Xu Xiao Chi's expression seemed to be in pain as he learned that his left hand had been severed by Tang Xia's sword slash. It implied on Xu Xiao Chi's face that the fight against Tang Xia would not benefit him at all.

‘Sial! This damn girl cut off my hand!’ Xu Xiao Chi cursed inwardly while keeping as far distance as possible from Tang Xia.

“I won't let you escape! Accept the consequences of all this you do!” tang Xia shouted as he flicked his blood-soaked sword Xu Xiao Chi.

Seeing that Xu Xiao Chi gritted his teeth and manipulated the ground around him. Attacks from various directions came towards Tang Xia and blocked the girl's movement.

“Do you think all this will hinder my movement?” tang Xia said after learning the distance between himself and Xu Xiao Chi was moving away.

Xu Xiao Chi frowned and looked at Tang Xia sharply. Xu Xiao Chi realized the spiritual energy around Tang Xia looked different from before.

What Xu Xiao Chi was worried about happened when a number of his attacks were unable to touch Tang Xia's body. All of the attacks that Xu Xiao Chi released vanished before touching Tang Xia's body as if the girl was neutralizing any kind of attacks that were in her attack area.

“What happened? You neutralized all my attacks!” xu Xiao Chi said and realized how bad the situation was.

“You can't beat me!” Tang Xia poured Qi energy into his sword and aimed for Xu Xiao Chi's neck.

“Sial! I can't let it all end like this!” Xu Xiao Chi realized she was not benefited in this fight and chose to keep her distance as far as possible from Tang Xia.

After walking away, Xu Xiao Chi took a peek at his body and smiled as widely as possible.

“You can't protect anyone!” xu Xiao Chi said and plucked out his own heart before throwing it at one of the residents.

After that Xu Xiao Chi's body shattered and exploded. The massive explosion caused a shock wave that destroyed almost the entire capital of Luoyang.

Tang Xia with all his ability resisted the huge explosion and threw the shock wave upwards. After that Tang Xia saw the terrible destruction in the Luoyang Capital due to the massacre that Xu Xiao Chi had committed.

The capital of Luoyang, which has hundreds of thousands of residents, only leaves thousands of people. This heartbreaking tragedy made Tang Xia realize that the path they took was still too naive and cruel.

As a result of this battle Yang Ruan lost a lot of confidence from the population. Fear and despair caused many residents to lose their sense of direction and purpose.

Amidst all that Tang Xia tried to comfort Yang Ruan with Xing Rou. This incident they had never expected even Xing Rou to be unable to predict it.

“If only my strength could be used as usual, then this incident would not happen!” xing Rou said feeling guilty as she looked at the many corpses strewn across the Capital's courtyard.

Meanwhile Yang Ruan was so desperate and looked at the corpses of Xu Kai and Liu Bai with a blank look. The two young men who became his bodyguards had been there to protect him since he was a child and now they were gone.

The deaths of Xu Kai and Liu Bai dealt a crushing blow to Yang Ruan and left him in despair. Tang Xia who was beside him was unable to do much because Yang Ruan looked so depressed.

“Sister Xia, I will never be able to carry out this task! This is too much for me!” Tang Xia's sobbing broke out when he learned of her helplessness facing all this.

“Adik Ruan..” Tang Xia was unable to speak much as he also felt a sense of despair when he did not realize that Yong Xiang was a traitor.

The incident in the Luoyang Capital really caused an uproar to the Yang Empire. What Shu En had prepared was destroyed in a day and all this became the beginning of an imminent retaliation.

On his way to the Luoyang Capital, Shu En and Lu Shin Rui never expected to hear the news of this massacre.

The two rushed over to confirm everything with their own eyes. The outside world that Xue Xiaoya saw for the first time was a tragedy and Shu En told her that in the future there would be more tragedies like this if no one threw away humanity and became a demon.

Going to leave the Luoyang Capital with a smile and return with anger was what Shu En felt. As far as the eye could see he only saw the ruins and the many bodies that were being collected.

Shu En's common sense was completely filled with anger but as much as possible he suppressed the anger.

“I will call everyone who intends to fight with me and discuss this matter! We have to take action!” shu En said as he glanced at Lu Shin Rui who was behind him.

“Aunt Lu, go meet Ruan. Right now he needs someone who can cure his mental state.”

After saying so Shu En walked over to the residents who were cleaning up the bodies run by the Capital.

“Senior Lu, I did not expect to see such a terrible thing after I came out of the Thousand Ice Mountain.” Xue Xiaoya said with a sad look.

“Junior Xue, please supervise En. I'm afraid he'll act rashly because of all this.” Lu Shin Rui patted Xue Xiaoya on the shoulder and left the girl.

Xue Xiaoya followed Shu En and helped the young man clean up the bodies of the massacre victims.

“Zhao Tian..” Shu En looked at Zhao Tian's corpse then closed his eyes slowly.

This sad news had truly been a crushing blow to him. Shu En cursed himself for trusting someone too much. Eventually all of this caused her to take a different action than before.
