First Drop of Vienna Water Wudhu
Unity in Little Happiness

The card game continues with laughter and jokes in the increasingly warm medical tent. They shared funny stories about their medical experiences in Palestine, which were often full of unexpected moments.

Noura began to tell me, "You know, I had an emergency operation with the help of a flashlight and some simple equipment when the power went out. It was a difficult experience, but our patient managed to survive."

Youssef followed, "I once had to take care of a man who suffered severe burns. We do not have any special equipment for the treatment of burns, but we do our best with what is available. The patient was finally cured completely."

Vienna, who are still relatively new to the team, feel inspired by their experience. "I am amazed by the dedication and courage of all of you. You are a true hero in my eyes."

They start talking about the funny moments that happen during their task. Youssef recalls the time a Palestinian child tried to speak to him in Arabic with a distinctive local accent. "I don't understand a word he said, but we both laughed together."

Noura added, "I've had street cats around medical clinics. They always come for attention when I'm busy. I feel like they're our little friends here."

Dr. Layla also shared a funny moment, "A little boy once approached and asked if I was a 'doctor from outer space.' He looked at our rather strange medical uniform and thought we were aliens. That's so adorable."

During card games and story sharing, they realized that even though they were in a situation full of risk and pressure, they had found little moments of happiness in the middle of it. Such moments not only relieve stress, but also strengthen the sense of unity and togetherness between them.

They know that when they come home, they will bring home many happy memories, even from conflict situations. They begin to feel a sense of pride in the work they have done and the support they have given each other.

As the card game ended, they sat together with a smile on their faces, feeling closer and stronger than before. They realize that in a stressful and risky life like this, small moments of happiness and support for each other are precious treasures. They are prepared for the bigger challenges that may come, because they know that they are a strong team and united in their goal to help Palestinians in need.

After playing cards and sharing stories, the atmosphere inside the medical tent became warmer and brighter. The dimly lit battery lights lit up their faces, creating an atmosphere full of familiarity. They feel closer to each other, as a team that has shared many experiences together during their humanitarian work in Palestine.

Vienna looked around the medical tent and felt the warmth flowing between them. "I couldn't be more grateful for your support and friendship. We're an amazing team, and I'm proud to be a part of this."

Noura added, "When we feel tired or overwhelmed, we can always rely on each other. That's our strength."

Youssef smiled and raised the remaining small cup of coffee, "Let's raise the glass for our togetherness and for everyone we've helped. May we continue to provide assistance and hope to the Palestinians."

Together they lifted up their cups, and in a meaningful silence, they celebrated their unity and focused their minds on their mission.

As they finished their coffee, Youssef stood up and spoke excitedly, "We may be in the middle of a war, but we have also found a moment of happiness and warmth here. It's something we shouldn't forget, even in stressful times like this."

Vienna felt its spirit grow bigger. "You're right, Youssef. We must not forget why we are here. We are there to provide help and hope to the Palestinians in need, and we will continue to fight for that."

Noura nodded in agreement, "I want to see Palestinian children grow up and live in peace, happy, and healthy. That's what we're working on here."

Dr. Layla added, "Our spirit is a source of strength. I believe that we can make a difference here."

They talk about their plans for the next day, about patients who still need treatment, and about the humanitarian projects they are planning. Although they know that the challenges are still ahead, they feel stronger and united in their determination to help the Palestinians.

As the night continues, they gather in short prayers for their safety and the safety of the Palestinians they serve. They realized that despite being in the middle of a war, they were hope and light amidst the darkness that was engulfing.

After praying, they feel more confident and ready to face whatever may come. In a simple medical tent, amid the ongoing conflict, they find moments of happiness, togetherness and a strong spirit to continue providing medical assistance to Palestinians in need. They are an unwavering team and are ready to take on any challenge that may come their way.
