Chapter 29 The New Neighbor

 It has been a few days since the freight car came and dropped the items right in front of Mina's house. A middle-aged couple and some fairly young men helped tidy up the items at home. Almost a week they tidied up the house and finally on the weekend the homeowner came. They are Yungi and Erika. 

Mina and Yungi were both shocked. And among the many coincidences that happened among them that also shocked them, it seemed like this was their greatest shock. According to Yungi, the house was gifted by his parents, so he just stayed occupied and did not know how the process of buying the house or the background of the house. 

At first, Yungi thought he would live in an apartment in Jakarta, but Erika did not want to. He had visited Bandung several times and he felt fit with the city. So, Yungi decided to stay in Bandung. 

Yungi and Erika invited the neighbors of one gate that was only four houses for dinner as a way to introduce themselves so that they are also not confused or awkward when they meet face to face accidentally or greet. After that, Yungi and Erika interact more often with Mina and Awan. They often had lunch or dinner together and sometimes held barbecue events together. During that interaction, Erika and Mina's relationship becomes closer. They are often seen walking, shopping, and cooking together. 

“Awan is so lucky! Mina is beautiful again!” Erika commented as they had just returned to dinner together at Mina's house. Yungi just smiled. He already knew the quality of Mina since their friendship was already close to a quarter of a century. 

“He pinter in many ways. Oh, I envy her! Cook the jago, make the cake too, just keep it up! She's great! How come you as his friend, can ya not fall in love with him, wonder I Yun!” Erika opened the refrigerator and stored the food Mina gave her. 

Deg. Yungi was shocked. But he tried not to show it. 

“And feeling can't be imposed, Babe!” that's what came out of his mouth. 

“Iya, anyway! That's real too! only if I were you, missed him anyway .. hmmm weird ...! I'm the only girl who likes, you guys don't!” Erika commented flatly. 

Yungi was silent not responding. He was busy with his phone. 

“Kok ain't hearder heh Babe?” Erika was upset. 

“Hah, Oh, yes sorry! There's an email from the office. Undaunted ya!” Yungi. She left Erika while trying to make a call through her phone. 

Yungi stood on the balcony of his house with HP still in his ears. Opposite her, which is the balcony of Mina's house, she sees Mina taking a clothesline. Unknowingly, Yungi's eyes were engrossed in enjoying the sight. For some reason, the woman who had just been discussed with his wife did look more attractive in his eyes. 

Actually from the beginning they met again, Yungi had already experienced a lot of weirdness in his heart. Her heart always felt unsettled if she was near Mina. He doesn't know what's underlying and he doesn't want to find out more because he's worried it's just going to make his relationship with Mina and Erika weird or bad. 

“Gi what, Min?” Yungi Tetiba stood near the kitchen while crossing his two hands on his chest. 

“Job! Yungi, you made me surprised to know!” Mina who was surprised reached Yungi's voice not far from her holding her chest, trying to calm her shock. 

“Hahahaha, sorry yes!” Yungi laughing. 

“I knocked on the door how many times it was not opened and I tried to open it was not locked, so I entered,” said Yungi. 

“Yes, ga anything!” Mina. He looks calmer now. 

“What's first?” ask Yungi.

“This is the rest of the cake, if it is not made stale, so I make fruit pie,” Mina said while removing the apron. 

“What's up?” Mina dyed.

“Who to look for?” ask Yungi.

“Erika. She's not coming with you?” ask Mina. 

“Some of his friends came to Bandung, met, so he went with his friends,” said Yungi. 

“Oh, so! You still don't come?” Mina stood in front of Yungi.

“I want to fix the faucet in the bathroom.” Yungi replied casually.

“Oh, broken? How do you call a handyman?” Mina pulls the dining table chair. 

“Sit!” mina Sahut.

“Ngga ah! Bentar doang's! want a pinjem tool kit! Which cloud?” ask Yungi. It was her turn to be confused. 

“Ke Germany, it was dawn. There is work,” said Mina. 

“You alone?” Yungi.

“Ga, now there will be you!” mina said with a laugh.

“Tsk!” Yungi glanced in annoyance. Mina's answer made it so. 

“You need pinjem tool kit right? It's in the barn. You walk to the back and beside the pool there is a room. There!” Mina pointed towards the swimming pool. 

“Ah okay!” yungi said and he walked in the direction Mina had just pointed out. Shortly thereafter, he returned with a box he had tote in his hand and also with a small wound in his temple.

“Job! Why is that, Yun?” Mina pointed to the temple of Yungi.

“Kejedot end of stairs,” said Yungi while grimacing a bit because he did not realize his hand touched his wound. 

“Ah behind the door yes! Ow hell! I told you how many times the cloud asked to be moved, but he forgot to keep. Sorry yes! Come sit down! I'm medicine!” mina said again as she quickly walked towards the living room opening a closet and retrieving the medicine box. 

