A man in a hat with a mask covering his face in addition to a black jacket with a hudie attached to his head was standing in the outer corner of the minimarket with a camera hanging from his neck.
His eyes kept watching the woman who had just entered the minimarket. As if giving a code to someone, the strange man flicked his finger and pointed his index finger inside.
Shortly after doing that, another man in a blue jacket walked into the minimarket and positioned himself near the woman who was none other than Nayla.
BUGH,,,,!!!
An unavoidable clash when the man accidentally bumps into Nayla.
Nayla was picking a cereal box when someone hit her, and made her drop the box.
"Oh my God, my God, forgive me, I didn't mean it" said the man, leaning over and picking up the cereal box he had fallen into.
"Please forgive me. I'm so careless, are you okay, Miss?" asked the man to extend his hand to hand over the cereal box that had fallen.
" It's okay," Nayla greeted with a friendly smile. " I'm fine, '" he added.
"I'm really sorry. Are you really okay?" tanyanya.
"I'm doing fine. Thank you," Nayla replied beginning to feel uneasy as the man's hand did not let go of his hand from the cereal box and held Nayla's wrist.
BLITZZ,,,, THE,,,,
Once again Nayla felt someone had photographed her. His eyes watched the surroundings trying to find out who had been nosy photographing him without permission.
"I have to go now, excuse me," said Nayla, slowly pulling her hand.
But the man did not let go of Nayla just like that. The man follows Nayla until he reaches the cashier and forces her to pay for Nayla's groceries.
"Please let me pay for your groceries, miss!" push the man
"Sorry sir, I'm very grateful, but sorry, I refused. You don't need to feel guilty just for a small bump," Nayla welcomed.
" But I want to make it up to you" he insisted.
" I appreciate it. But, I can't accept it," subtly denied Nayla.
"Why?" the man asked started to sound annoyed and grabbed Nayla's hand violently.
" Please let go of your hand, your attitude is very disrespectful" Nayla tried to pull her hand.
The cashier guard who saw that was intending to stop the man. However, before he could do so, the man gave him a sharp gaze full of threat, making the cashier guards retreat in silence.
"Currently, what kind of polite attitude are you talking about?" the man tightened his grip on Nayla's wrist.
"Sir, please let go of my hand!" pinta Nayla grimaced in pain and tried to pull her hand.
Suddenly, another pair of hands grabbed the man's hand and released it from Nayla's. Making the man turn his head followed by Nayla who also set his gaze on the new foreign man who had come.
"Hey,, man! That's not how you treat a woman,!" he nodded with a smile on his face.
"Your actions are not recorded by CCTV, but the cameras on my phone are recorded, and again, the cashier guard here is also enough to be a witness. Isn't that enough to prove your act of abuse?" threaten her with a sly grin on her face.
"Ck, look out!" decak the man in the blue jacket who left the minimarket with an annoyed face.
"Are you okay?" ask her to Nayla and watch Nayla's reddened hands.
" I'm okay, thanks to you. Thank you," welcome Nayla to look at the man who helped her.
The tall man in a white shirt covered in a checkered shirt looked at Nayla and smiled brightly.
"You,,,?" he said while raising his index finger. "Festival,, Conan Doyle's book?" continue while raising his eyebrows.
"Ah,, you?" welcome Nayla kindly when remembering the man.
Nayla turned away for a moment to pay for her purchase and stepped out at the follow by the man.
"It's nice to see you again, Ehemmm__,," the man tilted his head to look at Nayla with a questioning face.
"Nayla" said Nayla, understanding the man's intentions.
"Val," welcome the man to extend his hand.
Nayla stopped in front of the minimarket and stood facing Val, greeted the man's helping hand and smiled before saying,
"Are you not buying something?" asked Nayla to lower her hand.
"Is that so?" welcome Nayla.
Val smiled shyly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"What are you doing here, Nay? Err, I can talk to you casually, right?" tanyanya awkward.
"Of course, even if you helped me, I might say no" replied Nayla.
"Your sentence just made me look like a suspect" Val said.
Nayla smiled amusedly as she shook her head at Val's crisp laughter.
"I live not far from here" Nayla explained in the end.
"That's a nice coincidence," greeted Val enthusiastically. " Because I also live around here," he explained.
"By the way, I haven't apologized properly for that time" Val said.
"To be honest, I'm the one who should apologize to you for my attitude at the time" Nayla said.
"No, no, the attitude he showed was natural and very understandable. I would behave the same if someone held my lover's hand for too long when they didn't know each other" he said understandingly.
Nayla fell silent with a tinge of red on her face, and began to step foot in following Val beside her.
"Oh, yes, I once said I wanted to make amends by buying you a book by Sir Arthur, the offer still stands" Val said.
"I'm so grateful, Val. But, sorry, I think I should reject it. You don't have to go that far just because you did something you didn't do on purpose" Nayla said.
"That's not what I mean," Val argued. " I already have the book, and I want to give it to you. Some books I've given to others, so this one book I want to give you" Val said.
"Please don't refuse, I did intend to give it to you in the first place. However, I haven't seen you since the Festival back then" Val hoped.
"Other people?" Nayla squinted. " Like,, lover?" candelessly.
"Oh No,,,! Of course it wasn't. But he's a man I admire, he's the author of the book I fought over with you, even though I got it wrong in the end" Val laughed at his own attitude.
"It's embarrassing, isn't it?" then laugh again.
"So you mean, you know Nyloes?" nayla Fishing.
"It's not exactly like that" Val denied. " But I sent a letter and got a reply" he replied. "Can you imagine that? Getting a reply letter from a person who admired it was really amazing," Val said enthusiastically.
"That sounds menajubkan," greeted Nayla.
Nayla smiled faintly and started to remember about Val.
'Could Rose remember the letter from Val? I do feel familiar with the name, but I'm not sure they're the same person Nayla whispered.
They are busy chatting and occasionally interspersed with laughter as if they have known for a long time. Suddenly, someone hit Nayla until her body staggered back.
Val's pair of firm hands held him back, preventing Nayla from falling. Unavoidable, Val who held Nayla's body by putting one hand on her waist, caused the groceries in Nayla's hand to fall.
"Hey,,,! Be careful when you walk,!" val exclaimed at the person who left just like that after bumping into Nayla.
"Ck,, what the fuck is that guy," decak Val. " This road is still quite wide, why would it have to crash deliberately like that?" snarl.
"That's it, let it go. Maybe he's in a hurry" Nayla said calmly.
"Are you okay?" ask Val worriedly.
"I'm doing fine. Thank you for helping me again" Nayla said.
"Not a problem, after all, all normal people will do it for you," Val smiled broadly.
"Ah, my apartment is this way" said Nayla pointing to the road as they arrived at the intersection.
"Hemmm,, right? It turns out we're different at this intersection" Val murmured. " Well, nice to meet you, Nay," Val said.
"It's nice to meet you, Val. See you," said Nayla.
"Until we meet again, Nayla," replies Val .
They walked in different directions after waving hands.
The man in the jacket and hat followed Nayla without her knowledge.
Meanwhile, Val looked at Nayla's back with a smile on her lips.
