The Three Chosen

The Three Chosen
161. The Eyeang

The night sky was bright. Decorated with stars and a shining moon forming a scythe. A man looked up at the sky while inhaling his cigarette strongly. The man sat on the window sill blocked by an iron trellis. His body was covered in nothing and appeared to be drenched in sweat. Wearing knee-length denim pants, the man looked relaxed.

“ It's almost time, but I haven't got the right person.

After being satisfied looking up at the night sky, the man turned his body and stepped away from the window. The bright light in the room can also clarify his figure which is none other than Suraj, the personnel manager where Hanako works.

Suraj slams his body on the sofa then grabs the guitar and starts strumming the strings while humming. The raucous but precise voice accompanying the guitar passages makes the atmosphere in the room a little sad. Soon, Suraj stopped singing. He closed his eyes as if he remembered something.

“ Why tonight should sing that song. I haven't sung that song since she died. Hufftt..., if I hadn't been too hard and let her live, maybe right now I could still see her..” Suraj said with a wry smile.

Suraj's daydreams suddenly ended when the lights in the room began to flicker irregularly. Suraj doesn't look panicked or trying to fix a lamp or something. He just sat there waiting as if he knew something was coming.

The wet wind and the smell of mud got also seeped into the room to make Suraj breath tight for a moment. A moment later a horned and bull-bodied human figure was seen standing gallantly in front of Suraj. His large body with its curved horns towering up to touch the ceiling of the room, making Suraj look small in front of him even though Suraj has a large high posture.

“ Welcome Eyang...,” greet Suraj while smiling while standing facing the creature so-called.

“ Good night, My granddaughter. How, already got the candidate..?” ask the creature.

“ Hasn't Been, sorry..,” said Suraj while lowering his face.

“ Why so long Suraj. You know the time limit is almost up. Don't mess with me and piss me off Suraj.!” said the creature, shaking his hand until the objects behind Suraj flew against the wall and broke.

Suraj turned his head and watched his favorite things shatter into pieces. There is a sense of unwillingness but he certainly will not dare to say it because he is aware of what the consequences are if you complain to the creature so-called events in front of him.

“ I might not dare to mess with you Eyang, I..,” Suraj's speech was interrupted.

Not to mention finishing his sentence suddenly Suraj felt his body lift up until the hair on his head touched the ceiling of the room. Simultaneously Suraj also felt pain not a clog in his neck area. His gaze faded a little and his breathing felt short. Looking ahead, Suraj saw that one of the creature's hands was strangling his neck.

Suraj shuddered in horror as he felt the force of the creature's one hand capable of making him almost die.

Especially if the creature uses both hands and with full power. Suraj was sure he would never be able to breathe free air again.

“ Aaakkhh, aakkhh...,” Suraj said as he coded for the creature to let go of his strangulation.

The creature grinned and then threw Suraj's body in any direction until Suraj slammed and hit the floor. The sound of the impact of objects that had previously been destroyed was even more rowdy when Suraj fell on it.

“ Quickly or I can't be patient anymore.!” said the creature before it disappeared.

Suraj Namak growled furiously and punched the floor hard several times to vent his anger.  Suraj's finger books look scarred and bleed but Suraj doesn't feel it.

“ Sia*an. If I know this sehina to be your abdication, I've left you a long time ago.” murmured Suraj while wiping the sweat on his face.

There was no sound until Suraj saw a shadow pass outside the window. Suraj frowned as he remembered that the position of his room was on the fourteenth floor. Who would pass through a window located at that height if it were not a ghost. I don't know why Suraj's hair bristles when he realizes there are other astral beings coming to his room.

“ Why goosebumps anyway. Not that the appearance of the Eyang is more frightening than all the ghosts on the face of this earth yes..” murmured Suraj as if to relieve the fear that suddenly reached him.

contact the apartment cleaning party to clean and tidy up his room like a broken ship.

“ Now yes, thank you..” said Suraj at the end of his sentence.

After contacting the cleaning manager of the apartment, Suraj rushed to clean himself in the bathroom. Soon two men came in and cleaned up the mess in Suraj's room. They appear to frown when they see blood droplets on the floor indicating that Suraj was injured by something. Not wanting to interfere, they continued their work to completion.

When Suraj came out of the bathroom, the room had returned neat and clean. Suraj seemed to smile with satisfaction and gave a million rupiah to two men who had helped him earlier.

“ This is a lot Sir...” said one of the men with sparkling eyes.

“ Gapapa, thank you. I love your work, fast and neat. Thanks yes...,” said Suraj with a smile.

“ Both Sir. If so We excuse you first sir, good night..,” said the two janitors while.

step out of Suraj's room.

Suraj smiled and let go of them. Suraj then locked the door and stepped onto the bed. He laid his body on the bed grimacing as the wound began to ache and hurt a little.

“ Pantesan sick and sore, his skin aja peeling rich gini..,” murmured Suraj while watching the wounds on his hands and feet were hit by broken pieces of goods earlier.

Slowly drowsiness attacked to make both eyes closed Suraj. A moment later Suraj fell asleep on his bed.

In his sleep Suraj sees himself as a child. Together with his peers Suraj little seemed to run around in the rice field. They look happy even though several times they have to fall mired in the rice fields because they are not careful when crossing the narrow rice field.

“ Suraaajj..., Suraaajj...!” the voice of one of the farmers from the edge of the rice field called his name to make Suraj turn his head.

“ Yes Uncle, what is it..?!” ask Suraj lantang.

“ Your grandfather came to your house and he is waiting for you now.!” the farmer said.

“ Grandpa, I don't have Grandpa. Maybe Uncle was wrong...,” Suraj said as he ran after the eel.

“ Go home first, son. If you don't, it's your mother that he will bring later.” said the farmer as he passed.

Hearing the farmer's words made Suraj shocked and scared. All this time Suraj only lived alone with his mother. How could he possibly let someone else take his mother. If that happens, with whom he will stay. That was the innocent mind of Suraj who was then six years old.

Suraj ran to his house. He ignored the call of his friends who said if the eel caught was taken to cook. Upon arriving in front of Suraj's house saw many residents crowding. He heard the voice of a foreign-sounding man in his ear talking about something. Suraj unravels the crowd in search of his mother.

“ Suraj come here. Introduce this to Eyangmu. Father of your Father..,” said Suraj's mother with teary eyes.

Suraj looked at the old man whom he then called out with a foreign and inquiring look.
