The Three Chosen

Hanako began looking for a new job after resigning from her job at the office. Viona, Laras and Fera could not believe if Hanako decided to resign at the change of Manager. But they understood and understood Hanako's decision.

“ We can still hang out with Hana..,” said Laras.

“ God willing can dong Race. Origin Lo ga ngajakin hang out during business hours yes..,” Hanako said.

“ Ish, where can be rich anyway. Which certainly hang out tuh pas holidays or weekends that is...,” said Laras while rounding his eyes.

“ Emang Lo already got a new job huh Han...?” ask Fera.

“ Not yet. But gapapa kok, I will keep working nyari business again..,” Hanako said.

“ You Shouldn't resign Hanako first. You look for work first, already sure accepted, just resigned. If it is rich gini it means you start from zero again dong..,” said Viona.

“ Right said Bu Viona..,” sahut Fera and Laras together.

Hanako simply smiled without answering. So much pressure if he has to stay there, and he doesn't want to be there any longer. As if running out of words to persuade, Viona, Fera and Laras must finally let Hanako go.

A car apparently stopped because it ran out of fuel on a deserted roadside. The road is crowded during the day, but at night like this usually only one or two vehicles pass. The driver went down and looked to the right and left as if he was looking for something. His face looks worried. He pulled out his phone and tried to contact someone. It seems that the person he called did not respond to his call. He tried again until his phone died completely due to running out of power.

“ Sia*an. Pake dead everything HP. Duh where else run gasoline in a quiet place rich gini..?” said the man huffled while staring at his surroundings.

Then the man just left his car and walked to find the nearest SPBU or retail gasoline dealer who is usually on the side of the road. Not long ago, he passed a scavenger.

“ Sorry sir, if the gasoline seller is still far ga ya..?” ask the man.

“ Here no Mas. If there is also a long way, about one kilo more from here.” said the scavenger.

“ Kalo SPBU...?” ask the man again.

“ Ga no Mas...,” the scavenger said again.

“ Oh that's it. So you take this yes..” said the man while handing a piece of fifty thousand money to the scavenger.

“ Alhamdulillah. May Mas Cepet meet the gas stationer yes..” said the scavenger with a smile.

“ Aamiin..., thank you sir..,” said the man while stepping his feet leaving the scavenger.

But not long ago stepped, the man stopped because he saw an SPBU on the roadside not far from where he met the scavenger.

“ Lho, this is SPBU. He said there was no SPBU, what the hell is the Father. Maybe this is the effect of the alms I had for the scavenger, so God immediately met I the same SPBU...” muttered the man smiled while observing the SPBU who stood before him.

Without delaying any more, the man immediately returned to where he left his car and began to push his car slowly towards the SPBU. Almost two hundred meters pushing the car, finally the man arrived at the gate of SPBU. The man also asked SPBU employees to help him push his car so that it could arrive in front of the SPBU engine.

“ Please help me push my car Yes Mas. My car broke down to run out of fuel..,” pinta the man.

“ Well Sir...,” said SPBU employee then rushed to help the man push the car.

Once the car is close to the SPBU engine, the man spends the money to pay for the fuel he needs.

“ Well, starting from zero yes sir..,” said SPBU employees then swiftly meet the man's request.

While waiting for his vehicle to be filled, the man circulated his gaze to the corners of the SPBU. The atmosphere in that place looks quiet even though it is bright because of the lights that light up in all directions. There was only him and his vehicle there with one employee serving the buyer.

Not far from there there is a mini market that also looks quiet because there is no visitor in it. There was only a cashier standing in front of the calculating machine. Next to the mini market is a toilet whose door is closed. From there came the sound of running water sign of someone in it.

“ Done Sir...,” said SPBU employee with smile.

“ Oh yes, here's the money. Take the change Mas...” said the man as he opened the car door and sat behind the wheel.

“ Well, thank you Mr. carefully on the road..,” said the SPBU employee with courtesy who was embraced by the man.

Shortly afterwards the man drove his car away from the SPBU which made him uncomfortable. When he was about to get out of the SPBU, the man stopped for a moment to observe the SPBU behind him through the rearview mirror. How surprised the man was when he saw that there was nothing behind him. The originally bright SPBU also changed the empty land filled with damaged and blackened buildings as if it had been burned.

The man turned his head to make sure what he saw earlier was only an illusion and was surprised to see the reality in front of him.

“ Where SPBU was, I was just a dream. But there was a kok...,” muttered the man with cold sweat that began to flood his body and face.

Suddenly a voice of a man without a form was heard in the man's ear, a voice that resembled the groaning of pain was greeting exactly in the man's left ear.

“ Starts from zero yes Sir..,” word voice without form is shrivelled.

The man was surprised then reflexively stepped on the gas pedal and drove his car at high speed leaving the place without even turning his head again.

At an SPBU Hanako stopped to buy fuel. He circulated his gaze because he felt the SPBU he was visiting was a little strange. The atmosphere in that place felt lonely even though it was on the side of a crowded road.

Initially Hanako hesitated when she wanted to come to him, but because the fuel was running low forcing Hanako to stop. Hanako stopped her vehicle next to the engine while waiting for SPBU officers.

“ Strange, time rich gini no one guard. Where is the officer who used to serve the buyer..?” hanako asked as she spread her gaze.

Suddenly a voice surprised Hanako to make her jump in shock.

“ Start from zero yes Mbak..” said SPBU employees dressed in uniform that friendly without turning towards Hanako.

“ Uh, yes. Ngagetin aja Mas, nongol suddenly rich ghost aja..” said Hanako while handing over the money to pay for the fuel he bought.

“ Ga need to pay, today is free kok Mbak..,” said the SPBU employee while looking down.

“ Free, seriously Mas...?” ask Hanako not to believe it.

“ Yes Mbak...,” said SPBU employees.

“ Alhamdulillah..,” Hanako said with a happy smile.

After that Hanako was again preparing to start her motorcycle but he paled when he saw something strange on the appearance of SPBU employees in front of him. The employee in front of him always looked down and did not dare to look at him. The uniform he wore was also filled with black stains like a burn mark. The skin of his hands also looks blackened and it makes Hanako sure if the SPBU employees in front of him are not human like him.
