Chapter 25: Riding A Sword And System Upgrade!

I controlled the great elemental sword to soar downwards and land on the ground.

We stepped on the large elemental sword and sat down.

Zale, Aerin, and I were currently sitting on an elemental sword while I was trying to manipulate the elemental sword to float in midair.

I controlled the large elemental sword to take off and it flew into the sky as we rode it.

We found some giants that were in the forest as well as some other monsters that we had yet to encounter.

Since there are other monsters then there must be some new artifacts that we can get if we kill that monster.

If a giant can give me a gigantism ring, then I might get a fire breath ring if I kill a dragon.

It will be cool but I can already do it because I have the skill [Dragon Roar]..

We continued riding the large element swords while admiring the beautiful forest scenery from above.

'So this is what birds can see if they fly this high? Although I can use [Dragon Wings], I still can't fly that high because my body still can't resist the change in air pressure.'

'We can fly this high using a great element sword because I manipulated the element sword to withstand the pressure for us that allows us to fly high in the sky.'

We were in the sky for at least an hour and since it was already afternoon and the sun was shining brightly on us, I used [Mana Barrier] to protect us from the sun's ultraviolet radiation.

'We can't risk getting sunburned! Better safe than sorry.'

Because it was late afternoon, my stomach was rumbling and I started to get hungry as time went on.

"Zale and Aerin, are you both hungry?"

"I thought you'd never ask! I want some more dragon meat, but put some chili sauce on it!" said Zale.

"I want dragon meat with stewed vegetables" said Aerin.

"Wait a minute, I'll cook the dragon meat and prepare our lunch."

I took out an iron skillet from the system inventory and some dragon meat.

I threw [Fire] at the bottom of the frying pan and put the dragon meat on the frying pan and waited until it was ripe.

The hissing sound could be heard and the sweet aroma of fried dragon meat made us even hungrier while continuing to wait until it was ripe.

I was a bit impatient but I still survived because dragon meat is best when eaten cooked.

The dragon meat finally ripened and I took out some chili sauce from the system inventory and I dripped the chili sauce onto the dragon meat and served it on a plate I took from the system inventory.

I gave the dragon meat with chili sauce to Zale and he ate it with pleasure.

I took out some vegetables, water, and an iron pot from the system inventory.

I put the water in the cooking pot and threw [Fire] at the bottom of the cooking pot to let the water boil.

I wait at least 5 minutes before washing the vegetables and putting the vegetables in boiling water.

I waited another 5 minutes before adding some herbs and seasonings into the boiling water.

After the vegetables were boiled in a pot for 3 minutes, I added the dragon meat and waited until they were cooked before serving in a bowl.

I gave the dragon meat vegetable soup to Aerin and he drank and devoured the soup happily.

I took out some ghost peppers from the system inventory and some kind of dragon meat so I could cook my lunch.

I washed the iron pot and threw [Fire] at the bottom of the iron pot.

I put the dragon meat on the frying pan and a hissing sound rang out as the dragon meat was fried.

I made chili sauce using ghost peppers and some other seasonings and dripped chili sauce onto dragon meat.

I heated the chili sauce with dragon meat and the dragon meat slowly absorbed the chili sauce.

After 4 minutes of cooking dragon meat with chili sauce, I serve it on rice and there it is; dragon meat curry!

He ate and devoured the dragon meat curry with delight as I felt a burning sensation on my tongue and a pungency that carried the taste of chili and fried dragon meat.

Zale, Aerin, and I had our lunch for at least ten minutes and I washed the dishes before putting them into the system inventory.

We continued riding the large elemental swords with full bellies and scoured the forest to find the monsters we were going to target.

We found some tree spirits and we agreed that we would fight them so that we could obtain many unique rank artifacts when we killed them.

I ordered the large elemental sword to soar downwards and land on the ground.

I controlled the large elemental sword to go into my hands and it followed my orders.

I held a large elemental sword in both of my hands while I grasped it tightly.

Regardless of the weight of the great element sword, I used it easily because I threw [Levitate] on it making it float while I gripped it which made it weightless.

I made some wind golems and since the golems were made of wind, they were not heavy, I ordered them to stand on my sword.

I hurled wind golems that made them flung into the air and they landed on the ground where the tree spirit was.

"It's a good thing I won a national baseball tournament or I wouldn't be able to pull off such an act!"

When Zale heard what Axel said, he only thought of one thing; 'What can't Axel do?!'

I used [Sight Share] and now I can see what the wind golems can see.

I ordered the wind golems to attack the tree spirits and they followed my orders.

The wind golem launched several wind explosions and wind slashes.

When the wind golems approached the tree spirit, they would attack the tree spirit with consecutive blows.

I continued to enter the mana wind golem with mana and the overwhelming whichever wave hit the wind golem which drastically increased the attack and defense of the wind golem.

The tree spirit was slaughtered and could not even fight back.

The tree spirit had no choice but to dodge the wind golem attack or defend it.

The tree spirits were slowly killed until there was nothing left.

The spirit of the tree boss appeared as soon as the tree spirit was annihilated but the tree spirit boss could not even hold the candle against the attacks of some wind golems.

After 3 minutes of continuous fighting, the spirit of the boss tree was defeated.

I threw [Dragon Wings] then rainbow-colored wings appeared on my back and I flapped them and flew towards the place where the tree spirit was defeated.

I saw some shining items on the ground where the tree spirit was killed.

I picked up the glowing items and as usual, the light on the items disappeared after I picked them up.

This is similar to what happens in a game.

I found some green rings with beautiful gold designs, some necklaces that had green gems and a green sword with some runes on it, and a sword hilt made of gold with some carvings.

I held the sword in both of my hands but unfortunately, it did not suit my taste.

I have read in the swordsmanship books that the sword must match the user and must suit their taste so that I do not bother to use it.

I threw the sword at Zale and he held it in both of his hands and after he used it for a minute, he was satisfied so he thanked me.

"I gave the sword to Zale because I found that it would suit his taste and I planned to give you the necklace and ring, Aerin but I don't know the effect of the necklace and the ring so it's yours." The safe side, I won't give it to you until I know it's safe to wear. Who knew if someone cursed this!?", I told and explained to Aerin while showing her the necklace and ring.

She was fascinated by the ring and the necklace, but she resisted the urge to wear it because she remembered that I told her about the possible dangers of the necklace and the ring.

'System, can you display information about the artifacts I obtained today?'

My eyes began to feel tired and I fell and landed on the ground and heard a 'thud' sound when I fell to the ground.

My vision began to dim until I could see nothing.

"Axhel!"

"Darling!"
