"Dad-uhukk."
'Fucking blood!!'
Curran's gaze turned murky, seeing his son covered in blood. He took a big step towards Rein, then crouched down to have his body equal to his son's.
"Yes-"
Curran put his index finger on Rein's tiny lips.
"It's okay, just spit it out."
Curran said the sentence as calmly as possible, so that his son would not panic and hold the blood that wanted to come out of his mouth.
Rein blinked innocently, he was puzzled for a moment before following the directions from Curran by spewing blood due to the side effects of using his skill.
~ "Da-blood, blood, Cutie bloody pie!!"
Joy said stammeredly, she was shocked to see Rein covered in blood. At first he thought leaving Rein with Croft would keep him safe, as Croft was a protective spirit.
However he did not expect, even with the presence of the protective spirit beside Rein still left him injured.
Joy looked at Rein with a complicated look.
While Jasvier who knew that his friend was angry just kept silent, and prepared his handkerchief to wipe the blood from Rein's face.
Rein let out a sigh of relief as he stopped coughing up blood.
"Is it done?"
Rein nodded at the question asked by Curran.
"Here, use my handkerchief."
"Thank you, Your Majesty."
Jasvier gulped, hearing Curran's quiet voice. He rubbed the back of his cold neck.
Curran cleaned the blood on Rein's face with the handkerchief. After that, put Jasvier's handkerchief in his pocket. And then raised Rein to carry him.
"What are you doing here?"
Rein looked at Curran with a plain face. She was confused as to what answer he would give her.
~ "Cutie pie, you have to answer the question of the red man. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with an old man? So, what are you-"
[ Quiet! ]
Croft glanced at Joy. He did not like Joy's words at all, which seemed to corner Rein.
Joy puffed her cheeks, then put on a pouting face, and flew behind Curran's body to hide.
"Why hm? How silent?"
Rein had a complicated mind, he wanted to lie to Curran but the atmosphere that was happening around him was completely unsupportive.
"I was wrong, this is my wish."
Rein averted his gaze from Curran's gaze, and replied with an answer that did not match the question asked.
It was impossible for Rein to tell the truth, that he went into the forest to rob a gold mine, tame a monster, then watch the fight that ended he eliminated the enemy's magic.
Rein trusted Curran, but he didn't believe it either. He did that, so as not to expect more than he had. So he didn't fall too deep when he lost it.
Something excessive is not good.
Like when we eat too much, it will cause stomach pain. Drinking too much will make the stomach bloated.
That's what that guy told her.
Curran let out a long sigh, he placed Rein's head on his shoulder.
"You must be punished."
"I understand, Father."
Rein replied lethargicly, he already had a rough idea of the punishment that Curran would give.
[It's okay Master, vegetables are good for the health of your body. ]
Rein's expression grew increasingly lethargic, hearing Croft's voice trying to calm himself down.
"Sleep."
Curran stroked Rein's head, and cast a sleeping spell on him. There are things he needs to do after this.
"Hm, what happened to young Master Rein?"
Farenzo had just finished eliminating the problem in his heart. Until the burden on his shoulders felt lighter than before.
However, in front of him right now was the tense face of Jasvier, Rein who was in a cradle, and Curran who was holding Rein with a cold look.
"Young master Rexxon, give me the body!"
Jasvier, who saw Farenzo's gaze pointing at him, nodded his head. He agreed to Curran's request, after all the witch was dead so he couldn't interrogate her.
Farenzo patted the head of the black cat he was carrying.
"Eject."
~ Good Sir.
The black cat poked out its front legs, before long a pattern formed on the ground, and appeared one body and head on it.
"Your Majesty, please protect my son."
Curran floated Rein's body with magic, then gave it to Jasvier.
Farenzo frowned, seeing Rein's body covered in blood and unconscious.
"What happened to Young Master Rein?"
"We don't know, by the time we found him he was covered in blood."
Farenzo bit his lip. His pupils trembled, he felt guilty for the condition that befell Rein.
'This is my fault. I should have instantly realized the strangeness of communicating with him, but what I did ....'
Curran burned Denzel's body with his fire, then pulled out his sword and enveloped it with fire.
"Curran, what do you want to do?"
"What do you think?"
Curran replied to the question posed by Jasvier, with another question.
"Curran, I know you're very angry. But killing all the monsters is not a good option, what if you get hurt? What will I tell Rein later?"
Jasvier tries to hold Curran to do something dangerous.
"You take it easy Your Majesty, I will help young Master Curran."
Farenzo replied calmly to Jasvier, then pulled his sword back and enveloped the sword with an aura of darkness.
Curran glanced at Farenzo for a bit, before darting away from the spot.
Joy looked at Rein who was in Jasvier's arms.
~ "Red man, I'll help you kill the monsters!"
A rough wind enveloped Joy's entire body, then darted in search of the monster along with Curran.
"Blue."
The black cat descended from the sling, then turned its body into a large one.
Farenzo climbed onto the body of the Black Tiger, and gave the order to move.
"Come on."
Jasvier let out a long sigh, staring at their departure. He has a complicated mind.
"It can't be allowed to."
Although they were only monsters, their numbers still numbered in the hundreds.
Jasvier's gaze fell on the figure of Rein sleeping soundly under the spell.
"I have to wake her up."
Jasvier patted Rein's face to wake up.
"Rein, Rein, you need to wake up. You have to stop your father's madness."
Jasvier frowned looking at Rein who had not woken up as well, and he began to check on Rein's body.
"God ... The curran! You're totally nuts!"
Jasvier did not expect Curran to give his son a sleeping spell, it was fitting for Rein to stay asleep even though he was already trying to wake him up.
Jasvier laid Rein's body on the ground, then attempted to undo the spell cast by Curran.
Croft sat on Jasvier's shoulder, and counted using his finger to make a decision.
[Wake, no, wake, no, wake up. ]
[Alright I'll wake up Master. ]
Croft hovers over Rein's head, then gives her the power to undo the sleeping spell. Then he shouted near Rein's ear.
[ MASTERS!! THERE'S A DIAMOND FALLING!! ]
"Where?!"
