109. Bonus chapter. After the wedding chapter 5

"NAYY,,,,!!!"

Rory and Kevin exclaim in panic and soon catch Nayla's body suddenly unconscious.

His pale face was increasingly visible, even on his face also began to sweat.

Thomas helps hold Nayla's body, and immediately takes Nayla to the hospital where Chris works.

Coincidentally, Chris was working the night shift, and was surprised when Rory came with Nayla unconscious.

"How did this happen?" ask Chris.

"I don't know how, t-but d-he suddenly just_,,," Rory failed to explain properly because her panic was mixed with worry.

"We were planning to have dinner after the show, but he suddenly fainted while he was about to get in the car, before he was fine" Martin explained.

"It's not milk, is it?" muttered Kevin with a worried look.

"Milk?" reset Chris.

"D-he wouldn't eat, d-and I thought milk could be a temporary intercessor, but he spewed it. Before he wasn't" Kevin said.

"You guys wait here for a second, I'll check it out" Chris said.

They nodded, waiting anxiously. Feeling the fear of something that is not wanted, the article Nayla also fainted not long ago, and now repeated again.

Rory thought hard about what activities felt physically burdening Nayla, but did not find it.

Bob and Sean are also waiting there, thinking if it's their fault for not keeping Nayla properly, and Bob doesn't immediately remove the car's scent when Nayla complains about the smell. Even Adrian and Vania also showed worried faces.

The hospital hallway seemed to be filled with only those still waiting for Chris to come out.

The time that continues to run becomes so slow for them, until Chris comes out with a face that they cannot understand.

"Hows it? Nayla's okay, right?" assault Kevin without further ado.

"Nayla's okay, right?" please Martin.

"Say something! She's okay, right?" nathan and Ethan are together.

Chris took a deep breath, and his gaze turned to Rory who still looked anxious.

"He's fine" said Chris, bringing relief to Martin, Ethan and Nathan.

Not to Rory and Kevin. The two of them looked at Chris with growing anxiety.

"But,,?" Rory looked at Chris with raised eyebrows.

Chris' serious face turned a gentle smile, looking at Rory with the same gaze as he extended Nayla's hand to Rory at their wedding altar.

"I'll congratulate you, Rory," said Chris, smiling.

The frown on Rory's forehead deepened, not understanding what Chris was saying. As he was about to ask, Chris first opened his voice.

"She's pregnant" Chris said.

"A-A-What,,,?" Rory asked as if she had misheard what Chris had just said.

"My estimate is that she's almost three weeks old, but to be sure, I'm going to transfer Nayla's check-up to the gynecologist" Chris said.

"J-J-So, are you serious? D-He's h-pregnant?" reiterate Rory stammered.

Chris' explanation adds to his belief that he did not hear the good news wrong.

"Do you think I'm going to the porch with something like this?" chris replied asking.

Rory rubbed her face with both of her palms. His face exuded happiness that he could not express. Relieved, happy, moved, all sorts of feelings spilled into one.

Not only Rory, but everyone who was there was also happy with the news they had just heard. Including Sean and Bob, although they both recently worked with Nayla, but they feel they have worked for several years because of the warm attitude that Nayla gave them both like family.

They embrace each other with joy, celebrating the good news they heard that night.

"Is he awake?" ask Rory.

"It hasn't been, but you can see him. I'll give you the results of the examination later after coming out,"

"If my guess is correct, the reason why she fainted is because from the beginning her body condition was often changed and decreased suddenly, it could be a major factor because now she is pregnant," explained Chris.

"But, he's okay, right?" please Rory.

"For now, he's fine, there's nothing to worry about. I'll give you vitamins, and give them to him regularly" Chris said.

"I understand, thank you very much, Chris," said Rory.

"No need to thank me, with you being her husband, that means you're also my sister, too" said Chris patting slowly on Rory's shoulder.

"And one more thing," suddenly, Chris changed the tone of his voice.

"Only two people can accompany him inside. And you can all just meet him tomorrow if you want to come in together" said Chris.

"I get it, but if you see him in turn, it's not a problem, right? While the others wait outside," Martin hoped.

Chris looked at Martin, as if to say no. But all the faces in front of her gave a hopeful look, and she also knew they wouldn't cause a fuss if she said Nayla needed calm.

"Hahh," Chris sighed, putting one arm in his face.

"You guys really make me always break the rules" he said.

"Just make sure you guys don't make a fuss, he still needs to be astonished" replied Chris giving up.

They were happy to hear Chris's reply.

"I still have to check on other patients, but I'll be back later" Chris said before leaving.

Rory goes into the ward with Kevin. Seeing Nayla still lying with her eyes closed, the two of them sat opposite to Nayla, waiting.

Rory gently clasped Nayla's hand, dipped her for a moment, then rubbed her head.

"Beautiful dream, Ma Cheri," said Rory slowly.

"Congratulations to you, Jo," said Kevin in a soft voice.

"Congratulations to you, too" Rory laughed softly.

"I'm going to call my mom to let you know about this, and I'm sure they'll come right away, leave all their business" Kevin said.

