A fierce fight between Chi Zhoufan and Liu Fen ensued. There Liu Fen cleverly toyed with Chi Zhoufan's mental state. In front of the old grandfather appeared the bodies of his late friend and wife, this made Chi Zhoufan mentally shaken.
Wu Ao and Wu Yi stood up with appalling conditions. Chi Zhoufan was simply unable to unleash his full abilities when attacking Wu Ao or Wu Yi.

Suddenly a red colored aura came out from Chi Zhoufan's body. In just a matter of seconds the temperature around Chi Zhoufan became hot even making Liu Fen keep his distance.
‘Damn it! This old grandpa suddenly increased his cultivation!’
Liu Fen cursed inwardly when he realized Chi Zhoufan's cultivation had increased by one level to the Sky Realm. The Sun God Sword was the cause. This situation certainly did not benefit Liu Fen and made the man exert all his abilities to escape.

That night was a bad night for Zhang Xue. The one-sided massacre that General Jie Hung carried out with two Scorpion members named Jin Ho and Fan Chou, had made Zhangdu Capital a sea of blood.
Zhang Xue's pain wasn't just there. Noble Wang also betrayed the Thousand Swords Sect. There was nowhere to escape for Zhang Xue if not for the loyalty of the imperial soldiers and the residents who sacrificed their lives.
“Run, Xuexue! They want your blood! I'll buy you a minute!” hong Zi Ran said as Jin Ho and Fan Chou chased after him.
“But Sister Zi Ran-”
“Quickly, Her Majesty the Queen! Don't waste our sacrifice!”
“If you live! Remember tonight and avenge our death!”
The imperial soldiers protected Zhang Xue and surrounded Jin Ho, while Fan Chou faced off against Hong Zi Ran.
“No..” Zhang Xue bit his lips to the point of bleeding from noticing this critical situation.

Hearing Hong Zi Ran's shout and the look in his eyes, Zhang Xue fled the Zhangdu Capital. The place that Zhang Xue was heading to was the hideout of the Moon Palace.
During those five days the Jia Empire had successfully occupied Zhangdu Capital and left only the Northern Wind Fortress that they had not conquered. White, black or neutral sects began to join the government of General Jie Hung.
Initially most of them all refused and carried out revenge attacks, but they were all in vain because of the absolute strength that the Jia Empire possessed.
The fate of Hong Zi Ran was the beginning of his nightmare when he was detained by General Jie Hung. Meanwhile Zhang Xue failed to reach the Moon Palace and was saved by someone who took him to a hidden valley.
