First Drop of Vienna Water Wudhu

First Drop of Vienna Water Wudhu
A Simple Party at Omar's House

That day, the sun set with a bright orange light in the sky of Palestine. Vienna arrives at the Omar family tent, which has been transformed into a simple dining room. Omar's family was busy preparing typical Palestinian dishes such as falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, and fresh pita bread. The fragrant aroma of spices and foodstuffs filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

"Welcome, Vienna!" fatima, Omar's mother, said, while welcoming Vienna with a warm embrace. "We're so glad you came to dinner with us."

Vienna smiled and thanked me. "I'm honored to have dinner with your family."

They sat around a table that had been prepared attentively. Muhammad said a short prayer before they began to eat, and then they began to eat the delicious dishes that had been prepared.

"Please try this falafel" Muhammad said, offering Vienna a plate of freshly fried falafel.

Vienna received with a smile and tasted savory falafel. "It's so delicious! I've never tried a falafel like this before."

Fatima smiled proudly. "Thank you, Vienna. I'm glad you like. We are pleased to share a typical Palestinian dish with you."

As they eat together, they begin to share stories about their life experiences in the midst of conflict. Muhammad tells how they lost their homes during the attack and how they had to rebuild from scratch. Fatima recalls a difficult time when food and water supplies were severely limited.

Omar, a cheerful child, also spoke. "Sometimes we have to hide under the table during air strikes. But now we have a new friend, Vienna, who is always there to protect us."

Vienna smiled at Omar. "You're a real hero, Omar. And I'm so lucky to be your friend."

During dinner, the stories are accompanied by laughter and smiles. They talk about their hopes for the future and their unforgettable dreams even though they are in a difficult situation.

As a dessert, they enjoy a sweet basbousa cake prepared by Fatima. "It's our favorite dessert" Fatima said with a smile. "I hope you like."

Vienna tasted the cake and smiled. "It's so delicious! I have to learn to make it someday."

After dinner, Omar and Vienna's families gathered in their modest tent. They shared even more stories, this time about happiness, resilience, and family strength.

Amidst their chatter, Omar suddenly picked up the small guitar in the corner of the tent and began to pluck the strings gently. The melodic sound he played filled the air with profound beauty.

Vienna was touched by the music Omar played. "You're very talented, Omar. How can you play music like this?"

Omar replied with a shy smile. "I learned from my sister before she left to continue her education abroad. He always taught me to play the guitar."

That night, they shared more stories and songs, creating beautiful memories. Vienna felt that she had been received with open arms by Omar's family, and she felt very fortunate to be able to share such special moments in the midst of a devastating conflict.

One afternoon, after Vienna returned from his medical duties, he found Omar playing with an old ball he had found among the ruins. Omar saw Vienna coming and invited him to join.

"Vienna, play football with me!" omar said with a bright smile.

Vienna laughed and nodded. "Sure, Omar! I'll try my best."

They both started playing football in the open area of the refugee camp. The sun slowly descended to the horizon, creating a dazzling twilight glow in the skies of Palestine. Other children from the camp also joined in the game, and Vienna felt as if she had become part of this incredible community.

"Now is a good time to stop for a moment" said Vienna, setting the ball on the side of the pitch. "Omar, can you teach me some words in Arabic? I want to learn."

Omar was willing and happy to explain a few words in Arabic to Vienna. The two of them sat on the fresh grass, chatting and learning from each other.

As the sun deteriorated further, they continued to play football until the twilight light filled the sky. The pink and orange sky scenery created a magical atmosphere, while their laughter and laughter filled the air.

As night fell, Vienna returned to the Omar family tent, where Fatima was preparing dinner. Dinner this time is a typical Palestinian dish, with dishes such as makloubeh, mansaf, and maqluba.

"I hope you like it, Vienna," Fatima said as she served the dish on the table.

Vienna smiled and thanked me. "I'll definitely like it. I was very lucky to try the typical Palestinian dishes."

The dinner was filled with talk and stories, as usual. They talk about the events of the day and the plans for tomorrow. Omar expressed interest in learning English, and Vienna was willing to help him.

"I want to learn English, Vienna" Omar said excitedly. "I heard it could help me in the future."

Vienna gladly agreed. "Of course, Omar. I'll be your English teacher. We can start tomorrow."

That night, Omar and Vienna had their first English lesson. They chatted about basic words, uttered simple phrases, and laughed together when one of them made a mistake. Their relationship grew closer, as they shared their knowledge and culture with each other.

As time passed, Vienna and Omar not only became friends, but also teachers and students of each other. They grow together, learn from each other about their lives, and form strong bonds that transcend cultural and linguistic differences.

Every day they spend time together, they feel that they are not only giving each other a lesson, but also learning about brotherhood, resilience, and the sense of community, and unity that arises in the midst of difficult conflicts.
