Still in itself in the middle of the cave containing bright red crystals, Marcus still sat curled up—galau about what he was going through now.
“Not long after what happened back then..” Inner Marcus, who recalled the flashbacks in his life, “kingdom experienced uncontrollable chaos—cause of the disappearance of Queen Scarlet into the Black Portal. The major nobles were preoccupied by their need to solve the problem, for a year.
“In those days, Princess Alicia, had married a famous high-class noble, Hazell Levant, and was pregnant with her baby. Even for them, finding a solution to the disappearance of the Scarlet Queen also seemed impossible.
“A lot of chaos that enslaved at that time—where one of them was a public protest that doubted the ability of the main nobles.

In Ashley's den, Marcus is welcome to sit on the long couch. He looked around and found an anggora cat at the table—right in front of Ashley who was sitting behind him—facing the window. The cat slept well.
“Marcus McGroovey..” Ashley said, “do you know why I call you this four-eyes?”
“Ti-no, Mistress..,” replied Marcus quietly.
Replying to her answer, Ashley let out a long sigh. He then stood up, then showed two strips of paper— that contained a photo of Marcus and Colette on each of the papers. Marcus who saw it, did not realize that the two had been spied on.
“Since this little girl named Samantha Colette has dared herself to confront Alexandrita, people have become more and more courageous to express their opinions on what is happening in the kingdom.
"If the background and all the information we've got about you aren't that special, still.... You understand what that means?”
“Uhhh Marcus tried to understand carefully. “Ka-we will be punished for being presumptuous...?”.
Ashley scoffed at it. “Fufu....

“Hahahaha!”
Ashley's laughter made Marcus even more nervous.
“Nyo-Mrs Ashley...?” Marcus had no idea what was happening.

“Of course we won't do it!

“E-eh..?” Marcus is getting confused.
Ashley sat down again and explained. “This kingdom has for too long been subject to the fear and discrimination of magic from the nobles.
“I understand the anger of son Colette, but we can not arbitrarily change the system—even with the power of Queen Scarlet though. This government needs a turmoil of change, to welcome a future that not many people will think of.
“I mean, in short, for the future to come soon, this kingdom must change, and you are the trigger!”
Marcus has never seen Ashley, though the kingdom is still full of question marks as to why the Scarlet Queen could be lost. But, his statements about him included as a trigger for changes to the kingdom, prompting him to present questions. “Why me too? The one who confronted Alexandrita's entourage was not me..”.
Ashley then stood up, approaching him. Marcus was shocked when Ashley reached out.
“You are the person we—not—I need in my squad.”
Marcus immediately heard it.
“The future I said earlier,” continued Ashley, “most likely is the hardest time the government will feel. I can't tell you why I said it yet, but someday, if you're able to show real evidence, ‘ I'll open the secret.
“I need people who do not fall easily in hope and motivation and always face forward and keep going forward. Although your age is young, your potential is very good and I want you to join me, for the future, in serving the Queen and her Daughter.
“However, that does not mean you will be privileged, because there are still many others that I will recruit.”
Marcus snarled for a moment. This was a dream come true for him. His life was once saved by this noble in front of him and from then on he became his life purpose. However, he was still in a dilemma. Is he able to leave Colette alone.. with a noble family who always drain all their energy?
Ashley realizes Marcus' concern. He then said, “It's hard for you, isn't it, when you're six years old, to lose both parents to magical creatures.
“If only then we could come faster...”.
Marcus was getting shocked. “A-A-You remember that? The accident that happened four years ago?!”
Marcus' brown eyes instantly sparkled. But, his sense of dilemma back to attack— made the binarnya instantly dimmed. “A-I appreciate your invitation, Mistress, but I ... can't leave Colette...”.
“Then convince him.”

“Alicia will change many things in this kingdom and will definitely make everyone smile evenly. You think we, especially Alicia herself, never realized what the people felt?

Mintia understood that the “friend” she called, was Mellynda. “Haah He took a short breath.

“ADUH!” erang Novalius, who was hit on the back by Mintia. “Why did you do that?!”
“Take it easy. You are a stupid human being. No need to deny it.”

“Hmm?” Mintia finally realized that Marcus was already standing crossed arms with a grin.
“Thank you both,” Marcus said, “thanks to you, I had an idea to pass through that Phantasmal.”