Yungi who initially refused said nothing. He sat down at the dinner table and let Mina treat him. Yungi was stunned as he furrowed his brows. He recognized the body odor. He swallowed. 

“It's done, Yun. Don't go home yet. I want to give Erika a pie. Wait a minute!” mina said quickly she brought the medicine box back into place and walked towards the kitchen. 

Yungi just nodded his head. 

Mina returns with a clear baking box inside containing pie and red wine. 

“Oh, why is there red wine?” Yungi. 

“I can't drink that now. The clouds don't like this much and Erika likes it. So, this is for him,” said Mina with a reddened face. 

“Oh, why?” Yungi. 

“I'm pregnant,” Mina said with a smile. His face looks happy. 

Yungi. 

“Oh!! whoa! congratulations!” said Yungi while trying to calm himself from his surprise. 

To be honest there was something pressing down on his heart like a huge rock crushing down on him that made his chest become somewhat claustrophobic. 

“Eh, but don't make a fuss! You see the clouds don't know yet!” mina said again. 

“Hah! How can?” Yungi was surprised. 

“Kok so I'm the first to know,” said Yungi. He feels bad.

“Kan just so happens to be gini. Ga anything! You'll meet me too!” Mina smiled and Yungi just nodded his head. 

A month later, Erika was also pregnant. Pregnancy at about the same time that makes the relationship between Erika and Mina closer. They spend more time together, especially Yungi began to serve far away. 

She was very lucky because during her pregnancy, the Clouds were always there for her. It was different to Erika because Yungi was almost nothing to her and Erika often looked sad because of her solitude. Therefore, Mina always tried to make her situation better. The cloud certainly supported his decision and even helped in the process.  

When Mina gave birth, the Clouds were by her side. And when Erika gave birth, Mina was by her side. Yungi came the day after Erika gave birth because her plane was suddenly delayed and Yungi could not book another plane because it was the fastest plane for her to go home to Bandung and accompany Erika. There had been tension between the two, but they were then able to cope with it somehow, which obviously both had already made up after Juna was almost a month old. 

Another problem arises when Erika does not want to breastfeed Juna. The reason is, he does not want his body damaged. The only asset he thought bound Yungi so as not to move to another woman. Yungi is angry. The Clouds and Mina helped. Mina breastfed Juna and Zen. No wonder the relationship between the two children is very close because it is close to milk. 

The problem gets bigger when Yungi can only go home once every three months. Erika felt more alone. He often leaves Juna with Mina and Awan and he spends more time in Jakarta with his friends. He has also been back to America for some time with his family and ignores Juna because Juna is with Mina. 

If Yungi returns home, there is more often a quarrel than harmony. Erika often gets angry and leaves Yungi and Juna. Erika asked for a divorce several times, but Yungi never responded. He is more often silent or chooses to leave if Erika rushes at home and leaves Juna to Mina. 

The stressed Erika more often shuts herself in the room, and Juna is always with Mina. Mina also took care of Erika when she was depressed and had tried to commit suicide three times by downing sleeping pills, dropping out of the balcony and even rubbing her veins. For the incident, Awan finally called Yungi and told him everything. 

Yungi went home and followed Awan's advice. They consult the marriage expert and Yungi even off for three months accompanying Erika to deal with her depression issues. Of course there are improvements and even after a few years of walking and Yungi who is more routine home, finally Erika became pregnant again. Mina thought a second pregnancy would make Yungi and Erika's relationship better, but she was wrong. Yungi tetiba was sent to a further area and Erika returned to her depression. The birth of Yuna ended their relationship. 

Min, I'm sorry because I can only make you bother. In my life, I've been lucky to meet someone like you. I really appreciate all your affection that I feel is really sincere with me. I love you too, Min. Sorry for making my own decision without discussing it with you. I know that if I talk about this matter with you, you will prevent me from divorcing Yungi, and I can't stand Yungi anymore. I hope you understand. 

I'm sorry because Yuna and Juna must be the same as you. Please don't ignore them and take care of them for me. I send Yungi to you because I know Yungi is just hearing your words. I love you, Min. Say my apologies to Clouds too, because because of me he also became bothered. 

Erika. 

It was Erika's letter to Mina after one day Erika disappeared to where followed by a divorce lawsuit to Yungi and left Yuna and Juna with Mina. Mina could only cry. She was very regretful of Erika's decision to just leave. He is also upset with Yungi for not looking for Erika afterwards. 

Yungi also suffered from depression afterwards. He also felt sorry and guilty for Erika. Mina does not know that actually, she also had time to look for Erika and want to improve her relationship, but nil and so, finally time goes on and one day, Yungi decided to resume his life. She begins to return to her work, drowning her life in work and sometimes interspersed with her fellowship with her children and believes Yungi is very awkward in the presence of his children, It's always Mina who makes them more able to interact better. 

