L.O.S.E 6 - North Wind Fortress

ARC 1 - Fall to Rise

Northern Wind Fortress, Chi Region, Zhang Empire.

Fierce fighting took place there. What the Zhang Empire had planned was not going as planned. The alliance troops that should have gathered at the North Wind Fortress were just hundreds of Sacred Sun Sect warriors and hundreds of imperial soldiers under the command of General Chi Huangshan who had appeared.

“How about our food supply, My son?” chi Zhoufan asked General Chi Huangshan.

“We have survived for five days. About two more days of our food supply holding up, Ayahanda.” General Chi Huangshan said.

Chi Zhoufan who heard that stroked his white beard and sighed lightly.

“Have you heard from Her Majesty the Queen yet?” Chi Zhoufan asked again.

“Until now there has been no news from Her Majesty the Queen, Father.”.

“My son, this army we are fighting is undead. They were ordinary soldiers and residents who were killed. This battle is completely unfavorable to our side as long as the person controlling them cannot be found.”

Finally Chi Zhoufan also brought out his best fighter who was a talented cultivator of the Sacred Sun Sect. Three people appeared to him and paid their respects to Chi Zhoufan.

“Huang Liao, Huo An, Guang Yu, open the way for me. I have found the whereabouts of the hiding rats,” Chi Zhoufan said to the three.

“Good, Patriarch Chi!” The third answered.

Soon all three talented cultivators from the Sacred Sun Sect who served as Elders plunged down the fortress and joined the other cultivators.

“My son, who do you think we're fighting?”

While releasing a bit of Qi stored in his body, Chi Zhoufan suddenly asked General Chi Huangshan.

“What does Ayahanda mean?” General Chi Huangshan looked confused.

“Who do you think betrayed Her Majesty the Queen?”

General Chi Huangshan was silent. The kidnapping of noble children and girls as well as the massacre in the Jie family and this incident was as planned.

“The most ambitious of them are the Wang family... Don't tell them..”.

General Chi Huangshan clenched his hands and released a large amount of Qi.

“I'll take care of the problem here. You take care of the other problems,” Chi Zhoufan said.

“But I don't think your guess is entirely right and not entirely wrong. The darkness in this country seems to have been much more concentrated than we thought.” Chi Zhoufan added before flying towards the south.

“Ayahanda..” General Chi Huangshan took several troops and marched towards the Zhangdu Capital.

While down there, Guang Yu led an archer army and made the movement of the soldiers of the Jia Empire stop. Those blind arrows destroyed the successive attacks of the Jia Empire's warriors and it utilized Huang Liao to finish them off.

“Brother Huang, the only way to end them is simply to destroy all parts of their body.” Huo An told Huang Liao who was surprised to see the soldiers of the Jia Empire being able to rise again after he killed.

Together with Huo An, Huang Liao moved to attack the soldiers of the Jia Empire while Guang Yu led an army of archers to destroy anyone who tried to block Chi Zhoufan's movements.

After Chi Zhoufan moved away from the Northern Wind Fortress then Guang Yu plunged in to help cultivators who were fighting against the warriors of the Jia Empire.

On the other hand Chi Zhoufan flew at high speed through the air and arrived at a place that was quite far from the North Wind Fortress. There Chi Zhoufan found no alliance troops but rather a figure of a man wearing a black robe and a white hood.

“Are you behind all this?!” Chi Zhoufan looked at the white hooded man.

The white hooded man looked back at Chi Zhoufan and smiled smirked.

“How is my death soldier? You were held there for five days while something happened in Zhangdu.” The white-clad man slowly rose from his seat on the large rock and raised his right hand.

“You are not a cultivator of the Zhang Empire! Whoever you are I will ensure your death today!” Chi Zhoufan took out a large amount of Qi and flicked his finger.

“Prison Four Elements!”

Instantly a large transparent dome was created confining Chi Zhoufan and the white hooded man.

“Hahahaha! Intending to restrain myself? I thank your bravery it's old grandpa!” The white hooded man threw his hood and smiled looking at Chi Zhoufan.

The man named Liu Fen flicked his finger and showed his strength to Chi Zhoufan. The rocks and ground around Liu Fen changed their shape into a kind of golem and moved to attack Chi Zhoufan.

Chi Zhoufan opened his palm and took out a sword with a red blade. Then with such a swift movement Chi Zhoufan destroyed all the golems Liu Fen had created.

“I heard that your strength is the greatest in this country, right? Only a few people can fight you! So I want to show you an art!”

Chi Zhoufan's eyes widened as a chest was created in front of Liu Fen. One of the four crates opened and showed the figure of an old grandfather who was his old friend.

“Wu... Ao..”

“Hahahaha! Yes he is Wu Ao the Dragon Scepter that he killed! I intend to make you the third collection for my precious art!” liu Fen said frankly.

All these things that happened made Chi Zhoufan angry. The swords Chi Zhoufan clasped were filled with burning flames and in an instant their battle location was filled with blazing flames.

Liu Fen frowned when he realized Chi Zhoufan's overflowing ability.

“The battle of fellow Earth Realm Cultivators is about to happen! Come on Chi Zhoufan!” shouted Liu Fen.

With all his anger Chi Zhoufan shot at high speed attacking Liu Fen but his movement was blocked by Wu Ao using a golden colored staff.

“Wu Ao? Wait a minute, I will relieve you of this suffering!”

Chi Zhoufan was about to destroy Wu Ao's body but his movements came to a halt as he recalled his memories with Wu Ao during his lifetime.

Liu Fen also smiled cunningly seeing Chi Zhoufan's movements weaken. Then Liu Fen again showed something that made Chi Zhoufan go limp.

“Yi..” Chi Zhoufan's mouth trembled looking at the figure of the middle-aged woman coming out of the coffin.

Yes, the woman who just came out of the coffin was his late wife.
