278. Breaking the Oath
It turns out that the marriage of Lizara and Erdi did not necessarily make Malini happy. Pieter refused to take responsibility. He even tormented Malini's birth and bathin. Pieter always said harsh words and always tried to make Malini fall. Pieter wishes Malini a miscarriage so that she can be free from the responsibility of marrying Malini.
But Nek Uli always defended Malini and tried to protect Malini. Both Pieter's parents could not force Pieter to marry Malini because Pieter always rampaged if reminded to be responsible for the girl.
Malini's stomach was getting bigger and could not be hidden anymore. Until the time of childbirth arrived Malini was rushed to the nearest clinic and gave birth there. Unfortunately, Malini's baby did not survive. Because of the frequent torture of Pieter, Malini's baby died shortly after birth.
Malini screamed at the death of her baby, while Pieter seemed to laugh with satisfaction. Both parents Pieter and Nek Uli looked sad and did not know what to do.
After recovering, Malini chose to resign from her job as a nurse and went home to her parents. There Malini tried to forget everything but failed. Nightmares always haunt Malini. He remembers when Pieter seduced him and then dumped him. She even remembers when Pieter tried to eliminate her baby.
Until one day Malini heard that Pieter was going to marry another woman. Malini was angry and hurt. How could Pieter marry another woman after taking her crown and making her son die. At the same time the Malini family is also in the midst of the arrival of guests who intend to propose to Malini. Malini's parents accepted the proposal without Malini's consent. He refused because he did not want to marry another man besides Pieter.
Then Malini went to Pieter's wedding. But unfortunately Malini had an accident and died before arriving at the place in question. Only the spirit of Malini arrives at the venue and witnesses Pieter's marriage. Until now the spirit of Malini was held in the place of the wedding party Pieter is a restaurant where Erik and Farah came to reminisce.
Faiq let out a long sigh as he ended his vision. He stared at the ghost of Malini.
“ Why don't you forget about Pieter and marry another man. Your parents have already received the proposal of the male family...?” ask Faiq carefully.
“ I can't break my vows. I and Pieter used to swear before God to get married.” Malini said.
“ But Pieter betrayed his oath twice. The first one was about to marry Lizara and the second one was when she married the woman at the restaurant you went to..” Faiq said riled up.
“ That's his business with God. I still hold my oath. I will only marry Pieter, only with Pieter.” said the ghost of Malini steady.
“ Now what can I help you with.?” ask Faiq.
“ Please help me meet Pieter..,” pinta ghost Malini.
“ Rather difficult. I don't know where Pieter is now..” said Faiq.
“ Pieter stay in West Jakarta area Iq. Pieter opened a restaurant there..” said Dayang suddenly to make the ghost of Malini smile because he got a hint.
“ Oh yes. If so we can meet him there.” said Faiq possessed by Dayang and the ghost of Malini.

Faiq invites Iyaz and Izar to meet Pieter at his restaurant. When we got there the restaurant looked quite crowded. A servant approached Faiq and his two children and handed them a menu book.
Iyaz and Izar read the menu offered while having a little discussion to buy time. While Faiq also asked a few things to the waiter of the restaurant.
“ What is Mr Pieter there.?” ask Faiq.
“ There is Sir, but now there is a guest..,” said the waiter with courtesy.
“ I haven't seen Nek Uli in a long time. How is he doing now..?” ask Faiq again to make the servant sure that Faiq is an old friend of Pieter.
“ Nek Uli passed away two years ago Sir..,” said the waiter.
“ What a pity...,” said Faiq with a sad face mimic,
“ Now that's Mr. Pieter's wife, do you want to chat with him.?” ask the waiter.
“ Mmm. I do not know his wife Mr. Pieter, it will be awkward. Let me wait Sir
Pieter aja all acquaintances with his wife later..,” said Faiq with a smile.
“ That's why I'll excuse you first sir..,” said the waiter after noting the order of Iyaz and Izar.
Faiq nodded and looked at Iyaz and Izar. He saw his two children interacting with Dayang and the ghost of Malini.
“ What's up..?” ask Faiq.
“ Oh yes, why is it..?” ask Faiq.
“ Because Pieter can not carry out his duties as a Husband on the bed..,” said the ghost of Malini while smiling wryly.
“ Why is that, does he have no treatment.?” ask Faiq don't understand.
“ That's because Pieter made his own vow..,” said Malini's ghost while drifting towards the kitchen.
“ Ask your own vows how does that mean Yah..?” ask Izar.
Faiq had just opened his mouth to answer Izar's question, but Dayang cut in quickly.
“ Pieter used to swear that he would only hook Malini for the rest of his life. He promised that there would be no other woman in his life. Pieter swore that he would only gain earthly paradise with Malini. It was said by Pieter shortly before he took Malini's crown. Well because of his vow Pieter can not make love with other women until anytime. He can only do that with Malini.” Dayang explained.
Faiq, Iyaz and Izar stared at each other for a moment then shook their heads at Dayang's explanation.
“ The vow uttered by mentioning the name of God has brought suffering not only to Malini but also to Pieter.
“ Ga there is no other way besides meeting them. Hopefully after this there is a way out the best. So that Pieter can get on with her life, and Malini can leave in peace.
Soon enough, Malini's ghost rejoins them. The ghostly face of Malini looks very sad.
“ Why else..?” asked Faiq while enjoying the food presented in front of him.
“ I saw Pieter and his wife just had a fight. His wife asked for a divorce but Pieter did not want to divorce her. The reason he was ashamed to bear the status of a widower. Strangely again, Pieter gave permission to his wife to cheat to satisfy his unchannelled desire with Pieter.
“ Keep why are you sad..?” ask Izar.
“ I'm sad that Pieter chose to keep his wife even though she wasn't happy. I remember how I begged him to be with me but he betrayed me.” Malini's ghost said softly to make all who heard him concerned.
Meanwhile, Pieter was in his study. He sat down and closed his eyes. Pieter is
given his quarrel with Thalia, the wife he married eight years ago.
As usual Thalia came to ask for a divorce. Thalia is always the same reason that is saturated waiting for Pieter ‘cured’ while she is a normal woman who also wants to be touched by her husband. But Pieter's aides have always been the same: refusing to divorce. Pieter's reason is that he loves Thalia very much. Pieter even allowed Thalia to seek gratification out there if she didn't leave him.
“ Why I can't function as a normal guy with Thalia. As I remember I was very good in bed. I can also get Malini pregnant. But why when dealing with Thalia I feel paralyzed..” muttered Pieter while shuffling her hair.
Unknowingly Pieter walked out of his room towards the parking lot while constantly thinking about Thalia's complaint. Pieter also recalled how she used to enjoy a forbidden romance with Malini. It is forbidden because it was done before they were married. Pieter tries to compare Malini to Thalia.
“ Thalia is prettier than Malini, she is also more se*i. But why is my ability zero in front of him. Lest I have any use..,” Inner Pieter.
“ That's because you have broken the vow you once said..” said Faiq suddenly to the surprise of Pieter.
For a moment Pieter stared fixedly at Faiq who was leaning against the car door while crossing his side. Then Pieter turned to his right and left to convince himself that Faiq was talking to him.
“ What are you talking to me..?” ask Pieter.
“ Yes...,” says Faiq,
“ Oath what do you mean..?” ask Pieter again.
“ Oath you once said when you snatched the crown of Malini..,” said Faiq while staring fixed Pieter.
Pieter flinched and pegged in place. He also understood why he could never become a normal man when he was with Thalia.
