I'M Not A Special Character

I'M Not A Special Character
Main Headquarters Command

After the luxury-style car disappeared behind the horizon, slowly all attention was on Arsiel. Between fear and awe, there were also those who felt envious of him.

Arsiel sighed softly. It was not entirely according to plan, but it could still be considered a success.

"This way at least the other disciples won't dare to bother me anymore, right? They're very troublesome. My focus on finding information was hampered because of a fucking pest. Now I understand why 03 didn't get any information for two years in this place." Arsiel muttered softly, almost like he was whispering.

Arland deftly walked over to Arsiel, pulling the girl's wrist to follow in his footsteps. Arsiel did not know why Arland was doing that, but he could not resist Arland in front of the many eyes that were watching him. Marchel who saw that hurriedly tailed at them.

Arland took the girl to the OSIS room which had been their headquarters during their time at school. After the door of the OSIS room closed perfectly, Arsiel brushed off Arland's hand.

"What's wrong? Why are you pulling me like that?"

"Aren't you aware that your phone has fallen?" Arland snorted, his hand handed him a very familiar smartphone in Arsiel's eyes.

"Sorry, and thank you." Arsiel took the smartphone from Arland's hand.

"Don't check the received messages?"

"What?! Any messages received?"

"Yes! Judging from the content of the message, Marchel should have received the same thing."

Hearing Arland's words suddenly made Arsiel and Marchel surprised. They immediately checked the message received as said by Arland.

[Taken to Agent A-09]

[You are promoted to Gold Card Agent and will be on a mission with Agent A-03 with some agent numbers from the second faction.]

[With this, Black Card pulls Agent A-09 from the current mission.]

[The order to immediately return to the main headquarters.]

Arsiel felt confused after reading the message listed there. On the other hand Marchel smiled wryly staring at her smartphone screen. How could Arsiel be promoted so quickly? Even his mission this time was far from finished. Arsiel looked at Marchel asking for an explanation. However, Marchel shook her head slowly as a sign that she did not know the answer.

"Are you just going to leave school?" Arland asked with his flat expression. The sound coming out of Arland's mouth managed to dispel the silence. The two turned their eyes to Arland.

"certain. It's a message from the main chairman, we can't postpone it."

"Now too?"

"If he sends you a message today, then we'll have to leave before night falls."

"Arland can you keep this a secret for me? right now only you know our identity." Arsiel looked at Arland with serious eyes.

Arland nodded in agreement to Arsiel's request. Actually Arland wanted to prevent Arsiel from leaving school, but he realized the girl would not follow his wishes.

On the way to the class Arsiel for a moment wanted to forget all the questions that perched in his mind. But if you think about it again, the charade that he had planned just wasted time and energy into a futile thing.

"Stop thinking shit! I should be happy right now. Butwhy? What happened to make him change his mind?" Arsiel continued muttering at every step.

Suddenly the square thing in her skirt pocket shook, a sign of an incoming call. Immediately his hand grabbed the smartphone and checked the name listed on the screen.

"What does he want this time?" Arsiel clucked in annoyance. His finger shifted the green circle to receive the call.

["How are you?"]

The sound of an adult man from Arsiel's smartphone speaker.

"I'm good, Dad. What's the matter calling me?" Arsiel asked in a taut tone.

["You have remained the same until now. Be polite, I am your father!"]

"It's not so, Dad. Right now I'm heading to class for lessons, if you don't tell me the point I'll be late for class."

["Wee you later tonight. There's something I want to tell you."]

That short sentence was able to make Arsiel pause for a moment. His jaw hardened when considering the state of the house that seemed to reject his presence.

"....Can't we talk about it over the phone?" Arsiel bit her lower lip, trying to control her tone.

["Can't. Don't look for excuses, I'm waiting for you tonight."] The phone connection was interrupted after the sentence was successfully spoken.

Arsiel grasped his smartphone tightly venting his sense of regret. How dare the old man say he is disrespectful, whether he does not realize he is very selfish. Arsiel clucked angrily and ran straight to her class.

After the school bell rang, Arsiel rushed home to her place. All this time he lied to his parents about him living in a dorm. Actually he lived in a place that had been provided by the headquarters.

"Arsiel wait!" A familiar voice intercepted Arsiel at the lip of the school gate. Arsiel flipped over, his gaze catching the owner of the voice which was none other than Arland.

"What's wrong?" Arsiel asked a question that made Arland have to take a deep breath.

"If you go back to headquarters, then what about school?"

"school? Headquarters will take care of it. I don't handle things like that." Arsiel shook his head slowly.

"So, how long are you not going to go back to school?"

"Eitherway. But I don't think it's going to be anytime soon."

"Is that so? Then can we spend some time together before you go back to makas?" Arland gulped. He managed to say a sentence that had been stuck in his throat earlier.
