The Three Chosen

The Three Chosen
45. Dreams Are Real

After completing his search, Faiq helped awaken Harti. A few moments later, Warti also woke up with a sweaty body. Then Hanako gave drinking water to Harti who immediately gulped it down to the toilet.

Seeing the mother in good condition, Wawan smiled then closed the Qur’an he read and immediately approached Warti.

“ Mother gapapa right..?” ask Wawan.

“ Mother gapapa, just tired Nak..,” said Warti.

“ Mother was possessed by a mirror-dwelling creature so her body feels all pain..,” Hanako explained.

“ What did I see or Ibu Rasain earlier.?” ask Wawan curious.

Warti paused for a moment and tried to remember what he was going through. Then Warti said what he saw and felt in a state possessed by the subtle creature earlier.

“ Mom squirms nice house, lots of waiters, everyone looks down with respect to Mom. And I also saw a man who looked like the late Mr. Kamu Wan. But the man is not loyal, he cheated on other women.

Mom was angry and upset. I also saw the sneeze there.” said Warti while pointing at the black mirror that was not far from him.

“ Continue what else Bu...?” wawan asked impatiently.

“ I saw the man who looks like your late father is again the same new family. Mom is sad but can't do anything. I also saw a golden sheet behind the mirror. Keep on.., keep on.., there's a fire. I panicked because I was surrounded by fire. I don't know why I have to hold the mirror, but there is still a chance to survive. Tau-tau all dark...,” says Warti sad.

After finishing the story, Warti's eyes look glassy. She thought that her late husband had become a double and had children with other women. Understanding what Warti felt, Faiq explained.

“ Which Bu Warti saw it was not his Father Wawan..,” said Faiq firmly.

“ Is Right Sir. The man looked very much like the late Husband I..,” said Warti with a voice choked in the throat.

“ He is the Father of his Grandfather Wawan..” said Faiq to make Warti sigh in relief.

“ Kok I can go into the Buyutnya Wawan all Pak.?” tanya Warti doesn't mean.

“ Look Mom, this mirror-dwelling creature is the legal wife of the Wawan Buyutnya named Haryoko. Woman

her name is Queen, she is beautiful as her name. But he has a proud and arrogant nature. The queen likes to underestimate others and that makes Haryoko upset. Haryoko gets no comfort with the Queen and chooses to marry another woman named Harni and have a son. The Queen knows her husband has a new family but can't do anything about it because he's aware of all his faults. When I saw Haryoko's son, the Queen didn't hate him. The Queen loved him like her own biological child and intended to give all her property to her stepson later if he died.” Faiq said.

“ His heart is very noble, I am not necessarily able to be rich that way..,” said Warti moved.

“ So is Mom. And the fire that Miss Warti saw earlier was real. The queen died in a fire

who devoured the house with its contents. But the Queen insisted on saving the mirror where she kept the treasure she had prepared for the Haryoko Child even though she had to sacrifice her life. The queen died while hugging the mirror.” Faiq said again.

“ Inna Lillahi wainna ilaihi roji’uun..,” said Warti, Wawan Hanako and Fatur simultaneously.

“ And the Queen keeps the treasure she prepared it for the descendants of Haryoko. And Wawan is a descendant of Haryoko. As promised, the Queen will leave after he handed the property to his heir Wawan.” said Faiq to make Warti and Wawan surprised.

“ Me Om...?” wawan asked nervously and was taken by Faiq.

“ Now you take that mirror and say that you accept it sincerely..,” said Faiq.

Wawan pecked because he was afraid if he had to communicate with mirror-dwelling creatures. Warti was worried if

his son will be taken away by the mirror-dwelling creature. Seeing the fear in the eyes of the mother and child made Fatur smile.

“ You are calm, the creature will not disturb You especially You Wawan. If you hurry to do it then it means you also help him to escape from the shackles of his own oath and We can immediately take him to the place he should be.” Fatur said.

“ Opa right. You don't have to be afraid, he loves you sincerely.” Hanako added.

Wawan nodded then went forward to approach the mirror. With trembling hands Wawan touched the mirror surface. Wawan felt that there was a cool air that greeted him and he ventured to look at the black-framed mirror. Vaguely looks beautiful figure of the Queen who is smiling gently towards him and it makes Wawan surprised.

“ Don't be afraid, just continue. Say what you want to say...,” said Faiq, a Wawan-approved.

Wawan opened his eyes again and looked at the ghost of the Queen who was staring at him with teary eyes.

“ Forgive Me and my parents for making Mom suffer. I accept the legacy that you gave me. God willing I will make the most of it. Thank you Mother...,” said Wawan with a trembling voice.

The Queen's ghost looked overwhelmed. He stretched out his hand and touched Wawan's head gently. Faiq, Fatur and Hanako see if the Queen's ghost kissed Wawan's head affectionately with a smile. Before the disappearance of the Queen's ghost turned towards Faiq, Fatur and Hanako.

“ Thank you, I'll go now.” said the ghost of the Queen with a smile.

“ Well, good-bye and thank you..,” said Faiq.

The Queen's ghost nodded and her body trapped inside the mirror came out of the mirror with a white smoke. Then the smoke rose above the ceiling as if giving a final greeting to everyone in the room. A moment later the white smoke shot out through the window and left a fragrant aroma in the room.

“ He's gone...,” said Hanako Lirih, a Faiq and Fatur.

“ May Allah accept his spirit and forgive all his sins.” said Warti sincerely.

“ Aamiin...,” everyone says at the same time.

