372. Supplant
Upon arriving at the Faiq Hospital and Izar is greeted by Oce who accidentally waits for them in the Hospital's lobby.
“ Mas Izar..!” call Oce while waving his hand.
“ Bu Oce, why here. Where's reno..?” ask Izar.
“ Reno critical Mas. He was taken to the ER again earlier..,” said Oce with a sad mimic.
“ Critical again, how can..?” tanya Izar tek believes that because yesterday Iyaz and Izar had made sure Reno was admitted to the inpatient room before they left the Hospital.
“ Said Reno burn doctor had an infection Mas..,” sahut Oce while rubbing his wet eyes.
“ Patience Yes Mom. Now we look at Reno yuk..,” invite Izar.
“ Yes Mas..,” sahut Oce.
“ Oh yes, know this My Father Bu...,” said Izar who greeted Faiq by cupping both palms in front of the chest.
“ Greetings Sir. I'm Oce, Reno's mother. Mas Izar and Mas Iyaz have helped Me and My Son a lot
we just knew him, sir. And I'm sorry because I've made his hand bones Mas Izar cracked..,” said Oce is not feeling well.
“ Gapapa Ma'am. That's one of the risks of being a guy. I don't have that problem. So I am calm yes...,” said Faiq with a smile.
“ Thanks Sir..,” sahut Oce relieved.
“ Equally Bu....,” said Faiq then followed Izar who walked towards the ER room where Reno was treated.
Upon arriving at the ER room, Faiq and Izar could instantly catch the negative aura that enveloped Reno's body. A dense red smoke appears around his head and it indicates that Reno is in the target of the Oce demon.
Faiq and Izar rushed over to Reno who seemed to have difficulty breathing. They clasped Reno's hands to calm her down. Reno opened her eyes and shook her head. Oce could only cry watching Reno's terrible condition.
Izar brought his ear closer to Reno's mouth as he watched Reno open her mouth as if to say something.
“ To.. long keep Mami.., there are creatures ja... hat a.. kan menya.. ki... tinya...,” said Reno stammered.
“ How do you know there are evil creatures that will hurt your Mother.?” tanya Izar did not understand.
“ A... ku me.. see it in ka.. mar it kema... rin. Creature ja... hat it u.. dah make Mami so ja... hat ju...ga...,” sahut Reno with difficulty.
While touching Reno, Izar sees the fateful event that befell Reno in Oce's secret room yesterday.
Reno went inside Oce's secret room, locked the door from the inside, then began to observe all the objects in the room one by one. After a long search, Reno finally found a small container made of clay under the table offerings.
Reno grabbed the small container and frowned when she saw the red-colored and foul-smelling liquid in the
in that container. Reno sniffed the liquid and seemed to grin because it could not stand the foul aroma that burst forth.
“ This must be the blood that Mami made earlier. I am this blood. Must be quick before it is too late..,” muttered Reno while looking to the right and to the left as if looking for something.

Patiently Reno placed the small container of blood on top of the candle. Slowly the blood in the container was boiling. Reno seemed to grin at the sight of the blood in the small container churning. Soon the small container exploded, causing a deafening sound.
The blood in the container was spurting on Reno's body and head. Then the flame of the candle grabbed the blood liquid that hit Reno and started burning it. Reno tried to put out the fire but failed. He even felt the flames start to burn all over his body and face. Until Reno hears the door being forcefully opened and sees Oce, Iyaz and Izar standing in the doorway barge into the room to help her. Reno also saw clearly Izar carrying a bucket of water which was then splashed onto his body.
Izar's vision ended when Reno's movement resuscitated Izar. He looked at the exhausted Reno with a pity and said something.
“ God willing We will help you and your mother to escape from the pursuit of the devil..,” said Izar lirih but can still be heard by Oce and Faiq.
“ So Reno was bullied by the demon Mas Izar..?” tanya Oce whom Izar subscribes.
“ Forever communion with the devil always ends with grief Mom. If you want to end it all, sometimes our lives are the cover..,” said Faiq.
“ I know that the devil will not stop that way. Please help me, Sir, Mas. I'll end it all because I started it. I tipped Reno, please make sure he survived the demon later.” said Oce convulsed Faiq and Izar.
Reno, who also heard Oce's words, seemed to shake her head in a sign that she did not agree with the decision of the mother. But Oce ignored Reno's trinket. He hugged Reno and kissed her face as a farewell greeting. Afterwards Oce walked out of the room leaving Reno, Izar and Faiq.

That night Reno's condition improved until she was returned to her original inpatient room. Faiq, Izar and Iyaz followed
accompany Reno in that room. While Oce is preparing all the needs of Reno after his death. Oce prepared all the necessary documents by Reno including bequeathing all his property to Reno.
Afterwards Oce returned to the Hospital as the clock showed at eleven p.m. Oce runs into Iyaz who has just bought dinner for him, Izar and Faiq.
“ Mas Iyaz...,” greet Oce with a smile.
“ Bu Oce from where, Reno nyariin Ibu daritadi..,” said Iyaz.
“ I just finished nyiapin all needs Reno when I go later Mas..,” Oce.
“ I heard that from Izar earlier. Why did Bu Oce not try to repent and instead want to surrender to replace Reno.?” tanya Iyaz did not understand.
“ Free Mas. sooner or later that demon will come too. So why don't I speed things up so Reno's safe
and can continue his life. I don't want Reno to be a victim. Let me just replace him..,” sahut Oce.
Hearing Oce's reply left Iyaz stunned. He could do nothing but support Oce's decision.
Slowly the two entered Reno's inpatient room. Oce immediately rushed to embrace the severed Reno. Occasionally Oce rubbed his wet eyes with the back of his tag.
“ After this you can live normal Reno. Be happy and don't follow my footsteps. One thing you should know is that I love you forever. I'm sorry I couldn't keep you company again. Goodbye Reno..,” whispered Oce while shedding tears.
Faiq, Iyaz and Izar looked at Oce with pity. The three could only wait for Oce to finish bidding farewell to Reno.
