"Dad mint-"

"Dad, it's over. And I'm fine, no need to discuss."

Curran immediately cut off Gilbert's words that would apologize for past events that happened to him.

"Dad understand, you're an adult."

Gilbert said with a hold of sadness and bitterness when saying so.

"Of course, I'm 18 years old."

"All right, you can go."

"certain."

Curran turned towards the exit, but his steps came to a halt as he reached the entrance.

"Dad."

Curran called out in a low voice. He recalled the last mutterings from Rein.

"Yes my son."

Gilbert responded to the call from his son carefully, feeling the seriousness in his words.

"There's someone who's still selling slaves in this region. Rein had just escaped from that place before meeting me."

"Make sure they're all dead tonight, or that'll burn them alive."

After saying this, Curran left his father's office.

Gilbert's jaw hardened at the news his son had just told him.

The Xinlaire Kingdom was a kingdom that strictly prohibited the sale of slaves, that was why the King ordered every head of the territory to exterminate them and free the slaves.

It was only a few months ago that Gilbert massacred their group, but there were still some people who dared to do so. Moreover, they dared to touch his new grandson.

"Fuckin!!"

"I'm facing my Master."

A black-clothed man appeared from behind Gilbert and immediately bowed respectfully to her.

"Did you hear it?"

Gilbert asked in a cold voice and let out a hint of killing aura.

"I'm ready to take your orders."

Elgar answered firmly.

"I want to hear the news of their deaths before dinner arrives."

"I understand Mr."

After saying that, Elgar disappeared in an instant from the room.

"Hm, should I present their heads to my grandchildren?"

* * *

[Master, there are two people coming in. ]

Rein turned his head towards the open door as the two people he was referring to entered the room.

Mark walked in with a woman who had a face similar to his, and the woman was carrying a trolley containing various foods.

[The man is named Mark. ]

'Twin?'

That was what Rein had in mind when he saw the two of them.

"Young Master Rein, thank God you're awake. Mary just finished cooking food for you."

Mark said with a friendly tone and a smile painted on his face.

"Where is this?"

Rein asked even though he already knew the answer.

"You are currently in the room of young master Ran, your father."

Mark replied with the same tone and expression as before.

Rein sighed then nodded in understanding. He got off the bed and walked towards the long chair which at the table nearby was already a variety of food.

[Master, this face of a woman named Mary is too stiff. ]

Rein glanced towards the woman standing before him. He admitted that this woman named Mary was too flat for a servant.

But Rein didn't care, all he thought about right now was eating. Let's eat first then mind something else later.

Rein cut the meat with a knife, then put the meat into the mouth.

'Enak.'

A sweet smile was etched on Rein's face, he chewed slowly to enjoy the sensation of a fitting and fitting taste on his tongue.

"It's delicious."

Mark's smile deepened when he heard compliments about his sister's cooking. And the corner of Mary's mouth twitched upon hearing the praises of her cooking.

But the look in his eyes turned sharp, as he saw Rein putting aside steamed vegetables on the edge of his dinner plate.

"Young master, you should eat steamed vegetables. It's good for your body's health."

Mary said with a faint smile appearing on her face.

Rein gripped the knife tightly. She was surprised, not more precisely feeling goosebumps looking at the thin smile on Mary's face.

[Master, it seems like the woman is angry. ]

'I know, I saw it.'

[After all, why don't you eat those vegetables? ]

"I'll eat it later."

Rein said to answer Mary's words as well as answer Croft's questions.

"so."

[ Really? ]

Two different responses were countered with a nod of Rein's head.

Mary did not prolong the matter, and Croft fell silent over Rein's head.

Mark smiled. She is amused by the interaction between Rein who looks like she dislikes vegetables and Mary who asks Rein to eat vegetables.

[Master, that redhead man will go inside. ]

Rein ignored Croft's notice and continued eating.

Curran went into his room, where he saw Rein eating with Mark and Mary standing in front of him.

"Except Mark, you two can go."

Curran stopped his steps and looked towards Mary and Kendrick who were not far from him.

"I'll excuse you young master."

Kendrick bowed slightly, then walked out of the room and stood guard in front of the room.

"Young master Ran."

Mary called out in a calm voice. But that made Rein look at him.

"Say."

"Please make sure Young Master Rein eats his vegetables, as they are good for his health."

Rein glared at Mary. Mark tried to hold back his laughter.

Curran looked at Rein's dinner plate with vegetables on the edge of his dinner plate, and saw Rein glaring.

"Sure, I'll make sure of it."

"Then I'll excuse you young master."

Mary walked out of the room after bowing slightly to Curran.

Curran stretched out his hand to rub Rein's head, but Rein avoided the hand.

"Why are you avoiding?"

"The last time you touched my head, I felt sleepy and woke up in this place."

Rein answered with great emphasis in each of his words.

Curran sighed.

"That's not gonna happen."

"really?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Curran tried to wipe Rein's head, and this time Rein didn't avoid it. Then he sat down beside her.

"Why did you put that vegetable aside?"

"I don't like it."

"But you have to eat it, your body is too thin."

"I know."

Rein could only sigh knowing his poor health.

According to the memory he obtained, this child never ate for 3 days because his body was too sick to move due to being beaten.

"I've asked my father to make an adoption letter about you, so from now on you're my son. Do you understand?" curran.

Rein swallowed his food, then said.

"Why?"

Curran stared in confusion.

"What do you mean why?"

"Why do you want to adopt me? We just met, aren't you wary of me?"

Rein asked a question that was on his mind. This man's actions were too careless, what if he was taken advantage of?

It seems like he wants to use it.

"I don't feel magic in you, and your hands are too small and fragile to hold a sword. So, should I be wary of you?"

"Of course," Rein replied quickly.

"really?" curran said calmly.

"Underestimating someone who looks weak is a mistake. How about I use you?"

"It's okay."

"...."
