After continuing the journey from the Uninhabited City, Shu En and Lu Shin Rui had arrived at their next location, the Yellow Bamboo Forest.

Based on the information from Lu Shin Rui the Yellow Bamboo Forest was the location of the once existing sect residence in the Yang Empire. But just like what happened to the Rainy Season Valley, the Yellow Bamboo Forest was taken over by Tang Empire cultivators before it was finally destroyed.

“So about the past three years, the Yellow Bamboo Forest was one of the big sects in the Yang Empire. It all started with an intruder and betrayal before they were finally destroyed.” Shu En responds to Lu Shin Rui's story.

“We don't know what's inside this forest so stay alert En.” Lu Shin Rui reminded.

Finally, the two walked side by side while watching the situation around him. Shu En repeatedly checked the presence of someone to ensure safety, but he could not feel the presence of someone about 30 KM from him.

Until finally after Shu En and Lu Shin Rui arrived at a hill surrounding a yellow bamboo tree, the existence of hundreds of people was so pronounced and made both choose to stop walking.

Lu Shin Rui also observed from the top of the hill with Shu En before finally the woman explained to Shu En about some important figures in the Yellow Bamboo Forest.

”As I recall about twenty years ago there was a young genius cultivator named Cao Jin from the Yellow Bamboo Forest. I think this aura is his. I've met him in the past and he can be our ally, En.” Lu Shin Rui said.

“But after what happened to the Yellow Bamboo Forest, I think this is not easy,” Lu Shin Rui added.

“If inviting in a good way can not, I have no other choice Aunt Lu.” Shu En responded with a faint smile, “I will use force depending on their answer!”

Lu Shin Rui also let out a long sigh because of Shu En's passionate attitude to fight. Indeed Lu Shin Rui was still hard to believe if a sixteen year old young man of his cultivation had reached the God Realm, but when he heard for himself how Shu En's past finally Lu Shin Rui believed him.

Finally Cao Jin ordered the cultivators besieging Shu En to retreat. A conversation ensues between Shu En and Cao Jin after learning of the location to which both are headed.

“I heard from the birds if you helped the Empire that didn't you? I thought you were my age but you were so young. Can you tell me what your name is, junior?” Cao Jin asked as he watched Shu En's cultivation which was hard for him to read.

“I like people who have guts! Sorry for my stupidity! I will give you an answer about your invitation to help the military forces of the Tang Empire.” Cao Jin also stared at Shu En sharply before giving an answer, “We who are the remnants of the Yellow Bamboo Forest cultivators will not be involved in government affairs!”

Hearing that answer Shu En chuckled and gave a warning to Cao Jin if such stubbornness would bring calamity.

“This is about the Yang Empire and not a political issue. You think I used Ruan, don't you? If you think like that, then you're wrong, Senior.” Shu En also showed his body aura and made Cao Jin gasp in shock.

“Patriark!”

“Away from him Patriarch!”

Some members of the Yellow Bamboo Forest instantly protected Cao Jin, but suddenly their bodies felt so heavy. The bullying pressure that Shu En released was as if controlling the surrounding gravity as he pleased.

“You! Are you planning to provoke a dispute here?!” said Cao Jin.

“I told you it all depends on your answer!”

Suddenly a smack on Shu En's stomach greeted him warmly. Shu En saw Lu Shin Rui reprimanding him and did not take the violent path.

Seeing Shu En's attitude that changed drastically after Lu Shin Rui's reprimand left Cao Jin astonished.

Feeling challenged Shu En also shook hands with Cao Jin. After that Cao Jin asked Lu Shin Rui to be the referee for his second fight, but suddenly Shu En asked all the cultivators of the Yellow Bamboo Forest to jointly attack him.

Hearing that Cao Jin frowned and immediately looked at Shu En sharply.

“Did you underestimate me?!”

“I do not underestimate you at all, Senior Cao!”

That brief conversation became the beginning of Cao Jin's fight with Shu En.
