39. Brother To Hanako

It was still early in the morning when Hanako woke up to hear the mother's moaning. Apparently Efliya's delivery time is almost here. Hanako immediately ran to meet her parents who were sitting in the living room.

Lucky at that time both Heru's parents were staying at his house so that Heru could calmly accompany his wife.

“ Mother why Eyang...?” ask Hanako.

“ Gapapa Nak, apparently the birth time of Your Sister is near..,” said Mother Heru while stroking Hanako's head.

“ What hurts so much Bun..?” hanako asked while kneeling in front of Efliya.

Efliya nodded with a smile. Then he grabbed Hanako's hand to persuade her sister not to act in there. Understanding the desire of the mother, Hanako immediately put her palm on the stomach

Efliya then began to talk while pecking Efliya's stomach affectionately.

“ Brother don't be naughty yes. Look at Mother in pain. If you want to be born, you can't be fussy. Wait until the delivery room just came out, Ok...?” hanako said with a funny mimic to make everyone laugh.

Suddenly the amniotic fluid flowed between Efliya's thighs. He clenched his hand on Heru's shirt as if to tell if the time of giving birth is almost here and it is not a false contraction.

“ Ready Bun...,” said Heru then carried Efliya and brought her into the car.

Hanako and her eyes got into the car. A moment later the car drove quickly to Firdausi Hospital where Farah and Erik were also waiting for Efliya's arrival.

Upon arrival at the Efliya Hospital, she was taken to the delivery room. Farah who was on service that night accompanied Efliya into the delivery room with Heru. While Hanako with Erik and her eyes are waiting in front of the delivery room.

“ What gave birth to it old Eyang..?” hanako asked Heru's mother.

“ Depends Nak. There was a day at the Hospital last night but the baby wasn't born yet. But there are also babies born on the way to the Hospital. So everything can not be ascertained even though the doctor has an estimate

when the baby was born...,” said Heru's mother with a smile.

The atmosphere of the waiting room grew warmer when Hanako came with four glasses of warm drinks that she bought in the hospital cafeteria.

While in the delivery room looks tense because Efliya refused to push to give birth to her baby. Efliya was afraid that she would fall into a coma like her friend who gave birth at the same age as her. Farah and Heru who were beside him also continued to encourage Efliya to calm down. While the doctor who handled the delivery of Efliya seemed to smile at Farah's interaction with her child.

“ Come on Darling, do not be afraid..,” said Farah encouragingly.

“ Ga want Ma, I'm afraid. What if I am in a coma because I gave birth normally. I want a caesar aja Ma...” said Efliya while shaking his head.

“ But you can give birth to a normal child, the opening is near perfect. You are ready to push when the opening is perfect yes..,” persuade Farah while kissing Efliya's forehead.

But Efliya still refused to push. He turned to Heru as if asking permission to give birth through a caesarean section. Tears seemed to wash over Ephliya's face and it made Heru pity. He never saw this Efliya ‘sekacau’. And Heru did not want Efliya to feel pressured to give birth to their baby.

“ Ma...,” call Heru while staring expectantly at Farah.

Farah had not yet answered Heru and Ephliya's request when suddenly the baby in Ephliya's womb was born. Everyone was shocked and immediately gave help. Efliya seemed to cry happily when she could hear the cry of her baby in a state of ‘sadar’.

“ Alhamdulillah..,” sounded hamdalah echoed in the room.

Heru immediately hugged Efliya and kissed her face while saying thanks repeatedly. While Efliya seemed to smile happily because he could give birth safely.

“ Alhamdulillah, Assalamualaikum Grandson of Oma..,” said Farah while paying attention to the process of cutting the umbilical cord that his colleague did.

Hearing the doctor's words made Heru and Efliya happy. They do not ever want to know the sex of their baby even though they routinely check Efliya pregnancy including undergoing ultrasound four

dimensionality. For Heru and Ephliya, this is a bonus from Allah. Therefore they only focus on the health of Efliya during pregnancy while preparing to welcome the birth of the baby regardless of gender.

While in the waiting room, Hanako was seen jumping up and down laughing happily when she heard the cry of her newborn sister. Heru's mother appears to rub her wet eyes while Erik and Heru's father appear to hug each other because they are happy with the birth of their grandchildren.

Shortly afterwards Heru came out of the delivery room smiling happily.

“ Sister is the same Mother where Yah..,” asked Hanako while approaching Heru.

“ Will soon be moved to the inpatient room. We go there only yes...,” said Heru while embracing Hanako's shoulders.

Then Heru approached his parents and in-laws, and hugged them in turn.

Efliya's inpatient room looks festive because it was visited by his extended family. Although it looks weak and only able to lie on the bed but a happy smile appears to decorate the beautiful face of Efliya.

On the sofa Heru's parents were having a warm conversation with Farah and Erik. The four were discussing the plan of implementation of the aqiqah for their newborn grandchildren.

Faiq and his family were also present to make the atmosphere more crowded. Iyaz and Izar continued to comment on his cousin who was still asleep in the baby box. Hanako compensated for the twins' chattering to a small commotion

it happened between the three of them.

“ What's his name Her..?” asked Faiq while peeping the cheek of the baby in his wife's sling.

“ His name is Eijaz Haikal. Eijaz means miracle, for his presence in the midst of our family is a miracle. Moreover, the birth process is special because the mother does not need to push. Haikal means a tree that grows large and fertile. “ Called what Ci..?” shera asked while looking at Hanako.

“ Call Haikal aja Ma, yes Bun...?” hanako asked, looking at Efliya.

“ Yes Dear..,” says Efliya with a smile.

The presence of Haikal gives happiness to Erik and Farah's extended family, especially for the twins.

Today Hanako seems to be rushing out of school because she will pick up her sister from the Hospital. Then Hanako approached Erik's car parked in front of the school.

“ Sorry yes Opa, I can't get a quick return home because there is a repeat today..,” Hanako said while kissing the back of Erik's hand.

“ Gapapa Nak..,” Erik said while gently stroking Hanako's head.

Erik laughed and drove to Firdausi Hospital to pick Haikal back home.

Upon arriving at the Hospital, Hanako accidentally hit a woman who had just come out of the Hospital lobby while angry. The woman was dressed shabbily, her hair was tangled as if it had never been touched by a comb. His skin looks dirty as if he never took a shower. Do not forget the unpleasant smell because of the condition.

“ Sorry Mom, not on purpose..,” Hanako said politely.

“ Oh gapapa Nak, here only you who speak politely with me..,” said the woman with a smile.

“ Mmm, sorry. Why is Mom here..?” ask Hanako.

“ I want to see my friend who is treated here. But I was instead expelled with security because it was considered to be troublemaking. Meanwhile Hanako had arrived outside the fence of Paradise Hospital and was talking to the woman with her.