Yungi has just recovered from his wound. It was Mina's turn to get hit. Cloud died in a plane crash. Same with Yungi, he also had a dark time and more closed himself. During the process, all his friends in the circle helped him, especially Jay. He was the one who contacted Mina the most and asked for news. He often goes back and forth Singapore-Bandung just to accompany Mina to lunch or just a casual chat. Sesil and the Mina family also played a role, especially in the care of the children of Mina and Yungi. And Mina always felt grateful because they were always there for her. 

Of all those processes, for Yungi, when he was depressed, Mina was the person who meant the most to him. At least, he was the one who always reminded him to eat and take care of himself, to continue his life because he still had two children who needed him. Of course there were many people who supported her in her healing process, it was just that Mina had her own value in her heart. 

Mina is the same. When he was down, Yungi had his own way of keeping him strong. Jay is the most thoughtful person to pay attention to him, but Yungi is always there for him, especially when he needs it. 

“Sil, do you know where Mina is? How to phone not lift?” Yungi called Sesil, Mina's sister. It was one night when Yungi was on his way from Jakarta to Bandung and he tried to call Mina to take her to dinner, but to no avail. 

“Today will be even the hundredth day Kak Awan died, Brother Yun. Kak Mina this morning said she wanted to go to the villa where they honeymoon first!” replied Sesil. 

“Kak Yungi want to chat with children ga?” ask Sesil. 

“Later Sil, I want to meet them too,” said Yungi who felt bad. He closed the phone. He knew the address of the Villa Sesil meant. So, when he arrived in Bandung, he immediately directed his car there. 

Yungi got out of the car and then walked towards the main door. Several times he knocked on the door, but there was no response. He tried to open it and it was not locked. Yungi went inside and observed the entire room. 

Slender. 

He went upstairs to see a room with lights on and opened the door. Mina sat on the balcony with a bottle of red wine and two glasses of wine nearby. One is full and one is almost finished. 

“Min,” Oghed Yungi and he sat next to her. 

Mina. His eyes were all the rest of the crying. 

They were silent and sitting next to each other. 

“You know I'm here,” Mina's voice is a bit hoarse opening up the conversation. 

“I phone Sesil,” said Yungi. 

“I almost never said love to him. I'm sorry now. I should have just expressed all my feelings. I should have told you what's in my heart. And now he doesn't exist. It shouldn't be like this. He should have given me time to show my feelings. I love him too, dear him. But I never said it was when he was there, when he hugged me, when he was near me,”. Her voice choked. He buried his face between his knees and cried loudly. 

“Hei,” Og Yungi. He moved his wine and glass and then grabbed Mina into his embrace. 

“This is fate. You have to accept it. If you can't say it's the same, you can still say Zen. You have to live. The clouds will not like to squirm you like gini.” Yungi spoke and still hugged Mina. 

Mina silently listened to what Yungi said. Before long he looked at Yungi. 

“You really. I still have Zen,” Mina. He was trying to develop a smile. 

Yungi smiled as he nodded his head. 

“Thank you,”ujar Mina. He tried to smile and lower his face. 

“Hei,” Og Yungi.

“Ga anything. You still have me. Other teams too. We support each other. That's what you were talking about when I was also in your position!” lirih Yungi while cupping Mina's little face. 

They looked. Mina smiled. Her hand stroked Yungi's cheek gently and it made Yungi stunned. 

“Min, ..aku, ..” Yungi's voice sounds heavy. 

Mina brought her face closer and kissed Yungi. Yungi.

They kissed for a long time and Yungi held Mina with their lips still tied into the house and continued on the bed. They were struggling on the bed, stripping each other of their clothes and when Yungi pulled the blanket because they were wearing almost nothing on the body, Mina stopped the activity. 

“We can't like this! No, Yun! Ga can!” Mina pushed Yungi as if she realized something. It made Yungi fall asleep beside her. Mina quickly picked up her clothes and put them on her body again. Yungi did the same. They sit on the bed, looking back at each other. The silence between them made them even more awkward. 

“Sorry me!” yungi started the conversation. 

“No, you are not wrong! I'm the one who started! Sorry me!” Mina. 

“Hey, it's okay. I ...,” Yungi did not continue because he was shocked that both of Mina's hands slipped into her stomach. 

Mina keeps her head on Yungi's back and hugs Yungi from behind. 

“If we do, when we wake up, we will be equally confused. If it were like that, we wouldn't be friends. I've lost my husband. I don't want to lose a friend too,” said Mina. 

Yungi gulped. He just nodded his head in response. 

“Tonight hug me and accompany me beside me yes,” lirih Mina. 

Once again Yungi nodded his head. 

Mina smiled. 

“Thank you,” Mina said. 

They slept hugging that night.
