"Life is like a spinning wheel. Sometimes down, sometimes underground."

"So, five hundred years ago there was once a wave of monsters big enough. The former dark elves were so overwhelmed they had to constantly face endless monsters."
"Many dark elves have lost their lives as a result of this. Until, a man comes with great strength."
"Unfortunately, that human was not enough to fight the monsters that kept coming."
"So, that human invited the former dark elves to hide in the ground to avoid the monster wave."
"This place was built by that great man, he also taught us how to survive. A few years later, the human was intending to see the outside world to ascertain whether the monster wave was over or not."
"After the great man left this place, he never came back here again. The former dark elves thought that he was dead from the waves of monsters that had not yet ended."
"Some of the dark elves decided to catch up with him the great humans. But, whether it was a great human or a dark elf who caught up with no one came back. Finally the former dark elves decided to stay in this place, and survive until now."
Tora ended her words with a long sigh. Then he noticed every expression displayed by the three human children.
"Looking at Vira coming back together with you guys, it looks like the monster wave has ended."
Rein had a complicated look. Unexpectedly the dark elves had to live in the ground for hundreds of years, but managed to create sophisticated tools.
Come to think of it as making sense.
This place is quite small with a surface. It made the dark elves have one focal point only in the small term.
Unfortunately, it also became their weakness due to the lack of knowledge about the outside world.
That made the dark elves endangered because they had no information about the monsters they were fighting.
They were busy making various kinds of weapons, without finding out the weaknesses of the monsters they were fighting.
~ "Looks like a great human being by which we mean a human who contracts with earth spirits."
Moya's voice rang out, making Rein glance at him.
Moya who saw Rein looking at him also tried to explain.
~ "Hm, actually the monster wave happened a thousand years ago."
~ "It looks like the dark elves miscalculated the time due to staying too long in the ground."
Moya looked at Rein's face which had a puzzled expression.
~ "That's right Rein, Moya doesn't lie."
~ "A thousand years ago there was indeed a wave of monsters large enough to meet almost 80% of the earth's plains."
~ "And the creature that was almost extinct at that time was a human."
Joy chimed in on Moya's words.
~ "That's because humans are so weak."
Moya nodded.
~ "Humans are the weakest creatures among other creatures."
~ "That's why nature spirits are allowed to contract with humans to help them."
~ "Surprisingly, their population is fairly fast to exceed other creatures."
Rein had no comment on Moya's words. Maybe that's quite understandable.
~ "And for the spirit of the earth-"
~ "He's a sleepyhead."
Joy commented with a pouting face.
~ "He always sleeps, sleeps, and sleeps."
~ "How many times has Joy tried to build it to invite play, but not wake up."
Moya closed her mouth hearing Joy's grunts. That's because what Joy said was true.
Rein glanced towards Croft who was also looking at him. The corners of their mouths were both twitching. It seemed like they had a rough idea of the character of the earth spirit.
"Uncle."
Tora turned her head to the side hearing the call from Vira.
"The sky is very large. She has a bright blue color that looks beautiful. The air on the surface also feels very fresh with lots of greenery."
Vira looked at Tora's face with sparkling eyes.
"Uncle, can we live on the ground from now on?"
Tora's small heart was intrigued to hear Vira's request. He glanced at the dark elves to ask for their opinions which were countered with smiles as well as nods of the head.
Tora took a long breath. His lips curled into a smile.
Tora's words came to a halt as her ears heard the sound of quite a number of footsteps moving closer to where they were.
The dark elves who had sensitive hearing immediately rose from their positions.
"What's wrong with you all?"
Kinara asked as she was perplexed to see the dark elves simultaneously standing together.
But none of them answered his question.
"Five, ten, twenty, shit! So much."
Lais grumbled as she tried to count the creatures that wanted to come to this place.
Mey's pupils were shaking. Why would a group of monsters have to come in while they were eating?
Mey gasped at his thoughts. He immediately saw the fish that had been cooked by the dark elves. Mey shut her mouth.
"Fish! We eat fish!"
I heard Mey's voice loud enough. The dark elves immediately realized their mistake. They should not eat foods made from animals or meat.
It will make the monsters in the ground will smell the food, which is why they only eat from green plants that are not liked by monsters.
Rein had a strange expression.
"What's wrong with fish?"
"The scent of the fish has brought monsters to this place."
Giri answered Rein's question, then lowered Rein's body from his lap.
"Vira, take your friends out of this place."
The pupils of Vira's eyes trembled hearing the orders from Tora. He was not always invited to fight just because he was a child.
Vira bit her lip. He recalled how Rein and Yuda were fighting against monsters even though they were both small.
Vira clenched her hands. Then looked at Rein's face with a sparkling look.
"Rein, are we going to play?"
"The virus!!"
Vira ignored the screams from Tora who sounded angry. He repeated the question.
"Are we going to play?"
Rein's lips curved into a smile. "Of course, we'll play."
Vira smiled at Rein's reply, but his smile immediately froze and turned to look at Kinara who had a nervous expression.
Kinara looked at the gaze that Vira had directed at him. He was actually quite scared, but given those who had managed to defeat the monsters before.
They should have a chance to win this time.
"I'll stay here."
Vira smiled brightly at Kinara's words. He looked at Tora's face, then said.
"None of us will go, we will fight it together."
Tora frowned.
"That's pretty dangerous for you guys."
"Uncle."
Rein's call made Tora stare at him.
"We brought the fish here, so we'll be responsible too."
"Stay still"
"Torra."
Now Tora's gaze was on Giri who was near Rein.
"I'll take care of them."
Tora let out a long sigh hearing Giri's words. "All right, you can come."
Vira had a sparkling gaze hearing Tora's words. He immediately took out a light stone and turned it into an arrow.
"Prepare your weapons."
Croft frowned.
Why does he have a bad feeling?