"Mama always does," greeted Rory with a smile.

"Focus on looking after him, let me take care of the rest" Kevin said.

"Thank you, Kevin," Rory said with sincerity on his face.

"I'm going out, they're waiting their turn to come in just to see it for a minute" said Kevin.

"Can you hold them in?"

Nayla's voice suddenly made them look at her quickly. He slowly opened his eyes, fixed his gaze on Kevin and gave a look for help.

"Thank God, you're awake" Kevin said, and sat down.

"Do you want anything?" ask Kevin.

Nayla only gave a weak look, giving a faint smile on her pale face.

"Is this in the hospital?" nayla asked slowly turning her gaze to Rory.

"I have no choice but to bring you here" Rory said.

"Why are you putting on a face like that now?" nayla complained.

"You should have told me you weren't feeling well" Rory said.

"I'm going out, get some rest" said Kevin as he got up from his seat.

"You're gonna hold them in, right?" please Nayla. "My head hurts so much" he added.

"If that's what you want, I'll do it without you saying why" Kevin said.

"Ah, you'd better talk about this tomorrow, Jo," Kevin suggested turning to Rory.

"I know," answered Rory understood what Kevin meant to her.

Kevin looked back at Nayla and smiled gently, he rubbed Nayla's head and came out after saying good night.

"I didn't mean to worry you, Roy, I'm sorry," Nayla said after Kevin left.

"I know you didn't mean it" said Rory.

"I don't know why, but it really felt like all of a sudden, my head hurt and I don't remember anything anymore" Nayla said.

"You don't need to explain anything, Ma Cheri, I understand," replied Rory.

"But_,,,"

"Sshhh,," Rory put one finger on Nayla's lips, then gently rubbed her face.

"Is your head still hurting?" ask Rory worriedly.

"A little bit" answered Nayla.

"Rest me, I'll stay here until you wake up" Rory said.

"Promise?" please Nayla.

"I promise, now go to sleep" replied Rory.

Nayla closed her eyes again which actually felt heavy. His head again throbbed when he opened his eyes, but he forced open his eyes when he faintly heard Kevin was about to come out and let the other friends in to see him. Without feeling he fell asleep again with Rory sitting next to him.

While outside, when Kevin came out, Martin was ready to enter but was quickly prevented by Kevin.

"He needs to rest, see him tomorrow" Kevin said.

"I just want to see it for a minute" replied Martin.

"She was conscious, and complained of a headache. If you go inside, it's the same as interrupting the break. Enough Rory inside, and you can see him tomorrow morning" said Kevin.

They all sighed in disappointment, yet did not force their way in. Choose to hold back until tomorrow morning.

#####The next day.

As promised, Rory stays there when Nayla wakes up from her sleep. His face looks brighter than before.

That morning, Chris came to Nayla's room and submitted the report to Rory. Not to be left behind, Kevin and the team, Sean and Bob, as well as Adrian and Vania have gathered in Nayla's nursery.

Everyone there looked at Rory who was reading the results of Nayla's examination, until Rory raised his face and smiled with a nod of his head.

Simultaneously all cheered happily, making Nayla frown. Feeling strange this morning because of the attitude of his friends.

"What's wrong with you guys?" ask Nayla wonder.

"I'll answer after you eat" replied Rory.

"Have you eaten too?" ask Nayla.

"I've forced her to eat this morning" said Kevin.

"If he hasn't eaten, you'll be troublesome by not eating before he eats something" he added.

"It's so bad" Nayla murmured. "So, am I a troublesome person for you?" ask her with raised eyebrows.

"Very, and I love it" replied Kevin.

"Who exactly is your sister? You're being mean to me and being more gentle with her" Rory said in a satirical tone.

"Of course Nayla. Who are you? you're even more troublesome than him and acting annoyingly," welcome Kevin.

"Ukh,, whatever," replied Rory out of words for a reply.

All laughed satisfied to see Rory running out of words to reply to Kevin. Making Nayla laugh also softly see the action of the brothers in front of him who are very rarely seen getting along, but very compact when their protective nature comes out.

Rory feeds Nayla by continuing to persuade her. However, again Nayla took out what she had just eaten.

"Do you want to eat something else?" ask Rory. "You can get sick if you don't eat anything" he added.

"I can find whatever you want" Thomas said.

"Fruit or something?" tympan Ethan.

"I don't want anything" replied Nayla.

"Well, now take the medicine, now" Rory pinta.

Nayla complies without any debate as usual. But his face continued to show question marks, why did the attitude of those who were now around him look strange?

They kept smiling as they looked at Nayla. He did not know what that smile meant. Even Chris showed the same expression. Nayla becomes even more shocked when Gloria and Vincen come to visit her.

"What is this really? Why are you looking at me like that? Mama and papa also came here, "Nayla asked with a sense of confusion that has not disappeared.

But none of them answered the question. Until, Rory bent his body while reaching for Nayla's hand. He approaches his face and whispers.

"We will have a new family member" Rory said in a whisper.