“ Keep this abis We unload this mirror right Pa..?” hanako asked enthusiastically because she was curious about the treasure that the Queen's ghost had stored in the mirror.

“ Yes Nak. Now it is Wawan's job to open the mirror and take advantage of what was passed down to him.” Faiq said.

“ We open outside. Come Wan, take that mirror out..,” take Fatur.

Everyone followed Fatur who came out of the room and headed towards the back porch of the house. Darius seemed to frown and chose to follow everyone who walked to the back porch without asking anything.

“ Unload the mirror, be careful of nails yes..,” said Fatur while thrusting a hammer, pliers and screwdriver towards Wawan.

“ Yes Opa, thank you..,” Wawan said.

Slowly Wawan began to dismantle the mirror. A little difficult but finally Wawan managed to dismantle the mirror. Everyone rounded their eyes as they looked at the golden sheet behind the mirror. A 150cm x 70cm gold sheet 2cm thick is hidden behind a mirror.

“ Thank God, this...,” speech Wawan interrupted so happy.

“ That's your right, take it..” Faiq said with a smile.

“ What will not be dangerous for Wawan Pak.?” tanya Hartin hesitated.

“ What does it mean Mom..?” ask Faiq don't understand.

“ What ghost Queen will not follow Wawan and make his life chaotic later.?” ask Warti worriedly.

“ Insya Allah gapapa Ma'am. Ghost Queen wants to make amends in the past and Wawan can help make it happen later.” said Faiq.

“ How to Sir...?” ask Warti.

“ Wawan already know how to do Mom. Because Wawan is quite mature and certainly understands how to process the heritage according to religious guidelines.” said Faiq with a smile.

“ But I also want Mr. Faiq and Mr. Fatur to help keep an eye on Wawan so that he does not mismanage the inheritance Mr...”, said Warti again while staring at Faiq and Fatur alternately.

“ Insha Allah We will help you later..,” said Faiq and Fatur together.

“ Thank God, thank you Sir..,” said Warti sincerely.

“ Both Bu....,” says Fatur.

The gold sheet was used well by Wawan. He sold the gold sheet to an honest and trustworthy goldsmith. Wawan's gold is valued at a high price because of the good quality of gold.

Afterwards Wawan used the money from the sale of gold for various purposes. One of them is to give in the name of the late Queen. Wawan channeled some money to invest in the mosque and gave compensation to several orphans. Wawan also held a lecture as an expression of gratitude at the musholla near Fatur's house because he did not want to be a gossip of citizens who did not like to see him get rezeqi.

Then Wawan also opened a chicken noodle shop because the mother really liked the menu. Wawan also brought his mother migrated from their old house to a house not far from his chicken mia kiosk. Wawan hopes that the mother can forget all the insults she received from the citizens where they lived all this time.

Warti seems happy because he can see his only child succeed in realizing all their dreams. Now they really live in a nice house, dress well and become culinary entrepreneurs. All the words of Warti when he was still living in his slum house was now proven.

Chicken noodle kiosk named ‘RAWATI’ it looks crowded visited by buyers. Initially, Harti who cooked his own chicken noodles was assisted by Wawan. After some time they seem overwhelmed and need help because of the many visitors at the stall. They hired several people to help and now the kiosk has six employees.

That afternoon Faiq invited his extended family to visit the RAWATI kiosk and enjoy chicken noodles there. Warti and Wawan are happy to welcome the arrival of Faiq and his extended family.

“ What is the name Rawati, meaning what is Bu...?” asked Hanako who was sitting next to Warti.

“ Oh it stands for Our name Nak Hana. Ra from the Queen, Wa from Wawan and Ti from Warti..,” said Warti with a proud smile.

“ We will not forget where the capital money We have from to open this kiosk business, so We pin the name of the Queen in front of Our name.” said the wawan added.

“ That's good. The characteristics of grateful people are so, always remember where their success came from.

“ Thanks for the help so far yes Opa, Om Faiq and Hanako. If you are not the one who helped maybe until this moment Me and My Mother are still scavengers..,” said Wawan with teary eyes.

“ We are only intermediaries Wan. The truth is that God gave it all for you and Ms. Warti. There is a message that We can take from the experience of the late Queen is that We should not be arrogant and forget where We came from. All are from God and will return to God. May you remain Istiqomah in kindness and remain humble, Wan..,” said Faiq while patting Wawan on the back with pride.

“ Insya Allah Om. Thank you once again...,” said Wawan who was embraced by Faiq.

“ Come on, please enjoy the menu yes. Must eat sampe satisfied and if you want to be able to add more. Relax, God willing, everything is halal and thoyib so no need to worry.” said Warti promoted.

“ Surely We ate until satisfied Bu warti..,” said Shera with a smile.

“ Yes Bu Shera. Ntar do not forget to bring also make Opa Darius at home yes.” said Warti while patting Shera's arm.

“ I want to add more can be Nek...,” said Izar suddenly.

“ Can dong, want to be packed again at home can also be Dear..,” said Warti while laughing.

“ Don't miss Mom, later ngerepotin..,” reject Shera.

“ Gapapa Ma'am, relax. We are delighted to have Mr. Faiq's family. Hopefully we can keep connecting yes Ma..,” said full Warti

expectantly.

“ Aamiin, insya Allah Bu..,” said Shera and all with a smile.

The kiosk was increasingly seen crowded with the presence of Faiq and his family that afternoon. Luckily Wawan has expanded its stall to accommodate enough visitors who always come again because of the addiction to the famous delicious food of Warti.
