Zeeta and the Wizarding World

Zeeta and the Wizarding World
Those Who Cursed the World

Zeeta Alter let herself lie on the ground on her back. Not completely recumbent, but slightly curved with his current condition. With the sky being clouded by the smoke from the previous explosion, it somehow brought him to remember something in his home world.

In his memory, Alter who had lost his strength and had black hair, was talking to Luna. They were in the middle of the grave, under the overcast sky.

"Hey, Luna.... I must have let you down, didn't I?"

"Even so, you still have to complete your task. I believe you can do it. I'll leave you alone first."

Alter didn't answer anything. He just looked down and did not turn his head towards Luna who was in her mini fox mode. He preferred to stare at the sculpted name in front of him, Edward and Ella Levant.

"We believe Big Brother can definitely do this! Fight on!"

Alter could still remember vividly when his cousins encouraged him with a smile that was plain and very bright. Because of them, Alter gained the strength and confidence to continue to survive even though he had lost the power of his Moon.

He then remembered that when he was eight years old, he had met his ancestor named Clarissa. The ancestor told me a lot about three hundred years ago, but that was all. Why would he show himself if he only wanted to tell the past? What does that have to do with an Alter?

"BABY!!" Alter hit the ground so hard that he fouled himself. Shortly thereafter, heavy rain fell on him. No one knew she was crying so much. The rumbling sound of lightning and the rushing water managed to cover his cries.

[POV News.]

I realized then, even though it was too late. My ancestral story from three hundred years ago is a message that states, "We have made a mistake and since you are his successor, correct the mistake."

At least, that's what I think.

Of course I know how mischievous the Elves are and gradually know that the Elves have also intervened in my ancestors' mistakes.

But that doesn't change anything.

During my travels in this world of Zeeta, it was true that I knew a lot of new things about my ancestors, but that was to be expected. They are human, just like me. They made a mistake and regretted it.

However, one of the most significant differences I have made in this world was when Flare and his group were killed.

Before changing it, what happened was that only Ars died from the fear of Flare and his group when the Garm Dragon, Giant, and Feline approached them. In other words, Gala not only took revenge on those magical creatures, but also on the people who were supposed to trust her and protect the figure that would become the next generation.

I continued to wander in the time of my ancestors who were directly related to the reason I could be burdened with this very heavy burden. Some of them have a sweet end to life, some are tragic like Gala. All of those journeys led me to an ancestor named Orion. He was a man with a large muscular body like a bear and the woman he loved, Artemis. The girl he loved died at the hands of his comrades in arms. They stab from behind on the grounds that Artemis is the bearer of doom. All the misfortunes, even Ragnarok that will befall them, must be because of him, for he has a horn and a different one.

That horn is proof he has the power of Ifrit. His form is similar when Zeeta borrows his powers. But, at that time, no one cared what Ifrit was, what the Ancient Spirit was, or even the Moon's power, Orion. Their reasons are understandable, but what I don't understand is Orion.

After being betrayed, he kept fighting for them, saving many lives, and did not stop receiving scathing condemnations, which considered him a monster that possessed the form of a Human.

The lowest point was when Ragnarok arrived. It was not Jormungand who posed a threat to Orion, but Nidhogg and Sephiroth. They show him the worst nightmare, where Artemis is revived, and forced to fight with her. In the end, Orion killed Artemis with his own hands.

If that was the case, he might still survive.

Orion and Artemis had a daughter, but her figure was always hidden. The people who had always betrayed him, seduced him and offered him to Nidhogg and Sephiroth.

Swallowed by a great anger and thinking Yggdrasil was not a tree of life at all, he destroyed it. The moon turned as red as blood and he made a pact with Seele.

"This world of rotten magic doesn't need to continue anymore. However, to make that happen is not an easy thing. I know Yggdrasil saw me talking to you guys and keep this in mind.

"My successors in the next thousand years will destroy you. Man, magical creature, Earth. Later he will realize that even the tree of life will not care about the lives of Humans who have sacrificed their lives for the balance he thinks is needed.

"You think how many of my ancestors died because of this unreasonable difference in power and responsibility?

"We hold fast to Gala's words that we can live side by side, but in fact many of my ancestors, even myself, were betrayed and continue to be betrayed.

"I don't know with what or what my successor will destroy this world, but I'm sure he will be betrayed just like us. By those whom he regarded as associates and by those who had previously exalted him, and those whom he trusted most.

"Until that time comes, I will provide temporary calm for you evenly. The world is in your hands. I am the one who now commands you to obey, Yggdrasil."

I don't care about them anymore, because I destroyed the world, just like Orion said. However, only one question remained before I decided to do all this.

"What is the meaning of my life?"

I live to make amends for the mistakes my ancestors made. I was born to take the world out of the end of its life. All the betrayals I experienced led me to a very boiling rage.

I've frozen my dream to be a chef. That dream I no longer care about.

When the time came, I told them I wanted to take off the curse of this world, which is magic, unfortunately everyone tried to stop me. This is the only way that the world can be saved, but they don't want the power to be let go.

Is there hope in this world?

Is love really real?

My heart was already too rusty and broken to realize or even care about it.

I knew about Orion after all that happened.

That's why....

Zeeta ... rather than suffer like this, charged with the responsibility of saving the world, the girl— I— I decided not to be born in this world as a "savior" by tweaking the flow of time.

But who would have thought....

If my actions backfire on me and take me to see what I really want to see.

The smiles of Edward and Ella, the solidity of my friendship with Danny and Gerda, the trust of Luna, the Elves who consider me the only Human worthy of respect, all that I see in this world.

However, that decision....

I can't take it.

I didn't manage to get him born in this world, but I managed to make a sweet change around him. Nevertheless, the world still forces me— a Zeeta— to save him. Hugo's words to Reina were right. Changing the flow of time can be done, but the current cannot be controlled exactly as desired. It could be appropriate, it could be worse, or there is no change at all.

The world that wants him as a savior has not changed. The world that weighs on a Zeeta has not changed. However, Zeeta still wants to finish it all.

Tskc.

I want this world to end without having to involve a Zeeta. I don't care if it's another Aurora from the next generation or who can fulfill the world's wishes, but I don't want Zeeta to feel everything I've felt.

Even if it means I have to bring destruction to the world once more, I will gladly do so!

......................

Alter woke up conspicuously. He drops a meteor that is much larger than Ella's previous attack. It caused the Earth to rumble not only from its inhabitants, but the Earth itself as well.

Edward was bluffing his teeth and exerting all his strength in the magic he was about to shoot from both hands. "If I am indeed a descendant of the power of the Sun that can only help the power of the Moon on the verge of world destruction, then I know I can definitely do this!"

Seeing her older brother's determination a few minutes from her it brought Ella a similar decision.

The two posed the same with a distance a bit far apart. When he was about to shoot his magic....

"Never focus on what's in front of you!"

Alter's voice shocked them, but a moment later they were forced to the ground by a pull on the leg. Its form is a collection of corpses of magical beings revived by Alter.

Soon, everyone heard the breaking sound of a very loud glass— Tofrahnottur. It was finally shattered by the immensely powerful pressure from the tsunami that Alter created. When everyone was shocked, gaping, confused about what to do, Alter smiled broadly. But....

"You too, Zeeta. Don't stick to your goal!"

Azure's voice was unexpected by Alter, where their position was suddenly flipped easily by the three people. "W-how are you guys—?!"
