding ring. The ring signifies many things to her. One of them he opens his heart to Yungi and if he does that, it means that he must be honest about all things in his life, especially all things related to Yungi and himself.

“It looks like this is your favorite place, huh?” Yungi's voice spread his mind. He turned towards Yungi who was standing at the door carrying two cans of drink.

“Oh, come home! Very cute!” replied Mina who indeed felt Yungi was quite quick to do her job.

“Hmm,” comments Yungi sambi thrusting a can of drink to Mina. He sat down in the chair next to Mina.

“Told me you haven't been about our visit to her house?” ask Yungi to make sure.

“Oh already! Everything's been sorted out. I'm going to do everything tomorrow, too. Just go, kok!” Mina.

“Hmm, thank you!” Yungi.

“Set there we want to do it, I forgot!” yungi said again.

“I want to get you somewhere. The kids aren't coming. He will be at my house,” said Mina.

“Oh, okay. But it's safe, right? Kids are you?” Yungi asked with a worried tone.

“Aman! Yuki also has a child the same age as our children,” said Mina.

“You are calm,”, he continued with a smile.

“If the kids are taken, I'm afraid they cape. The place is a bit panjak that way,” said Mina.

“Oh, okay,” says Yungi.

“So, we both dong!” yungi said in a seductive tone.

“He was both. Fun right?” Mina played her eyebrows while smiling.

Yungi smiled and also played his eyebrows.

“Cengos (Sundays:nyebelin) Yungi!” Mina smiled.

“Sleep yu! By malem.” Yungi stood up and approached Mina.

“Eh, what do you want?” Mina was shocked when Yungi carried her.

“Booking my wife! Gotta time!” yungi said while looking at Mina who was now on her lap.

Mina smiled. He put his hands on Yungi's neck.

“Content dong gift!” yungi said while bringing his cheeks closer.

Mina who immediately understood kissed Yungi's cheeks right and left and they then entered the room towards their room.

They arrived in Nagano at 10 a.m. They were picked up at the station and after introducing each other, they proceeded to an inn called “Hana”. After that, they went to visit Mina's friend Yuki's house. There, their children also began to get acquainted and communicate with mixed languages, Japanese and English.

“You're leaving after lunch?” yuki asks Yungi and Mina as they chat on the back porch watching their children play with the Yuki family dog.

“Yes, so that we do not take too long and do not go home too late,” Mina said. He replied in Japanese.

Yuki nodded.

“I've prepared everything.” Yuki said again.

“Thank you yes!” mina said with a smile.

“Of course! We are friends instead and friends are there to support each other, hmm!” Yuki smiled warmly and hugged Mina while stroking her waiting softly.

Yungi who had not understood the context of their conversation could only smile while sometimes nodding his head to make it invisible that he was actually confused.

“OK, I'm the same papah go first huh! You guys are okay here. Just a minute!” sahut Yungi while looking at his three children.

“Iya, Pah, ga nothing. We also don't want to go!” Juna.

“Pah, bring souvenirs for Yuna yes!” yuna said with her funny.

“Oh, of course! Yuna wants what?” yungi asked while crouching while Mina talked to Yuki.

“New sister, Pah!” yuna replied with a smile.

“Gosh!” Yungi.

“Call Papah yes!” yungi said while stroking the boy's head.

“Yes, Pah! Spirit Yes!” said the other two children while Yuna just smiled.

“You!!” Yungi squinted his eyes while shaking his head. She knew her two brothers who made Yuna say that.

Both of his sons just smiled.

“You guys, Mom go first yes!” Mina approached them and kissed the right and left cheeks of her three children.

“Okay, Mom! Don't kiss dong. I'm ashamed of Minami,” Zen whispered while looking at Yuki's daughter who is the same age as her and looking at her. Juna who saw them smiled.

“Kok shy! Kan you are all children Mother,” said Mina while furrowing her eyebrows.

“Minami, Shota, please take care of Auntie's children, yes!” Mina said to Yuki's children while stroking their heads.

His children nodded with a smile.

Yungi and Mina pamit and they walk a few meters down the path until finally finding a ladder that takes them deep into the hill.

“Oh, if the kids must be this exhausted!” yungi said after they reached the top of the stairs that were in the forest. He was breathing out.

Mina just smiled while nodding her head.

“Still far, Min?” ask Yungi.

“Lumayan anyway! We must walk again a few meters, continue to climb the stairs again but not as much as before anyway continue later until,” explained Mina.

“What place do you want to point at, Min?” Yungi so curious. So far the journey means something worthy and okay to see.

“Surprise dong! If you say now it's not exciting!” Mina.

“Alright, then come on!” Yungi.

They walked again and after almost half an hour they arrived at a modest-sized traditional Japanese house around which was given a fence. The temple looks old but well-preserved.

“Aibi!” mina said after she opened the fence made of wood. Of course he speaks Japanese.

A middle-aged mother still wearing traditional Japanese clothes came out of the house and smiled.

“Tadaima (I'm home),” Mina said with a smile. Eyes glazed.

“This is the father of Love and Hope,” Mina said as she pointed to Yungi.

Aunt's face was a bit surprised. However, before long he bowed respectfully with a smile. Yungi who does not understand Japanese just bowed back with a smile.

“Come in!” aunty named Irie.

They sat down for a moment to ease their fatigue while drinking tea. While Aunt Irie left them and walked towards the kitchen.

“This place is very nice and unique, Min. Is he the owner of the house? How do you know each other?” ask Yungi while keeping his teacup over the pisin.

