Suddely Became A Child's
The Eps 51

"BASIC CRAZY WOMAN!!"

Shouted a man who lost his left hand due to the slash of water from a woman covered in blood before him.

"I'm going crazy because of you."

Ellena answered in a cold voice. He spread his hands forward, a stream of water enveloping the entire body of the man with a zig zag.

A pair of blue Netra Ellena stared flatly at the frightened face of the man.

"Pardon me, I promise I won't touch your family again. I swear!"

Trash.

Krash.

Aarrrgghh.

Ellena watched as the body of the man in front of her was cut off by the water into pieces.

He turned around and looked at the various pieces of the human body for what he had done. His body was covered in blood, his gaze became mellow.

"I'm sorry I killed you."

Silent.

There was no voice responding to Ellena's words.

The corner of Ellena's mouth twitched.

"You see! Can my apology bring you back to life?!"

"Is my apology able to reunite your bodies?!"

"No! That didn't happen."

Ellena exclaimed with a trembling voice. He said without hearing the answer.

Mizu bit her lips, her eyes glazed to witness the condition experienced by Ellena.

"Your apologies can't bring my son back."

"I can't hold her."

"Aararghhhh."

~ "Elle is enough, you've already avenged them all."

Mizu flew closer, she rubbed Ellena's back to calm herself down.

Ellena regulated her hunting breath.

Tap tap tap.

"Geez, looks like we're late."

Ellena turned to the origin of the voice. He saw two silhouettes of someone, one a man and the other a woman.

"Gosh, did you just party alone?"

A long pink-haired lady who was tied up asked with a mischievous smile.

"Interesting, what just happened to the massacre here?"

A blue-haired man stared at the human body pieces scattered everywhere.

Ellena frowned. He doesn't know them both.

"Who are you?"

"Don't you answer my question first."

Splash.

Ellena heard a voice that sounded close to her ear, she threw a water slash suddenly.

Mizu blinked her eyes a few times. He was shocked to see the movements of the humans who had managed to escape his surveillance.

He became serious, then flew near Ellena with an alert attitude.

Pink hair lady chuckles at Ellena's actions.

"Honey, stop messing around."

The blue hair man rebuked him.

"All right, I'm sorry. My name is Freya, what about you?"

"Ellena."

"It's nice to meet you Elle. And this is Babo, okay enough to get there."

Morgan rolled his eyes hearing a sweet nickname from his wife.

"Let's talk outside. Babo, clear the place."

Freya grabs Ellena's hand and walks out of the building, leaving Morgan inside.

"Good honey."

Mizu tilted her head. She did not understand the behavior of the pink hair lady who was being nice to Ellena.

Ellena was confused by the quick incident that had just happened, she tried to be relaxed but did not lose her guard.

"I thank you, because my job tonight is done. Even though I can't party."

Freya stopped her steps once they had been outside the building, she stood face to face with Ellena.

"In return, I'll give you one wish."

Ellena frowned.

"You're serious?"

"of course. So, what's your request?"

Ellena remained silent. She tries to digest the behavior of a pink-haired woman named Freya. Yet failed.

"What about a cooperative relationship?"

Ellena answered with a thought in her mind.

"Well, I'll be at your house in a week's time."

"You know my house?"

"No."

Freya chuckled amusedly looking at the facial expression displayed by Ellena. He patted Ellena's head.

"Don't worry, I promised to come to your house to establish a cooperative relationship."

Ellena took a breath. He'll assume this is all nonsense.

"I'll be back."

"Alright, be careful on the road."

Ellena ignored Freya's words. He walked away from the place.

"Woman's gone?"

"That's right."

Freya hugged her husband's burly body.

"Babo, sometimes even something soft can be dangerous, if you mess with it."

"I don't understand what you're saying."

"Bas an idiot bastard."

Morgan chuckled faintly at the swear words issued by his wife.

"Babo, let's make a fourth child. I want our son to look like me this time."

"Honey, I want it too. But we still have one more place to clear."

Freya let go of her embrace.

