First Drop of Vienna Water Wudhu
A Burning Longing

One night inside the magnificent house of the Viennese family, the quiet atmosphere felt so heavy. The luxurious chandelier light in the living room creates a reflection of the rays on the smooth marble surface. Vienna sat among her parents on a soft sofa, her face reflecting deep indecision. His heart was full of yearning to deepen the religion he had, but he felt the need to express his feelings to his parents.

"Dad, Mother," he muttered slowly, almost sounding as if his voice would disturb the peace of the room. His parents, Malik and Aisha, looked at each other, not knowing how they should respond.

Malik, a successful man in the business world, looks serious in his expensive black suit. He rarely engages in talks about religion and prefers to focus on wealth and material success. On the other hand, Aisha, an elegant woman with a veil that is always neat, is not too involved in religious talk and prefers to follow the social lifestyle they have.

Vienna continued, though doubt still haunted him. "Have we ever really talked about religion, about the meaning of our lives? I feel like there's something missing in our lives."

Malik replied cautiously, "Vienna, you know that we have always respected our religion. We have Islam in our ID cards, and we always attend important religious events."

Aisha nodded in agreement, "You should know, dear, that we love our religion. But life is also about the pursuit of happiness and success."

Vienna felt that their words did not really answer his question. He felt increasingly isolated in a life filled with luxuries but with no deep meaning. He tried to explain his deep feelings, "But Father, Mother, have we ever really practiced our daily religious teachings? Have we ever really known God?"

Malik and Aisha both felt stunned by Vienna's sharp question. They were unable to avoid the discomfort creeping between them. Malik glanced out the window, looking at the ever-empty garden and lacking in care. The dead trees in the garden looked pitiful, reflecting the emptiness within them.

Aisha, always more sensitive to the feelings of her children, tries to convince Vienna. "Honey, maybe this is the right time for us to get closer to our religion. Maybe we can figure out a way to understand and practice the teachings of Islam better."

Vienna was relieved to hear her mother's words, but she also felt that this trip would be a great challenge for her family. The atmosphere of the room that initially felt so luxurious, now felt heavier as unanswered questions hung in the air. But Vienna felt that she had laid the foundation for a change in her life, and she would not back down.

The next day, after a questionable evening from Vienna, the atmosphere in the family home was still tense. Malik and Aisha feel the need to understand further the drastic changes in their daughter's life. They sat in the living room, their faces reflecting deep confusion and concern.

Malik opened the conversation in a worried tone, "Aisha, we have to find out more about what happened with Vienna. I really don't understand the change."

Aisha nodded in agreement, "I also feel that way. Maybe there's something going on at school or with his friends that we don't know."

They decided to talk to Viennese friends to find out more about what was going on in his life. They contacted some close Viennese friends who often came to the house.

The first friend they contacted was Sarah, a Viennese friend from childhood. They pick up Sarah at her house and sit in their elegant living room. The view outside the window shows a usually deserted and abandoned garden, withered trees like reflecting the uncertainty within that family.

Malik gently asked, "Sarah, do you know what happened to Vienna? He talked about religion and the meaning of life, and it was very different from before."

Sarah looked at them with a puzzled expression, "I also felt that it was very strange. Vienna suddenly became very serious and attended religious classes at the mosque. He also began to read many books on Islam."

Aisha replaces, "We want to know if she's talking about this to her friends or if there's something we might miss."

Malik nodded, feeling increasingly worried about the changes that were taking place in Vienna. After talking to Sarah, they contacted other Vienna friends, but the results were the same - no one knew exactly what happened with Vienna and why she was so changed.

When they return home, they sit together in a living room that provides no comfort at all. Malik's face reflected his confusion, while Aisha felt anxious. They feel trapped in a situation they do not understand.

Malik finally said what came to his mind, "Aisha, maybe we need to talk to Vienna directly. Maybe he'll tell us what's going on in his life."

Aisha nodded, "I agree. We have to figure out what's on his mind and how we can support him in this change."

However, in both of their hearts, questions about the changes in Vienna's life remain unanswered. The atmosphere inside their house, although luxurious, was increasingly tense and burdensome. But they know that they must seek answers to understand what is going on with their daughter who is deepening in her religion.

One sunny afternoon, as the sun began to sink behind the trees surrounding their home, Malik and Aisha decided to confront Vienna about the changes they had noticed in her life. They sat together in the living room that felt so elegant, but at this moment the atmosphere inside was tense.

Vienna, sitting among her parents, felt a tension in the air. He tried to stay calm and explain his feelings clearly. "Dad, Mother," he began cautiously, "I want to talk about what's been going on in my life lately. I felt that I had to go deeper into our religion."

Malik and Aisha looked at each other, they felt doubtful and uncomfortable. Malik tries to find the right words, "Vienna, we always respect our religion. We attend important religious events and celebrate religious holidays. But why do you feel the need to deepen it even further?"

Vienna tried to explain, "Dad, Mom, I feel like something is missing in our lives. We live in luxury, but I feel emptiness. I want to know more about Islam, about the meaning of our lives, and about how to draw closer to Allah."

Aisha was worried, "But Vienna, what are you looking for in religion? We already have everything."

Vienna tried to explain her deep feelings, "Mother, Father, I want this life to have a deeper meaning than just worldly luxuries and pleasures. I want to live my life according to the teachings of our religion."

Malik shook his head, "Vienna, you are still very young. Maybe this is just a phase that will pass. We have to focus on material success and make sure you have a bright future."

Vienna was disappointed by the reaction of her parents who tended to shy away from the topic of religion. He felt like they were not really listening to him. "But Father, Mother, I feel this is a calling in my heart. I want to know God better and live according to His teaching."

The meeting continued with an increasingly tense atmosphere. Vienna tries to explain her wishes more clearly, but Malik and Aisha continue to feel anxious and unsure about the change she is seeking.

Their body movements and facial expressions reflect discomfort. Malik stared out the window, trying to ponder Vienna's words. Aisha feels uncertainty in herself, finding it hard to accept the sudden change in her daughter's life.

Eventually, Vienna felt increasingly isolated in the family she loved but did not understand the change she was seeking. The meeting ended with an atmosphere of tension and discomfort, and uncertainty about what would happen next. The atmosphere inside their luxurious home, which was supposed to provide comfort, now felt even more burdensome.
