Nayla runs her car slowly and carefully. Down the road and stop for a moment when there is a small alley with a large horde of men sitting there. Sitting on their big motorbike.
Nayla looked at the faces of every man there. But none of them recognized him.
"None of them looks the same as the one in the photo" he murmured softly.
"Hahhh, I have to look further" said Nayla to encourage herself.
In the hope of getting something, Nayla retraced the road and stopped in every alley that was likely the person in her car.
But it all ended nil. Nayla returns to her apartment when it is completely dark. Dropping herself on the sofa and covering her face with her hands, Nayla let out a long sigh.
His face looked tired and sleepless. However, that did not stop him from continuing to find out the whereabouts of the person he was in.
The ringing of her phone distracts Nayla, with Nayla quickly pulling out her phone and receiving an incoming phone call.
"How's it?" sosor Nayla so put a cell phone in her ear.
"I got it, you'd be surprised by the results. I've sent the tape to your e-mail, "welcome the woman across the phone.
"Thank God, you are,,,! Thank you, ****. You're gonna help me. As I promised, I'll keep it, "welcome Nayla.
"Not necessary," he said.
"But isn't that what you want?" nayla asked not to understand.
"That's not what I really want" he said.
"Then,,?" ask Nayla again.
"Erhm,,," he muttered awkwardly. " I just want to help you, is that wrong?" awkward answer.
"No, but why?" ask Nayla again.
"I,, want to,,,, ber,, te-man with you," he answered. "Is that overkill?" said nervous.
"Are we not friends?" Nayla asked back.
"But kan_,,,"
"I always thought of you as a friend, from the beginning until now I thought of you as a friend" Nayla said.
"Thank you, Nay. That's more than enough. I will continue to help you as much as I can. Call me whenever you need anything. Now you better check the tape first, hopefully it can help you," he said attentively.
"Well, thank you again" Nayla said before ending her call.
Nayla hurried from her seat to her private study and turned on her computer.
Open the e-mail and start playing the tape that the woman sent him.
"No way," hiss Nayla covered her mouth.
Nayla was shocked by the recording she had just seen. In disbelief, Nayla repeated the recording and showed the same thing.
A person she knew, clearly visible on the tape, came up to three men sitting in the alleyway and gave them a brown envelope.
Before long they shook hands and the person Nayla knew just left. The three men were the ones photographed with him.
"So they really work together? But why was he there too?" ask Nayla to herself.
"No, No, I can't assume myself and take a wrong assessment. He couldn't possibly be the mastermind behind all this" Nayla denied.
"I have to look for evidence, definitely not him, there's no way he is" he added.
The voiceless recording she got was the reason Nayla continued to deny what she saw.
...****************...
The following night, Nayla retraced the path recorded on the footage she had seen. And sure enough, those people were there.
Nayla scanned the place, looking at every corner where there might be a gap that could help her to escape if needed.
After a while there, Nayla leaves with a plan in mind.
"I'll be back tomorrow night. I'm sure they'll be here again tomorrow night" Nayla murmured.
Nayla returns to her apartment to rest for a while. Resting his body that was unable to sleep for the past four days.
On the next day, Nayla had been preparing to leave since it was still noon. Cutting herself in front of the mirror, Nayla tidied her hair and tied it together to the back.
Denim pants and sleeveless tops covered with long cardi, Nayla smiled thinly in front of the mirror looking at her own reflection.
Nayla rushed out of her apartment to her car. Slowly run the car towards the building where Rory lives.
Nayla stopped in front of a flower shop located not far from Rory's residence, then stepped in.
"Good day, miss," the shopkeeper smiled kindly.
"Your appearance is very different than usual" he said.
"Do I look weird?" asked Nayla smiling.
"Absolutely not, miss. You remain beautiful as always, but today your clothes look more relaxed. But your face looks tired, are you okay?" reprimand the shopkeeper.
"I'm fine, just a lack of sleep" Nayla smiled.
"Is it still as usual, miss?" ask the shopkeeper.
