First Drop of Vienna Water Wudhu
Challenges in Debate

The atmosphere in the class was tense as Vienna and Maya arrived for a debate scheduled to be one of the hottest sessions of the semester. The topic of the debate is about religion and religious freedom, a topic that is sensitive and has the potential to spark heated debate. They know that most of their classmates have different views on religion, and this will be a true test for them.

Vienna, as the head of the debate team, felt a great responsibility on his shoulders. He knew that he had to open the debate with strong and deep arguments to support his team's views. Maya, as one of the team members, also felt tense but was ready to give full support to Vienna in this debate.

As Vienna stood in front of the class, she saw the faces of her diverse classmates. Some of them seemed enthusiastic to listen to this debate, while others looked skeptical and ready to challenge their arguments.

Vienna began with a strong argument about the importance of religious freedom in a diverse society. He outlined how religious freedom is a human right that must be respected, and how religion is an inseparable part of the identity of many individuals. He also stressed the importance of tolerance in respecting the religious beliefs of others.

However, some of his classmates asked sharp questions that tested Vienna's beliefs. They ask about the limits of religious freedom in certain situations, such as when one's beliefs can harm others or undermine social order. Vienna felt challenged to answer these questions wisely.

Maya, who supported Vienna as a member of the team, also gave strong arguments in support of their views. He talks about how religion is a source of inspiration for many people in society, and how limiting religious freedom can be detrimental to the spiritual development of individuals.

The debate continued with an increasingly heated exchange of arguments. The atmosphere in the classroom grew increasingly tense, but Vienna and Maya remained calm in dealing with it. They know that this debate is an opportunity to express their views and give their classmates a better understanding of the importance of religious freedom and tolerance.

When the debate time ended, the class became silent for a moment. Most of his classmates were still considering the arguments that had been put forward. Vienna and the Maya may not have succeeded in changing everyone's views, but they feel that they have made a meaningful contribution to this debate.

After the debate, Vienna and Maya sit together in the campus cafeteria, pondering about their experiences. Although the debate was challenging, they felt that this was an important step on their spiritual journey. They also know that they must remain open to listening to the views of others and continue to deepen their understanding of religion.

Their journey to face exams on campus involves not only an academic struggle, but also a struggle to defend their religious values in a diverse world. With each other's confidence and support, they were ready for the trials ahead.

After the first session of the debate ended, Vienna and Maya realized that they needed to discuss their strategies for the next debate session. They want to explain their views more wisely and calmly, while still maintaining their religious values. With a strong determination, they sat together to plan their approach.

Maya begins to speak, "Vienna, we know that this debate is about expressing our views wisely, not about winning arguments. We must remain focused on our central message of religious freedom and tolerance."

Vienna agreed. "Yes, Maya. We should not get caught up in emotions or feel offended if there are sharp questions or comments. We must respond calmly and wisely."

They begin to formulate strategies to deal with questions that their classmates might ask. They talk about how they can respond to questions about the limitations of religious freedom in certain situations, such as when one's beliefs can be detrimental to others.

Maya gives the idea, "We can refer to our religious values that teach about compassion, peace, and tolerance. We can explain that religions teach these principles and that religious freedom should not be used as an excuse to harm others."

They talked about how they could use their religious knowledge to respond to those questions. Vienna notes, "We can quote our relevant verses or religious teachings. That'll give our argument additional power."

Maya adds, "But we must do it with great respect, without feeling that our religion is better than others. We just want to convey the message that religion is a source of peace and wisdom for many."

After careful discussion, Vienna and Maya felt better prepared for the next debate session. They know that they will face sharp questions and perhaps strong disagreements, but they are confident that they can undergo debate calmly, wisely, and respectfully with each other.

As they walk into class for their next debate session, they feel confident with their new approach. They are prepared to express their views on religious freedom wisely and without neglecting their religious values.

Before the second session of the debate began, Vienna felt the need to take a moment to pray and reflect. He understood that times like these were opportunities to draw closer to God and ask for His guidance in the face of challenges to come. He wanted to seek a deeper closeness with God in this moment.

Vienna places a small prayer mat in a quiet corner of the classroom. With a solemn heart, he sat on the prayer mat and began his prayer. He contemplates the majesty of God and asks for His guidance in the face of the coming debate.

He spoke in his heart, "O Allah, I know that all I have and all I have achieved is thanks to Your grace and power. I don't want to just talk to win arguments, but I want to deliver the right message and seek the truth. Guide me in every word I say, and keep my heart low and full of affection. I seek closeness to You in everything I do. Amen."

Vienna felt a tremendous closeness to God as she prayed. He felt His presence so close, as if God was listening to his every word and feeling attentively. It felt like he was talking to a friend who was most familiar.

During the prayer, a quiet and bright classroom atmosphere enveloped him. The afternoon sun illuminated the windows, creating a beautiful shadow on the alphabet. A gentle breeze infiltrated through the window, rubbing his face and giving him a sense of calmness. All the elements of the surrounding nature seem to be part of the majesty of God present in his prayer.

After finishing the prayer, Vienna felt full of serenity and confidence. He knew that, although the debate session would be a difficult test, he would not be alone. He felt God was always with him, giving him strength and guidance in the face of every challenge.

Vienna rose from her alphabet with a hopeful heart and walked to class to face the second session of debate. Maya looked at the calm expression on her face and asked, "How are you feeling, Vienna?"

Vienna smiled, "I feel good, Maya. I felt close to God in my prayer. It gives me peace."

Maya nodded in understanding, "That's great, Vienna. We'll get through this debate together and stay true to our values."

With confidence and closeness to God, Vienna and Maya prepared to face the second session of the debate with passion and determination to deliver their message wisely and compassionately.
