While Yang Ruan was at Yang Palace with Tang Xia, Shu En moved towards Liuwu City with Xu Kai and Liu Bai. The distance between Liuwu City and Xudong City was arguably not too far away and only took one day.
With a makeshift army, Shu En led the assault. Xu Kai and Liu Bai entrusted this attack to Shu En and both followed Shu En's orders.
The situation in Liuwu City was arguably very chaotic even that place could not be said to be the trading center of the Yang Empire. The massacre that the Seven Colors Pagoda carried out a few weeks ago still left a deep pain.
And the mastermind who worked with Xu Wang was very surprising because many imperial officials helped. Currently one of the higher-ups of the Seven Colors Pagoda who controlled Liuwu and took all forms of advantage there.
“Liu Bai, how did you survive from there?” Shu En asked because there were three higher-ups of the Seven Color Pagoda.
“I should have been dead by then. But when the higher-ups named Xiong Ni was about to kill me the deer horde suddenly came.” Liu Bai vilified and of course Shu En was in disbelief.
“You said the truth, didn't you?” Shu En tried to make sure.
“Maybe it's hard to believe, but it's a real occurrence.”
“Liu Bai, Xu Kai, the hidden abilities within you are very useful! I must tell you, I hate treason! Never betray me if you want to stay alive!”
Shu En threatened Liu Bai and Xu Kai simultaneously. Both of them could clearly see Shu En's cold gaze and the changing aura around the young man. The killing lust Shu En unleashed was intense and terrifying.
‘I didn't see wrong, did I? Mr. Shu is like a different person!’ Xu Kai bathed and worked his eyes several times to be sure.
‘I didn't mean to lie, but that's exactly what happened!’ Liu Bai tried to stand up straight because for a few seconds his feet trembled feeling the lust of killing Shu En.
Seeing Liu Bai and Xu Kai still standing, Shu En smiled and invited them to continue their journey.
By the time it was late at night they had arrived at Liuwu City. Of course they were all greeted unfriendly. Around twenty cultivators stood guard in front of the city gates and they were all at the stage of the Sacred Realm.
Looking at the abilities of the Seven Color Pagoda cultivator, Shu En sighed because with the troops it was not impossible to flatten three cities or one sect.
“Xu Kai, Liu Bai, inside the same there are about a hundred cultivators whereas we only have fifty troops. I'll see.” Shu En.
“Good, Mr. Shu.” Xu Kai led the army with Liu Bai.
The city gate opened and showed the cultivators of the Seven Colors Pagoda who had just arrived. The unbalanced combat power made the troops that Xu Kai and Liu Bai had brought down decisively.
Shu En is unhelpful and only sees how unbalanced the battle is. The actions of Xu Kai and Liu Bai who did not let his subordinates die left Shu En in awe.
“Feifei, help them.”
Shu En summoned the Fire Phoenix and it made the imperial army more advantaged. However there was a reason why Shu En had summoned Feifei, all of which had to do with Xu Kai's hidden ability.
The battle situation changed quickly. Feifei's help allowed Xu Kai and Liu Bai to overcome the enemy with their cooperation.
Just as Xu Kai was about to enter the city gate with his troops, a bullet-shaped shard of ice pierced through the heads of the ten imperial troops and killed them in an instant.
“What?!” Xu Kai was startled and instantly dodged as he felt a great killing appetite.
Members of the Seven Colors Pagoda within the city also arrived. Not only its members, but there was Xiong Ni who was one of the seven higher-ups of the Seven Colors Pagoda.
“You're a little late! Everyone in this city is dead!”
The burly man holding the ice-formed sword said to Liu Bai and Xu Kai.
“Your movement is very fast! It is a pity that the officials who worked with us have been killed! But I didn't expect you guys to dare challenge us!”
Xiong Ni also released large amounts of ice chips and directly aimed at the imperial army. The cultivation level of Xiong Ni that was stronger than Xu Kai and Liu Bai made the fighting spirit of the imperial army weaken.
“Feifei, return.”.
Just as the Fire Phoenix was about to attack Xiong Ni with its flames, Shu En instead told him to return.
“Are you guys afraid of someone like him?!” Shu En said to the imperial troops while walking calmly.
The imperial troops looked at each other. They all do not know Shu En's true abilities, they only know that Shu En is Yang Ruan's advisor because he has a handsome face and intelligent thinking.
“We cannot possibly win against a cultivator who is at the Sky Realm stage!”
Hearing their rant only made Shu En smile. Indeed Xiong Ni had reached the Sky Realm, yet their abilities were far different. In terms of Qi perfection and the techniques they mastered were very different.
“You are just an advisor! You have no right to give us orders!” One of the soldiers said so and made Xu Kai want to reprimand him.
But Shu En stopped him and said, “What if I beat them all?”
The soldier was silent for quite a while before answering lightly.
“It's impossible you can beat them!”
“Alright, I will show you how to fight!”
As Shu En said so, the aura around him changed. The ice flakes Xiong Ni directed were smashed easily.
“What happened? You destroyed my ice shard?!” Xiong Ni was startled and looked at Shu En vigilantly.
“Peach Darkness..”
In one breath, Shu En created a jet-black sword from the aura of his body and instantly moved to attack the cultivator of the Seven Colors Pagoda.
“Devil Sword Dance!”
What the imperial troops saw was the massacre that Shu En had committed against the cultivators of the Seven Colors Pagoda. The originally Seven Color Pagoda cultivators thought it could gang up on Shu En, precisely those who were trying to escape from being killed by Shu En.

“I heard you snatched away all of Liu's noble possessions and sold hundreds of girls to the Tang Empire.”.
“I'll make sure you die in a way that suffers terribly!” shu En said furiously.
Shu En's dense murderous aura made it difficult for everyone around him to breathe including Xu Kai, Liu Bai and the Imperial forces.
‘Whose crazy person is this?! I'll die if I fight him!’ Xiong Ni gulped as he found out the distance the power held far between himself and Shu En.
“Liu Bai, Xu Kai, which one of you wants to fight this motherfucker?” Shu En asked the two men for wanting to see how determined they were.
“I will fight him! I will avenge the deaths of all those who have been killed by him!”
Liu Bai advanced with fury. Just as Liu Bai was beside him, Shu En forcefully nudged his meridian points and made Liu Bai's hidden power come out on its own.
“Master Shu! What are you doing?!”
Liu Bai looked at Shu En warily as he felt his body filled with a pitch-black aura.
“Liu Bai, I took out your abilities forcibly. Night, darkness and shadow are your abilities. Use that and show that you deserve to be my subordinate and can protect Yang Ruan.”
Knowing Shu En's intentions made Liu Bai smile. Liu Bai did not know that he had hidden potential, but thanks to all this he was able to fight Xiong Ni confidently.
“Underestimating someone also has a limit! I'm gonna kill you! I'll kill you!”
The humiliated Xiong Ni released a murderous aura to Shu En, but the murderous aura instantly vanished as Shu En fought him off.
“What?!” The angry Xiong Ni returned in fear.
“If you can kill him, maybe I'll let you go.” Shu En gave a glimmer of hope to Xiong Ni to escape.
Hearing that Xiong Ni instantly turned his attention to Liu Bai and smiled a triumphant grin.
“I remember you! You are the son of the woman I fucked, aren't you?! Your father was killed by those who betrayed him! Very unfortunate fate!” xiong Ni said provokingly.
A pitch-black aura instantly spread from Liu Bai's body and formed a harima mouth that pounced on Xiong Ni.
“Good, go!”
The battle between Xiong Ni and Liu Bai began.
