The sound of the two swords touching each other echoed. At the top of Lightning Hill was a fierce fight between Shu En and Wu Tian. The exchange of attacks created a shockwave that kept everyone away from them.

“Looks like your sword wasn't old grandpa blunt!” shu En said with a big smile.

“You should I teach you how to speak politely to an older person, young man!” suhoor Wu Tian.

“I'm not interested in that, old man! I grew up surrounded by demons and you told me to be a polite human being?!” Shu En greeted Wu Tian's sword slash before stepping softly and releasing a kick.

“Do not joke!” shu En said with an angry expression.

Everyone who saw this fight was talking to each other. No one had ever expected something like this to happen on Lightning Hill.

“Not Lord Wu seen enjoying this fight?”

“True once, it's been a long time I didn't see his swordplay.”

The sound of people watching was talking. They all hoped that Wu Tian could win this fight and again take over the position of Lightning Hill Patriarch.

But not everyone had one vote, some expected Shu En to win the fight and become the new Patriarch of Lightning Hill. With his rapidly growing cultivation, as well as his ability to fight at a young age, they hoped that Shu En could bring the Lightning Hill back to its former glory.

“I don't know who that young man is, but I hope he wins this fight and becomes our new leader.” One of the spectators commented.

“With his authoritative and intimidating figure, I feel at ease if I have such a leader!” Others responded.

The fight is still fierce. The sell and buy attack between Wu Tian and Shu En really made everyone watching tick in awe.

Wu Tian intended to defeat Shu En with some sword techniques, but the old man realized Shu En's abilities were far above his.

“Defense basis!” Wu Tian smiled with a grin as Shu En tried to hide his abilities.

“Use all your abilities, old man! You can't hurt me if you underestimate me!” said Shu En preparing to welcome Wu Tian's attack.

The Qi flow on Wu Tian's sword started to flow calmly. As Wu Tian swung his sword swiftly, Shu En greeted him nimbly.

The two sword slashes clashed fiercely. Sparks of fire were seen as the two swords rubbed against it. A second later Wu Tian's sword was shrouded in a small lightning bolt before propagating into Shu En's sword.

“Even you are just tingling and not experiencing paralysis for a few minutes!” Wu Tian was also surprised.

“Your cultivation is in the God Realm isn't it?” wu Tian said and made the people who were looking dumbfounded hear him.

Besides Lu Shin Rui and Cao Jin would naturally be shocked when he heard this. There had never been a single human in the Yang Empire who had broken through the realm. Although there were all those people in the past before they were all slaughtered by the Immortal Race.

“You can assume as you like, old man.” Shu En flicked his sword before taking a deep breath in one breath.

With such a rapid movement Shu En unleashed a streak of swords. It was obvious that Wu Tian had trouble keeping up with Shu En's swordplay, whose rhythm was hard to guess.

‘His age is very young and he is so talented. With that ability he could become a haughty cultivator, yet he chose to take a different path.’ Wu Tian bathed while trying to keep up with Shu En's swordplay.

After exchanging attacks for almost an entire hour, the winner of this fight was clearly seen. Shu En managed to defeat Wu Tian after the man dropped his sword while trying to fend off the sword slash Shu En fed with Qi.

Wu Tian's right hand was visibly wounded by Shu En's sword slash. After the fight ended Shu En healed Wu Tian's right hand and praised the move Wu Tian took.

“With this I can be proud to have defeated you, old man!”

Wu Tian laughed heartily as he had not expected to be saved by Shu En. The old grandfather held onto Shu En's shoulder and smiled proudly.

“You won, young man. You are the one who has the right to be the ruler of this hill. I'll leave everything to you.”

That day Shu En officially became the new Patriarch of Lightning Hill. However this leadership did not last long as one minute after he was crowned, Shu En appointed Wu Tian as the Patriarch of Lightning Hill after himself.

“Didn't you hear what you said?!” Wu Tian held back his anger as Shu En looked joking.

“I heard everything, but I'm not interested in something like this. I have a much bigger plan than this secluded place.” Shu En held onto Wu Tian's shoulder then said, “With this I Shu En gave the position of Lightning Hill Patriarch to Senior Wu Tian!”

“Everybody agrees, right?!” shu En shouted.

All of the Lightning Hill cultivators glanced at each other before they chuckled and smiled widely.

“We do not refuse your orders, Patriarch!”

Shu En chuckled as he looked at Wu Tian who let out a long sigh.

“You can't refuse him, old man.”

Wu Tian could only accept the position because the leader was free, besides he also wanted to make amends while serving as the Patriarch of Lightning Hill in the past.