"Yes, as usual," replied Nayla.
"Well, I'll prepare the flowers, please wait a minute" the shopkeeper asked.
Nayla nodded and waited in front of the shop. His eyes never got tired of looking at the fresh flowers that bloomed from the store.
"Here you go, your flowers" the shopkeeper's voice again sounded.
Nayla receives a large bouquet of beautifully arranged red Carnations and Amaryllis.
The shopkeeper nodded and smiled amiably.
Without Nayla noticing, a pair of eyes had noticed her from behind the car she was driving from the moment Nayla entered the flower shop with a shocked look.
"What is Nyala doing here? Is he going to see Rory? But, Nayla says she won't see Rory before she finds the act?" muttered.
The man who was none other than Thomas accidentally saw Nayla when she entered the flower shop that was near the building where they lived.
"I always wondered why Nayla loved buying flowers there. And she also bought the same flower again when I saw her back then" she murmured again.
Thomas immediately follows Nayla as Nayla's car starts to run.
Nayla did not turn at all when the building where Rory was in front of her. Nayla actually increased the speed when crossing the front of the building.
Thomas continued to follow Nayla for twenty minutes until Nayla's car slowed down to enter the public funeral parking area. Thomas was stunned when he saw Nayla go into the diet.
Thomas immediately came out and followed Nayla silently. His heart was as if in a crumb when he saw Nayla kneeling in front of a tombstone bearing the name of a person.
'I almost judged him bad just for seeing him buy flowers. So he always buys flowers for this?' inner Thomas.
Thomas stood behind a tree near where Nayla was. Faintly, Nayla's voice sounded softly in her ears but was quite clear to her.
"It looks like big brother is fine as long as I don't come. Someone put another flower here besides me" said Nayla smiling.
"Oh yeah, didn't I keep my promise? I'm not crying anymore, Nick's brother can see it, right?" ask Nayla.
Nayla put the bungga next to the flower that was already there no matter who put it.
"If I say, I want to be with big brother like I used to, will big brother be mad at me? sometimes I feel tired, but I can't break my promise to my sister either" Nayla said.
" But now it's different, my promise has been fulfilled, and if this is all done, I want to be with Nick's brother like I used to be" he said.
"I will definitely clear his name, turn things around and stop all the accusations. Including the accusations against Chris. If I manage to do it, brother will take me, right?" nayla Determination.
"I know, I've told her a lot about her, but somehow, this time I'm really tired. The one thing I promised you right now is that I won't run away, I'll solve this problem myself" Nayla said.
Nayla smiled bitterly, her eyes turning to the bracelet on her wrist, the bracelet she had never removed.
"Did you know? I almost lost this bracelet once." Nayla raised her hand and moved her bracelet.
"But he helped me get it back. When I lost this bracelet, I always felt like my brother was really getting away from me. And it was really scary, so please don't leave me again" Nayla's voice started to tremble.
"I miss my sister a lot" Nayla said.
Nayla blinked her eyes holding back her tears. His gaze continued to be fixed on the navel in front of him. After a while, Nayla exhaled and stood up.
Moving out of his place without realizing that Thomas standing behind a tree had heard all the grievances of his heart.
His heart was touched by his attitude, even in the situation he was facing, Nayla still had time to tell about Rory.
'He who has always looked strong, always smiling and looks like he does not care about the surrounding, it turns out to store pain deep enough, ' Thomas' inner.
Thomas comes out of his hiding place after Nayla is no longer seen. His feet stepped closer to the navel that had been near Nayla.
"Nicholas L," Thomas murmured, reading the name on the tombstone.
"When have I heard this name?" mumbling again.
Thomas closed his eyes and tried to remember a name that sounded familiar to him.
"Do any of them know this name?" mumbling again.
Thomas shakes his head and turns his gaze towards where Nayla disappeared.
"It looks like he's gone, I have to get out of here now, too" Thomas told himself.
Thomas moved out of his place and continued to tread carefully. Keep making sure Nayla has left and doesn't see her.
