The Goblin'S Leveling System

The Goblin'S Leveling System
Chapter 17: Universal Steal is The Source of Trouble

Mathew's hands began to shine with a bright white light that blinded us all. A bright white light covered the entire forest that even alerted most of the surrounding dragons. The ground started to tremble as light enveloped the places around Dragon Mountain.

The ground shook violently and the magnitude of the man-made earthquake continued to increase as light enveloped most of the places near Dragon Mountain resulting in cracks in the world's crust that caused some living creatures on or near the Mountain Dragon approaching.

the source is Mathew or evacuate to other places that are not affected by the earthquake. Countless beings who are considered strong but not as strong as our beginnings to surround Dragon Mountain leave us with no way out. .

Despite the many powerful beings around us, they remain silent and observe us about what we will do next. I threw the [Shadow Barrier] and the entire place was enveloped by shadows blocking the light, but every minute passed, the power of light grew stronger and stronger until I could not even resist it destroying the [Shadow Barrier] .

'Universal Steal Mathew's ability is starting to make me dizzy. I can't even resist the power it unleashed using a barrier infused with magic that has an intelligence stat of 60 million. It's out of my reach.'

Sophie began to insert her shadow magic into my [Shadow Barrier] which greatly strengthened the barrier because she had a shadow manipulation ability stronger than me.

We started to hold the light but it did not hold as the light continued to become stronger than before. Finally, the [Shadow Barrier] that Sophie and I threw was not strong enough to withstand the power of the bright white light so it shattered in just 5 minutes.

More powerful beings started to gather and some of them even came from the demon race. Most of the demons are only at the warrior rank while some of them are at the leader rank so their strength is not a threat to us but their strength in numbers masks their power shortage.

There were at least 5000 demon soldiers and 100 demon leaders. I threw some [Explosive Fireballs] towards the army and the demon leaders and they stood still, not planning to dodge or retreat as if they were planning to withstand my attack.

Some black flames formed into fireballs that shot into the sky and bombarded the demons at high speed. The black fireball started burning most of the demon soldiers and some of them even blasted the demons into pieces.

Screams could be heard as some demons were being burned alive. Even they could not cope with the agonizing pain of being burned alive using one of my simplest yet powerful spells coupled with my incredible Intelligence stat.

There were at least 1391 demon soldiers and 58 demon leaders left. I raised my hand and threw the [Explosive Fireball] and several black fireballs appeared above me.

I waved my hand and pointed it towards the demon. The black fireball followed my orders and before I launched it towards the demons, I was stopped by their sudden actions.

They held a ten-meter pole with a square white cloth on it forming a white flag and they hoisted it. In other words, they admit defeat.

I am not stupid to accept that they give up without ulterior motives, so I follow what my instincts say and say that I need to exterminate them to avoid potential threats.

Although they cannot hurt me for now and are not considered a threat but the future is unknown, so what if they become stronger? I will be put in an unfortunate situation so I have to

'You can never be too careful. I will not risk the demons getting stronger as time goes on!'

I launched a black fireball towards the demon and the sound of explosions rang throughout the forest. The screams of pain could be heard. The devil who wants to attack us is attacked by us. This is a one-sided battle.

'Calling it a battle is too shameless for a demon. It's called a massacre!'

Some demons have survived my attack.

'What if I use only my physical strength?'

I tightened my fist and launched it towards the remaining demons.

A huge shockwave was formed by my fist and the entire forest where I launched my fist was destroyed. Not a single tree survived.

The impact of my first trip through the entire forest and hit the demons that smashed them into pieces until nothing was seen, not even their corpses.

My fist hit the mountain and continued to smash through the mountain until it hit the mountain where the dragon king was supposed to live in.

Although it did not destroy the entire dragon king mountain, a crater could be seen with my fist prints.

"Stat the strength of 68 million is not something to be booed!",

I'm bragging. My teammates were stunned after they found out that I was and not only in magic but also physical strength.

"I forgot to tell you that my cheat ability is that I can use magic without singing, Omni affinity, and stat absorption.",

"I can absorb my opponent's stat and use it permanently as my own makes my level useless. I can even beat level 10,000 despite level 2000. I can also absorb my opponent's affinity but have conditions that must be met before I can activate his ability", I added.

'It's okay to tell them this much, right? As they say, trust is the foundation of friendship.'

"It's too strong! Forget about defeating the demon lord, you might even ascend to become a god!", exclaimed Zale.

"I can feel your chance of becoming a God!", added Zale.

'Being a God ...

I never thought of such a wish. I haven't thought of becoming a god even if it's from my last life. I had the power to overthrow an entire nation from my last life using the power of technology but I never felt the desire to conquer the whole world.'

"I also believe that you have the potential to become a god" Sophie said.

“Of course my dear has the potential to become a God! I have eyes to find talent!”, Aerin replied to Sophie.

“Being a God is too troublesome and I have no desire to become a God.”, I lazily reply to them.

“There are still beings from other races waiting for what will happen to the light cast by Mathew. Better we stay alert or we will be ambushed by the enemy.”, I remind my teammates.

They all nodded to me to show that they had understood what I meant.

The light Mathew emitted from his Universal Steal shone brighter than ever until it shone through the entire forest.

The light suddenly formed a magic wand and after the light disappeared, a magic wand with a stick made of wood, vines, and vines surrounded the green magic ball that was emitting magic. Mathew is holding a magic wand now.

"It was an elf treasure known as the Natural Magic Wand. It is at the god rank and can only be used if you have an interest in natural magic," Aerin said as he pointed at the wand.

'System, what's the artifact's rank?'

*Artefact rankings have the same skill rank. From the weakest to the strongest; General, Rare, Rare, Epic, Unique, Legendary, Mythical, Sacred, Deity, Divine, God, and lastly Beyond God.*

'That's a lot of levels. I don't even know if I can get a God-ranked artifact and I can't even use the God-ranked skill I obtained because it requires a lot of mana and my magic ability isn't too high for having the ability to use a god-ranked Skill.'

*God ranking skills are available in the system store at level 8.*

'How much?'

* Hosts have limited access to confidential information. The system advises hosts to start increasing the level of the system to have access to confidential information.*

"Now what should we do with the Natural Magic Staff?", I asked my teammates.

"I have to use it because I am from eleven kingdoms and I have an interest in natural magic" Aerin replied.

We all agreed and we knew that he could use the Natural Magic Staff to the maximum. Aerin might become stronger than before if she used a magic wand.

"No! Don't steal my precious baby! I stole it fairly! Go steal another wand but don't steal mine!!", cried Mathew as he held the wand tightly and backed away from us.

"So this is what Mathew meant about the side effects of Universal Steal. Should we beat him up so he knows that stealing is bad?", I asked my teammates.

"Are we not the reason why he stole it?" asked Sophie.

"I forgot it... I'm going to cast my magic now and hopefully, she'll recover" I replied to Sophie.

"[Restoration]!", I cast while a holy light shone from my hand towards Mathew.
