Love Can Follow
Chapter 30 Jay and Mina

Love will not quickly arise or follow if the seeds are not there. That means Mina and Yungi won't be able to open up to each other easily, unless they both have previous feelings. That's how Jay thought as his mind twisted back the shadow of Mina and Yungi who were busy chatting through a video call Justin when they gathered together in Japan. 

What's wrong with her? He had everything that women and men could desire. His life was so perfect that it would actually be very easy for him to be with anyone he wanted. However, he rejected it and all because of one woman named Mina. 

Since the first meeting when they were both used as school representatives to be a school promotion model, Jay's eyes and heart were no longer transferable to anyone. Both parts of his body were very diligent in observing the girl who became his target. Just like the other boys who were also paying attention to the school star, his Ace in ice skating, Jay tried to get close to Mina. 

He sent love letters, flowers, chocolates, and other items several times and kept them in his locker, but the results were nil. He was just like the other men who also complained because there was no reply. At least, he knew it when he accidentally eavesdropped on some of his friends talking about it. After that, then, he also knew from Mina herself that Mina did not reply to their letters because she said she was often used as a betting material for whom she would reply first and she did not like it. 

Jay was heartbroken by Mina many times. But, Jay couldn't blame Mina either. It was purely a folly of him due to his loser attitude and choosing love secretly, so that was the end, he could only enjoy Mina from a distance. 

Jay's first heartbreak was when he found out Mina was with Genta, but then his hopes grew again when Genta died and he was not owned by anyone. The gap gets bigger when they meet often because the school makes them meet on many occasions. That was along with five other friends in Circle 7. 

When they had the opportunity, they became closer and supportive of each other. Jay is often present when Mina participates in the match and Mina is also the same. He used to come to Kendo Jay's games. Some of Jay's friends even think they're a couple because Mina was always there during Jay's key years. They also watch and hang out together. So, who would have thought that Mina only thought of him as a friend. 

His second heartbreak was when he found out that Yungi was Mina's first man. It was when Mina hung out with him one day after college. He also tells how Yungi forced himself and if Mina had not asked him to keep it a secret, he would have beaten Yungi all out. 

The third heartbreak when the Clouds were introduced to all members of Circle 7. She knows it's really the end of her love journey to Mina and she has to give up. Mina will marry the man of her choice and of course as the one who loves her too, she supports the choice of the woman who always fills her heart. Therefore he chose to pursue his career and drown out all his feelings there.

Then the world sided with him, giving him another chance when Awan died, but was slowly snatched away again and this time by Yungi, even though it was actually his children who asked him to get them married. Too often he's been sick by Mina, but he can't blame her. Again, it's his own stupidity. He was too cowardly to go forward and explain all his feelings to Mina. 

It is true that Jay also supports Yungi. That's because at first, Jay had the thought that their marriage was just a setting, waiting for the right time for them to get divorced. Jay understands Mina well and he doesn't think in the least that Mina also has feelings for Yungi and that was his biggest mistake. 

He's a great lawyer. It should be that he parse every incident and understand every interaction, especially between Mina and Yungi and now in his contemplation that he can then conclude that the two like each other but are equally unaware of his feelings. It only takes time and moments, so everything will open by itself. The moment is there, at least the two children who created it and the time has also come to them, yet now they enjoy their lives. 

It also means there will never be a story between Jay and Mina and she will have to close tight little cracks that always try to get bigger with hopes that ultimately hurt her. Despite that, Jay didn't really close his heart. The world once sided with him once when Cloud died and by then he was ready to leave Mina, So, so, what's wrong if he hopes once again that there will be an end for Mina and Yungi and he will be his last man in Mina's life. 

Should he wait? 

Yungi will not end his relationship with Mina no matter what happens because of the lizard who started glancing at Mina in his own way. He starts to become someone who will always make Mina look up to him, seeking his attention by quarreling with him by upsetting him and in many other ways. The jerk did well and he deserves a thumbs up because it turns out that Mina became attached to him. 

As a fellow man who also paid attention to Mina, he knew very well what Yungi was doing and he also knew that he was just a Second lead. So, would she have a place in Mina's heart other than her status as a very reliable friend?

“Mina, can I ask something?” jay asked one day when they had dinner together after watching together at the cinema. That was when they were in college. 

“Ya, can. Of course,” Mina said. He looked at Jay with a smile.

“There are a lot of girls just like me about you,” Jay said. 

“Iya, this has something to do with Yungi,” Jay said. 

“Yungi?” Mina furrowed her brows. 

Jay nodded his head. 

“Iya said you have a special relationship with Yungi, that is, and I said it is not true, Hopefully I did not say wrong!” Jay spoke while looking at Mina. 

It was Jay's wits to know how Mina and Yungi are related. 

“Yes, really no! I'm the same Yungi as me as you are Jay! actually there's nothing. In part why are the girls tuh on the same persimmon yungi. He is a playboy.  Even if he were the last man on earth, I would not want to be with him. Mending himself to death,” Mina replied casually. 

“Hus, Min! Don't talk about it. Later God even your soul mate,” said Jay. Although his heart was happy, he was also worried that the words of the old man were usually lucky and he said he could not say amit-amit likes even come true. 

“Finished annoyance!” mina said in a very upset tone. 

“Soalnya Min, there are some girls who have been horrified Yungi said he said he likes you so much!” jay again. 

“The opposite is the wits of the Yungi make a girl who is real with him. Well, if he refuses it means that the girl who is actually the same as him is below his standards. Si Yungi deliberately likes to make my sprain. She doesn't use my name twice for nolak girls. Insolent and real! Pikasebeleun (sucks)!” Mina was really grumbling. 

Jay laughs. 

“OK! That means you really don't have the same feelings for him?” ask Jay again. 

“Gosh! Jay, if I had to choose between you and him, I would have chosen you. Really!” mina said with a smile. 

“Udah ah! Don't do that anymore. My eating mood is so broken!” sahut Mina and he took the drink

Maybe for Mina the talk about the choice was just a small talk, but not for Jay who until today, until this moment, he held the talk in his heart. That became the basic reason for him not to end his secret love for Mina and would wait for that somehow until when he would patiently fight so that Mina could see him. 

Again he asked himself.

Should he wait? Or should he speed up the process?
