Zeeta and the Wizarding World

Zeeta and the Wizarding World
The Night Before the Storm (2/2)

Marcus, age eighteen, was one of the soldiers of Grand Duchess Alexandrita's army. He had just entered his second year of swearing allegiance to Alexandrita.

Alexandrita was a noble family that she had so longed for. It is a matter of pride for her if Grand Duchess Ashley remembers her name. Tonight was the most exciting night for him. The Grand Duchess has returned to being herself whom she has always admired, let alone being given a special mission directly from her idol, precisely an impromptu mission to give a message to the Princess. He was curious as to whether the Princess who would later lead this matrinial kingdom.

After hearing the conversation and beginning to understand the situation that Zeeta is in, the Princess, Marcus is determined to help her Master Daughter with all his strength. His smile was so precious, anyone who got his smile would definitely feel happy, that was how he thought. Not only that, Marcus also saw for himself how powerful Zeeta's mana was. He can cure the eleven year old girl's condition in a flash—which for the nobility though, it drains no little mana.

The Princess who was before him at this moment also made Marcus aware of something. Although he was only a child ten years younger than him, his way of commanding charisma and he was happy to serve him.

Being a subordinate of the nobility who serves directly the royal family as well as trusted by the Princess who continues to try with all her abilities, it was a great honor for Marcus and he would not betray the hopes of the two most important nobles in the country.

“By the way Marcus, how did you come here? I heard to myself that if the small town next door had been brainwashed by Rowing, there was no way you could have come here unharmed." Zeeta asked.

“Ah, about that. I was sent by Mrs Alexandrita with her teleportation magic,” replied Marcus. He had unlocked his cell padlock with the key that the guard had given him earlier.

“Hmm... teleportation, huh? Can you tell me how Alexandrita's residence is?”

“Z-Zee... don't tell me you...?” Azure guessing.

Zeeta grinning. “Kakak's right. I'll teleport Marcus back.” Zeeta answered her like there was no burden on her.

“Tu-wait a minute, Princess! Are you sure you'll use your magic for a guy like me? Please save your mana for a crucial moment!” exclaimed Marcus, who refused to trouble his Master Daughter—and certainly not out of fear. Of course it wasn't.

“No, I don't mind at all. I used to help people in my village with the magic I could. In addition ... I also like being whispered by someone valuable to me in order to keep helping people.” Zeeta touches her full moon earrings with her fingers. “Quickly, we have no time to continue arguing here!”

“Ba-good!” Marcuspun tells Zeeta in detail a picture of Alexandrita's residence. To make it easier for Zeeta to clean up, he gave her a pinpoint in Ashley's den.

“Hmm. So. Alright!” Zeeta who has got the clear picture does the same with Ashley to teleport Marcus.

The blue light came dazzling the Azure and Zeeta views of Marcus' body. Both had to close their eyes a little. When the light was gone, Marcus wasn't where he stood before.

“You did it?” ask Azure.

“Entah.” Zeeta walks out of Azure to get out of prison.

Azure caught up with Zeeta, then asked, “Eh? Why are you so relaxed? What if you're in the wrong place?”

“My father was always noisy about my imaginative foresight so that the magic I cast did not fail, so I can say with confidence he must have gotten to the spot. But, I can't be sure he will fall from a height or arrive safely.”

“Cih, you noble... so lightly talk about magic..,” Azure murmur, which sounded to Zeeta's ears. Zeeta stops, then apologizes.

“I'm just acting like the old me. So, if I make you angry I'm sorry.” Zeeta looked down at her head.

“Ah... ahahahaha!” Zeeta laughing. That laugh made Azure glow red.

“Ke-why are you laughing? What's so funny?!”

“It turns out Brother Azure has a cute side too, yeah! I thought you could only be as fierce as your actions on Marcus!” Zeeta smiled broadly.

“Nosy basics.” Azure hits Zeeta's head slowly.

......................

When Zeeta and Azure reached the main courtyard of Rowing's residence, what had been waiting for her was not in their plan. Dozens of soldiers and Bastanil who were in the front row had brandished their weapons and magic.

“What are you doing, Bastanil?!” Azure did not expect that Bastanil would brandish his magic to their Princess. In response, Azure also prepared a purple mana granule in his hand.

“What am I doing? Hahaha. Do you think I'll just shut up after the Grand Duchess breaks our barrier and is on her way here?!” his laughter was not filled with any pleasure at all. Shortly after, he glared at Zeeta and pointed at her.

"Mommy's magic teacher? Is he here?!" inner Zeeta, who found another glimmer of hope.

“Hey, fake nobles!” Bastanil Jokes. “Use your magic to lift the commoner's magic curse from my parents!” Bastanil pointed to Azure.

Zeeta held her breath so she could calm down. “I can do it," he replied as he walked closer to Bastanil. “On condition, I will negotiate with Mr. Garren.”

“Ho?” bastanil's forehead puckered next to. “Negotiation, you say?” Bastanil closed his eyes for a moment. “Soldiers, lower your weapons." He ruled while raising his right hand.

“Do not do that!” a voice was heard by Zeeta. At the same time, the wind blew through the trees and plants that were there.

“Who is it!?” turn to Zeeta who turns left and right.

“A-what's up, Zee?” Azure is worried. Meanwhile, Zeeta sees no one making a sound.

“Ti-no... I only hear the sound...”.

“Heh. Fake noble base. At least it's just the spirits or ghosts of the dirty village people like the kid over there that I just burned, you don't need to think about, you weirdo," Bastanil said.

“What did you say?!” Azure is about to attack Bastanil. Bastanil appears wary of him, but Zeeta is blocking Azure.

“Peace, Brother Azure.” Zeeta's serious mimic makes Azure calm down. "I can handle this."

“Who was that voice..?” the lost inner Zeeta finds the answer.
