"I'm Marchel Volgy. Hello to you." Marchel painted a smile on her face to lure the target. In that instant Arsiel patted his forehead slowly, he was not exhausted by Marchel's magical behavior.
"S-Greet also know." Gerryn slightly distanced her face from feeling too close. His heart was pounding so hard that his face turned a little red without him noticing.
"Senior, I want to buy something first." Arland who understood the situation immediately took Arsiel's hand and led her out of the OSIS room.
Arland knew that Arsiel could not just leave because there was Gerryn there. The girl must still maintain the role of a perfect figure character.
"Alright, don't forget to bring me some snacks and soft drinks."
After that Arland and Arsiel disappeared from Marchel's sight and left only the two of them in the room.
"Wouldn't you come by for a minute? There is still one bag of tea left. I'll make you some warm tea." Marchel slowly grabbed Gerryn's hand, making the girl unable to puckle.
Marchel put Gerryn to sit in one of the available chairs, then went to prepare a warm tea as promised by him.
"Drink." Marchel placed the warm cup of tea on Gerryn's palm. The girl could only accept without being able to respond.
While Marchel was still busy with her affairs, at the same time, Arland and Arsiel were still holding hands. Arland was impressed like he was pulling Arsiel and took the girl with him, whereas Arland just held the wrist without pulling it at all.
"Where should we go?" Arland asked in a slow tone, almost like he was whispering. Arsiel was silent for a moment, thinking of a place that would otherwise be too conspicuous.
"To library. There's something I want to talk to you about without the knowledge of that gentleman with that soft wits." Arsiel whispered. His eyes fixed on the corridor passage as usual.
They went through several classes and some extracurricular spaces to get to the library. Arland instantly circulated his gaze, looking for the most desolate place.
"Follow me!" Arland took off his hand, asking Arsiel to tail.
They picked out a few books and sat down on the old-looking chairs and tables in the corner of the room. They did not read, the book was only a cover.
"What do you want to talk to me about?"
"Regarding Gerryn. Don't you wonder why he's our target?"
Arsiel's words were able to make Arland play his memory back to the atmosphere of a scary night, where at that time he was in a very terrible place. The half-finished building with three floors and only standing pillars to hold the floor above it. His memory clearly captured the shadow of the bones in the iron bars and it succeeded in making Arland so horrified.
Arland recalled the essence of his conversation with Marchel and in that second his eyes widened as if recalling an important thing he had forgotten. Arland cleared his throat slowly trying to shake off his fear.
"It's funny, why are you still asking? His nature was a reflection of a savage man considering he was his biological child. Gerryn has been involved in the case of a dark organization. Although Gerryn was a student, she was a very cruel girl!"
"So Gerryn is like you? What kind of work does he do?"
"No!! don't equate me with him! I'm not as fuckin' as he is. Speaking of work, he's not employed."
"Not hired?"
"Gerryn just helped his parents."
"helpful? You mean..."
"Well you're right. I'm sure you've been listening to Gerryn's crime footage from Marchel. His parents have illegal jobs, I mean his job endangers many lives." Arsiel was silent for a moment. His hand flipped the thick sheet of book he was holding.
"My mission is looking for the old man's weakness. Gerryn made my job easier. But it turns out my guess was wrong. This mission became even more complicated, especially with the arrival of Marchel that I never predicted. I can't be rash to take a step. If something goes wrong, a great war awaits."
"Who is that old man? war with who?"
"Gerryn's parents were an executive member of the Chjornaya organization. The man loved Gerryn who was his only child."
"I still don't understand..." Arland scratched his back neck. Arland's forehead shriveled as he tried to digest Arsiel's elusive sentence.
"The bottom line is if our identity is exposed to the old man, then the Chjornaya organization will move and monitor this school closely. I don't care if they target just us, but other innocent students could also be in danger." Arsiel let out a heavy sigh, covering the hardcover thick book violently.
"At least I've understood the outline. But there's one question that still bothers me."
"Tell me."
"How could Gerryn do, I mean help his parents' work without feeling the slightest guilt? It's not a simple job." Arland shook his head, feeling heavy-hearted that the person he had known for a long time had been involved in the unexpected.
"That's why you'll know the answer as time goes on. for now that's all I can say." Arsiel closed his eyes, then turned his head and looked at Arland's face seriously.
"Stop dealing with us when the situation is already out of control. You're not a part of us, so don't get yourself involved too deeply."
"AAARRGHHHH! YOU SHIT!!!!"