“The story is long, Yun. I can tell you later. I'm not bringing you here for no reason. Since you're the same as me as family, I'll open up things that even Cloud doesn't know because this only has to do with you. Actually, no one knows, except Yuki and Aunt Irie.” Mina started telling stories.

“Oke.” Yungi improved his sitting posture. The atmosphere is quite cool because the wind is calm blowing does not make the feeling better.

His face looked tense.

“Follow me, yuk!” Mina.

He stood up from his seat then walked towards a room. Yungi also stood up and walked following her from behind. Mina slid the door slowly and as it opened, an altar with a photo of two small babies was in the corner of the room. Some baby items such as warm clothes, blankets, and baby beds are also there. Some baby toys are also stored near the altar and if you look at the colors of the items it is clear that both babies have male and female sex.

“Come in!” said Mina while pulling Yungi's hand slowly.

“Iya,” says Yungi.

Mina lit an incense stick and then gave it to Yungi and smiled.

“Let's pray for Love and Hope, yes!” mina said with a smile.

“Love and Hope?” Yungi looks confused.

“Pray first! I explain later!” Mina.

“Alright!” yungi Sahut.

The two of them prayed and after half an hour later they were still sitting there facing each other and Mina started telling stories.

“They're our first child,” Mina said.

He forced a smile while staring at Yungi which left a predictable reaction from a Yungi. His eyes widened, the expression on his face was filled with shock and he was able to respond as Mina said that.

“Where, Min?” Yungi let out a sound after a while.

“Love and Hope our first child. They were twins and died when they were one year old. They had a rare internal medicine and doctors could not help them, so they died,” Mina said as she tried to hold back her tears.

“You mean, you're pregnant from our results uhn, it was that night your time.. I,..,” Yungi's words are unclear. What is clear is that the conversation leads to the night that Yungi gets drunk and forces Mina to come into contact with him.

“When I found out I was pregnant, I had to find an excuse to stay away for a while. So, I joined the exchange program and went to Japan for two years. You want to go first, right?” Mina explained.

“Yes I remember what you said you were busy, so rarely can video call and just balesin chat-anja, because you are pregnant!” Yungi.

Mina nodded.

“Jeez, Min!!! You tuh! Why didn't you tell me?” Yungi.

“I'm not as stupid as you think! I must be responsible!” Yungi. He looks very sad.

“Job Min!” smith again. He covered his face with both hands.

“I ain't fucking on you, Yun. I made a decision. I used to think, our limit is up to temen. I don't want to lose you as my friend. After all, the mallem is fitting you drunk you also tell a lot of things. You said you didn't want to lose us too as your friend, right! So, it's better that way. Plus when I know I'm pregnant, you're on the same path as Fransisca. You look happy. I don't want to ruin it!” Mina looked at the photo of her two children.

“Yes, and I was made to know nothing. Jeez!” Yungi squeezed his hair.

“I can't imagine you the same way I married just because I was pregnant. I'm not ready and I don't want to, but I want our child to be born. I thought about what I should do at that time too! Aunty Irie and Yuki help me a lot,” explained Mina.

“Job! You're crazy!” Yungi was still shocked.

“I'm sorry, Yun! Because I didn't say this from the beginning!” Mina looked at Yungi, whose tears were now flowing.

“You must be surprised ya!” Mina. She was crying too.

“Min,” Yungi's words choked and he could only hug Mina while crying.

Both crying at the same time.

“Sorry to me, Yun!” Mina spoke in between her cries.

“Ga, this is not your fault. Don't do this! I'm the one who's sorry, Min!” lirih Yungi's. They hugged.

“But I can't keep them. Their illness is the same as my twin sister, Mini. I can't help them. There's no cure. There hasn't been even until now,” Mina's cries are getting louder. Yungi could feel the pain and it made him hug Mina even tighter.

“Not your fault! That was their destiny. We can't choose! You're a great mom. They must be proud of you too,” Yungi said as he stroked Mina's back gently. Mina said nothing. He just cried, spilling all his feelings.

“Face Love looks like your face,” Mina said.

“Iya. Hope's eyes look like yours,” shrewd Yungi.

They sat next to each other leaning against one of the walls while looking at a photo album.

“I can be a part of this, Min. If it's the same you, I can,” said Yungi while looking at some photos of Mina who was pregnant and some photos of USG results from month to month neatly arranged.” Yungi glanced at Mina and looked at Mina affectionately.

“We can still do it now, right?” Mina rests her head on Yungi's shoulder and holds Yungi's hand tightly.

Yungi nodded and smiled.

“I promise I'll make up for everything,” Yungi said. He kissed Mina's forehead.

“Appointment yes!” Mina looked up, looking towards Yungi.

“Hmm,” says Yungi.

They looked at me while smiling.

Mina kissed Yungi's cheek while smiling.

“Still, Yun!” lirih Mina's.

“No, Min, I'm the one who thanks.” Yungi.

“Well, now I feel relieved. Everything is better. Wanna take a walk? Near here there is a nice little tunnel water continues at the end there is a small pond, the water is warm! It's eternal. Even during the winter time is also not frozen and keep warm,” said Mina.

“Ah, which is in your photo yes!” Yungi. She remembers seeing one of the photos on Mina's pregnant album.

“Iya, the. Wanna see ga? Later if the children are quite big, I want to invite them here too,” said Mina enthusiastically.

“OK, come!” answer Yungi. They both stood up.

They went to the place they told them about after saying goodbye to Aunt Irie.
