Love Can Follow
Chapter 56 The Big Mistake

Overstretched.

That was Mina's feeling back then. Amidst the happiness of returning home and reuniting with family, Mina is faced with many sad realities. That his parents were dead was one of the hardest things in his life. Taking care of this is also a long stretch because it concerns the legacy and position of the chair in the company, and for this matter, Mina handed over completely to Sesil and the company lawyer.

The other business is the shop. Along with the trial running, Mina got the news that once again had to let her down. The store received sharp criticism from customers who came there. It is suspected that the customers were big fans of Leo Sudarsono who did not accept the death of Mina. They also reject the fact that the influencer is someone who is evil and crazy. Some of his stores had to close because of sadistic news in the media by them.

The saddest thing is that after almost a year and a half of running, the trial results initially ruled that Yungi was sentenced to five years in prison. Yungi was charged with murder in self-defense, tampering with evidence, and negligence for not calling the police when he found out Mina contacted him. However, Jay did not remain silent. He helps Yungi and by using his skills so that Yungi's sentence can be reduced to two years by paying a fine of some money that has been determined by the court.

During Yungi's two years in prison, Mina pontang-panting asked the help of many parties related to his prison Yungi so that Yungi not disturbed. He's already spent a lot of money on it because of the bribe there and here. He did not care that the way he did it was not right because the most important thing was that Yungi was safe inside there. Yungi never knew about it.

Mina was not strong to see Yungi who was so thin and unkempt. His mind was tormented for choosing to make amends for Mina. He should have been that skinny and unkempt. He should have been behind the bars. Not Yungi. His inner turmoil made him not feel good. Every night he cried and felt deep regret. Yungi often forbade her from talking about the truth, that she had to be strong enough to hold him back because for Yungi two years was not long as she could see Mina and her children happy.

However, Yungi was wrong. Mina was not a person who used to throw blame at others, much less cover it up. If he's wrong he'll say wrong and if he's right, he'll tell the truth. With such a character, at one point, Mina would definitely get tired and say what it is.

“Bu,” Zen said one night when he heard Mina sobbing in his room. The boy stood at the door of the room and knocked on the door several times. Next to him were Juna and Yuna.

There were footsteps approaching the door and the door was opened shortly. Mina was standing there. Now the height of both boys Mina already exceeds the height of Mina. They're in first-class High School now. While Yuna's height was already the same as Mina's height.

“What's up, Son?” Mina tried to develop a smile even though her eyes were careless and her nose was flushed.

“Can we come in? Let's talk,” Zen says.

“Iya, of course.” Mina opened the door wider.

“Mother.” Juna opened the conversation. He held Mina's hand tightly. They sat in a circle on the bed. The gazes of the three children were filled with worry but also affection.

Mina looked at them while trying to smile.

“Mother doesn't need to hold everything alone. We're all Mom's kids. We love Mom. Tell me what's up. We thought we were old enough to understand everything.” Zen stroked Mina's back slowly.

“While what I'm about to tell you is bad and could affect our relationship, it would be better if we were together, so we could find a solution. Isn't that what mom always taught us?” Yuna looked at Mina with a smile. He stroked Mina's right arm.

“You guys,” said Mina with a choked voice. She cried and hugged her three children.

“Thank you. I'm strong because you're there for Mom.” Mina said on the sidelines sobs her tears.

The three children smiled. They waited patiently until Mina finally calmed down and was ready to talk.

“Mom has made two big mistakes,” Mina said as she exhaled a long breath to start the sentence to open an explanation. Her three children did not respond as they waited for her mother to continue speaking.

“Actually, it was the mother who killed Leo, not your father. But your father insisted on admitting it. He wants you to be with him and he accepts his punishment. I told Papah it wasn't a good idea. It would be better if the mother who received the punishment because it was the mother who did it. But your papa said, ...” Mina's voice choked. He came back crying.

As long as they listened to his mother's unfinished explanation, the expressions on their faces were jumbled. At first they were shocked and then they became sad and calmer. Everyone seems to understand what really happened. Now, they realize why her mother seems to have such a heavy burden because it turns out her mind and feelings are not calm. Although Yungi made amends, Mina felt it was not the right thing to do. The guilty person who should have accepted his sentence.

“Impard Mom!” Mina seemed ready to continue. He rubbed his tears on his cheeks and then regulated his breathing.

Yuna stroked her mother's arm. While Juna stroked his back.

“Mother, if I was in Papah position, I would do the same,” Zen said as he wiped his mother's tears on his cheek.

“No, that's not true. Can't do that,” his mother said. His face looked shocked.

“But I will still do it,” Zen said gently looking at his mother.

Mina shook her head.

“Because I really love Mom. I won't let mom suffer.” Zen smiled and hugged his mother.

“Oh, Zen!” lirih Mina while letting out her tears again. Juna and Yuna hugged their mother.

“After all, I saw my father's condition when my mother was kidnapped, Mom! He was desperate and barely survived. The only thing I can do for my mom is this. I understand the mind of father,” said Juna.

“Of course it is wrong not to admit a mistake, Mom. But in this situation let father play his part. The twins need their mother now. We are not enough for them.” Yuna is strengthening.

“Juna understands mom's feelings. Juna and Zen last week went to visit Papah. Did mom know as long as we spoke, she was only thinking about the health and state of the mother's heart. He even told us that you don't have to feel guilty anymore. You have to be strong for all of us. We didn't know what we meant before, but now we do. And Juna thinks papah is right. Mother must be strong for us,” said Juna with a smile.

Mina looked at Juna and her eyes were back in tears.

“We are all dear mothers,” says Yuna.

Again they hugged.

“Is now mother's feeling better?” ask Zen.

“Uhm, thank you!” mina said as she gently rubbed Zen's head and she developed a smile.

“Thank God! We are sad that mother is like this,” said Yuna.

“Don't be sad anymore. We'll all be fine as dad said,” Juna said.

They all hold hands.

“Mom always had us like a mother who was always there for us. No matter our circumstances are good or not. poor or rich, I will continue to be with Mother.” Zen spoke softly.

“Oh, Zen! You're an adult now. Your words make mom happy,” said Mina.

“Because mom taught us so!” said Juna.

“If one day we go, we don't really go, Mom. Our hearts are always with our mother. Don't worry,” Yuna said.

“Why did you say go?” Juna did not like to hear that word.

“Only brother will not go to college and work? At that time, we must be far from Mom and Dad as well. But we're not really going, are we?” Yuna explained.

“Ah, so! If so, my brother understands. Kirain you intend to go from us,” said Juna.

“Ngapain went to a place where no mother, fun Wee!” Yuna taunted Juna.

Everybody laugh.
