The Unforgettable Story
Section 57

To please her son, Kirana cooks spaghetti meatballs and prepares lettuce that night. William ate with gourmand. She even asked for her mother's part when she saw Kirana not spending her part. Kirana could not stop thinking how she should tell him about the service trip.

When he found no other way, he chose to tell the truth. The news would hurt him, but he had no other way out. He had to go alone and William could not go with him for this time.

“In your opinion, can you sleep without me reading a storybook to you for two nights?” kirana asked as she placed the glass filled with drinking water on the table. William raised his head. Her mother smiled and cleaned the ketchup on her cheek with a tissue.

“You accomplished, Mom? Its alright. I also achieved. I can go straight to sleep. You do not need to read stories to me.” William said understanding. Kirana smiled sadly.

“How about dinner instead of me cooking? Do you still want to eat?” ask Kirana slowly. William's eyes were round with pleasure.

“Piza? I want!” cheers happy. Kirana laughs. Every time he doesn't cook it means they'll order food from one of his favorite restaurants.

“Iya. You can order pizza.” Kirana. William began to fantasize about it while lifting a fork full of spaghetti into his mouth. Even while enjoying her favorite food, she can still think of her other favorite foods.

“I want more pepperoni later, also more meat.” the door. Kirana smiled.

“If I don't sleep at home for two nights this weekend, will you be okay?” ask Kirana again. That last question made William stare at his mother for so long.

“Mom,” William wrapped his hands around Kirana's waist. “Have I done anything wrong? Did I make you sad? I'm sorry, Mom. I'm not gonna do it again. I love you, Mom, all my heart.”

“No, sweetheart. There's nothing to forgive. You're a good boy.” Kirana stroked her hair and kissed her. “I have to go for two nights this weekend. I went on Friday and went home on Sunday night. There's work I have to do.”

“Why can't I come with you?” isaac William. Kirana's chest started to feel tight. “You always go with me, Mom. Always was. Why can't I come this time?”

“Can't, Will. If it's for a vacation, I'll gladly take you with me. But I can't possibly take you on a job. I can't eat, watch, swim, or play with you.” He tried to explain it as simply as possible.

“But this Sunday is my birthday, Mom.” protests William half crying.

“I've bought your card. I didn't forget. I promise I won't forget to buy your favorite cupcake.” he said reassuring his son.

“You can leave me here alone? You serious? I'm not even five years old yet, Mom.”. In her heart, Kirana cursed Miles with various kinds of accidents in order to befall him immediately. He hated when he had to see his son cry this much.

“Of course you won't stay alone. Miss Helen will accompany you as long as I am not around.” she told me. Kirana let her son cry for a while. They wouldn't be able to talk if he was still crying like this.

He also needs to find the right sentence to ask for his understanding. Not only his son, he was also difficult to decide this. Although Helen was a person they knew, she could not fully trust William in her tutelage. Handing her over for a few hours at the daycare was clearly much different from entrusting her for three days and two nights to someone else.

“Of course can.” He easily allowed it.

“Banana split?” ask again. Kirana narrowed her eyes.

“Bby.” the answer is full of suspicion.

“Hamburger?” ask William expectantly. Kirana prepared to refuse when her son still added, “Mom, you will leave your son for three days. You have to make her happy for her to answer yes.”

“Will, you know that you can't eat all that in three days in a row.” repel Kirana with a heavy sigh. “Remember, fast food is not healthy for your body. It's healthier if I cook all that food for you. I promise I'll cook your favorite meal when I'm here again.”

“Oke.” William relented. “Are you going to call me?”

“I'll call you every morning and night.” promise her mother. William sighed full of drama.

“Good. You can go. But should be back on Sunday night.” threatened William. Kirana gave a sigh of relief.

“I'll be home on Sunday night. Thank you very much, dear.” Kirana wrapped her hands around her son's small body.

“Will.” protest William. Kirana rolled her eyeballs. But he was happy that everything had returned to normal.

“Thank you very much, Will.” he said according to.

“I'll miss you, Mom.” William tightened his embrace. Kirana smiled.

“I'll miss you too.”

Before going to bed, William helped his mother pack clothes into a small suitcase. He even entered one book to be read by his mother over the phone. He also chose what clothes his mother should wear during those three days. As she put in a nightgown, Kirana quietly took it out again. He can't carry that kind of clothes. That would give the wrong signal to his Romeo.

Romeo. It was as if they would live in the same room. He told me they would sleep in different rooms. It was a relief. But he felt a subtle rejection when he heard Miles say it this afternoon. The man had kissed her repeatedly. Did he read the sign wrong? Maybe the guy doesn't want it anymore.

No, no, no. He could not hope that they would get back together again. They have no relationship whatsoever. Well, he proposed, but Kirana had rejected him. How could she possibly talk about marriage when they had just met again after so many years of separation? Miles pushed her away with his enthusiastic attitude. At the same time, the man attracted his attention so strongly that he could not resist it.

He should be careful when they are in Singapore. Kirana had to avoid it as far as she could. He fell so easily at their first meeting in the past. Can he refuse that guy for two nights they're together? No. gabe. The correct question was did he want to reject the man's charm? Geez, he's really pathetic. He rejects the man with his thoughts when on the other side of his body craves his touch.
