Chapter 8: Starting a fight against unlocking the system inventory

"You!!!", the King shouted furiously.

"You don't have to worry about that brat being my king. Do you want me to silence him?", One of the royal guards said.

[Lack of Darkness]!

I chanted and directed to all the guards present in the throne room so that no one other than the heroes and Kings would be left in the room. Several heroes except the goblin hero and the other baseman heroes were shocked after seeing me kill all the royal guards of the King.

“Now old man, what will you do without your bodyguard?”, I rudely asked the king.

The king felt anxious and worried because he thought that everything would go smoothly without any casualties, but he did not expect that the person who destroyed half of his palace would also kill most of his royal guards without even feeling tired. The king was silent for a moment and spoke,

"Do as you please .... You head to the eleven kingdoms to meet the elf hero. Make sure that you heroes won't do pointless fighting."

"Can I bring a level 2 human hero? He seems to need to level up. I don't mind helping him. He looks promising and I'm sure we'll get along well", I asked the king.

"As I said, do as you please... I won't interfere in your affairs, but I suggest that you defeat some monsters so that you can level up. It is better if you become an adventurer so that you can earn money while defeating monsters" said the king.

"So you won't give us any money!!!",

I asked the king while releasing my killing intent to threaten him which frightened him.

The atmosphere was a little uncomfortable as I let go of my killing intent. If I use psychology to read their minds then what the other heroes think is how many people I have killed in my previous life that produced very uncomfortable killing intent.

"A-is this guy even a hero-he.", The human hero with short black hair said.

"Give me Eldion's precious artifact. If you have a legendary level magic stone for Intelligence then please give it to me", I said to the king.

"Ok hero-sama. Our Nation has 2 legendary level magic stones that enhance Intelligence and I plan to give them to other heroes but since you need them and you are a match for the Witch then I will give them to you as instead." said the king.

"Thank you very much!", I greet the king.

The king gave me two orange runes that were as big as oranges. I received it then I broke it which then activated the magic stone effect.

Since it is a legendary level magic stone that enhances Intelligence, my intelligence is permanently enhanced by 200 thousand. This has been very helpful for my growth and I can now at least match the demon generals with my current strength.

*Host has a lot of Intelligence statistics and the system is proud of your growth so the system will give you a gift box and will later be sent to the host system inventory.*

'Wait.. do I have inventory?'

*Host has opened this feature a while ago after the host obtained a system related achievement that atlas has one ability that has 1M stat.*

"I'll check my inventory later."

"Curtain! Why did that person get a precious artifact while we got nothing?", said the brown-haired human hero.

"If you have a problem with that, go up against a level 500 fire dragon with only a level 21 status. If you can achieve it, I will also give you the gift of an artifact" said the king.

"The hero defended my kingdom from the attack of the great fire dragon despite his weak level. He fought for my kingdom so it would be impolite for me if I did not compensate him for his noble deeds!", the King added.

"That still doesn't mean that he can get something as valuable as a legendary magic stone, let alone he get two of them" said the brown-haired human hero.

"There's a problem, punk!!!", I said while releasing another killing intent that made the hero fall to the ground while peeing in his own pants.

I started to approach it then I activated the firewall in my hand whose fire was purple, not the usual orange color.

"That-that!"

"This fire is stronger than an ordinary fireball. After increasing my Intelligence stats, my magic power increased to another level! I can even defeat all the heroes here if I want to!", I said to the human hero with a hair brown.

Zale then whispered to Mathew which I heard thanks to my high status which allowed my body to increase to another level including improving my hearing.

"Should we defeat the human hero or Axel alone? I think he's the one who's arrogant here" Zale whispered to Mathew.

"If you can defeat Axel then you will become my master, but if you can't, good luck!", Mathew whispered back to Zale.

The human hero with brown hair fell silent after hearing what I said. He froze in fear after I intimidated him.

"Let's go, guys! We'll hunt a level 500 dragon again! Let's go to the dragon mountain where most dragons live."

Zale, Sophie, and Mathew fell silent for a while, and Mathew spoke up,

"Are you that we are still below level 100? I can understand if you want to go to a monster residence that mostly has level 100 monsters and above. but you want us to go to a place where we will die just by entering it? Then no, thank you!"

"Good! Let's go to the monster where you live the cowardly cats!"

I said to them while gesturing using my hand which meant following me.

They understood my signal and then followed me who left the human hero in the palace. The level 2 human hero also followed me since I told the king to take him with me.

Human heroes with black hair, Zale, Sophie, Mathew and I went to the Inn to put on our clothes to fight.

We headed to the Adventurers guild to register as adventurers so that we could take some guild quests and earn some money. Because I received no money from the king but a magic stone so we had no money.

“What's your name, human hero?”,

I asked the human hero with the pitch-black hair who was coming with us. It will be easier to know the name so that we can communicate with each other more easily.

"I'm Damien Miles. Nice to meet you and thank you for accepting me as your teammate!", The human hero with the pitch-black hair introduced himself.

"It's good to see you too, Damien. You can call me Axel which is short for Axel Everheart, he is Zale Pallius, the goblin hero is Mathew Light while the other beastman hero is Sophie Evangeline.", I introduced myself while introducing others .

After introducing myself, We headed to the Adventurers Guild where the staff and the one responsible for registering us was a woman in her 20s in armored attire who looked like someone ready for battle.

He spoke to us and told us the requirements to join the adventurer guild. He told us to put our hands on the magic stone that would show our talent and status that displays our stats, he said, but after I put my hand on the magic stone it suddenly broke. The adventures that exist in the guild including those that test us are surprised by the results.

"Do you probably have a stat higher than 100k?", The woman who tested us asked me.

"Yes, you're right. I have at least 100 thousand stats in power and at least 1 million stats in Intelligence."

All the adventurers in the guild were shocked by the amount of stats I had and even my teammates were shocked. They did not expect that I was this strong and now they understood why I wanted to go to Dragon Mountain. That's because defeating a dragon is too easy for me.

"I'm sorry because I'm going to tell the union chairman and you might rise the ranks because of your overwhelming strength.",

Said the woman. He went to the door behind the counter and then came back and said,

"Guild Master asks for your presence so that he can evaluate your strength instead."