"Fucking old lady! He always interfered with my night. I pray that she won't be married forever!!"

Morgan hugged Freya's body from behind.

"Please Honey, the beauty will be gone."

"Otherwise if I'm not beautiful, you'll get married again!!"

Freya let go of Morgan's embrace, she turned around and kicked Morgan in the stomach.

"You bastard!"

"Honey!"

Morgan grimaced in pain, seeing Freya who had already left herself alone in this place. His wife's kick is no joke.

"Did I say something wrong?"

* * *

Uhukks.

Ellena who had just entered the room, spewed out a mouthful of blood.

~ "Elle, you're hurt inside."

~ "And you can't make potions anymore."

Mizu was worried.

Ellena was already unable to make any more potions, as she had broken their agreement by killing many people.

Sooner or later Ellena will lose her rights as a contractor.

Supposedly, Ellena lost her rights as a contractor when she died. However, this was his mistake because from the beginning he had made a pact.

If one of them breaks the agreement, then their contract will disappear for a few days later.

Ellena can't use her water power anymore.

Mizu looked at Ellena's face with a guilty feeling.

Ellena wiped the blood from her mouth.

"I'm fine Mizu. You better meet Curran, I'm worried about her situation."

~ "But Elle-"

"Mother?"

Ellena's body stiffened hearing her son's voice sounding very close to her.

"What happened to you, Mother?"

Ellena turned to the origin of the voice, and looked at Curran who was standing not far from her. He glanced around, it turned out that the room he entered was his son's room.

"Mother, why are your clothes covered in blood?"

"Don't love, Mom's clothes aren't covered in blood. Maybe you saw it wrong."

Ellena smiled wryly, feeling guilty for taking advantage of her ailing son by lying to him.

Curran saw the black clothes worn by his mother covered in blood, but the mother denied it.

Curran looked at Ellena's face with a complicated look, then he lowered his head.

"I'm sorry Mom, I think I'm hallucinating."

Ellena bit her lip.

"It's okay baby, you better take a break. I'll go back to the room."

"certain."

Curran climbed onto his bed, then covered his entire body with a blanket. Then he closed his eyes and began to fall asleep.

"Mizu, please protect my son. I'll be back."

~ "Be careful Elle."

"certain."

Mizu witnessed Ellena's departure from Curran's room. He flew up and sat down at the table close to Curran's bed.

~ "Sorry."

Mizu reflected on her mistake. If only during their first meeting, he had not applied for the conditions to become his contractor.

Maybe this won't happen.

"Mizu, what happened to my mother?"

Mizu glared in surprise, she turned her head to the side and looked at Curran who had positioned herself to be seated.

~ "you-you can hear Mizu's voice?"

"What do you think?"

Mizu. He was really surprised, because previously he had already tried to communicate with Curran many times. And it ends in failure.

But, now Curran himself was speaking to him.

"My answer is, what happened to my mother?"

"I know I'm not hallucinating, I see clearly my mother's clothes are covered in blood."

Mizu took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

~ "Mizu will tell."

Curran listened carefully to the information he had just learned. His pupils trembled, a drop of tears streaming down Curran's cheeks.

Curran wept silently in the quiet silence of the night, with Mizu not far from him.

* * *

Uhukk.

Trangs.

Gilbert put down his cutlery, he immediately walked over to his wife who had just coughed up blood.

"Darling, what happened to you?"

"I'm fine."

Ellena wiped the blood from her mouth, and tried to smile to calm her husband.

Gilbert frowned. He held Ellena and took her out of the dining room.

"Mark, call the healer to my room."

"Good sir."

Rosaly follows her father, worried about her mother's circumstances.

Curran also followed his father, with his hand gripping tightly.

* * *

"How's my wife doing?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Duke, I can't detect the disease that's in your wife's body."

A man who had just checked Ellena's body state, had a complicated mind.

It was because there was no conflation in her body, no poison residing there, and no trace of magic lodged in Ellena's body.

"I'm once again sorry, Mr. Duke. I'm sorry excuse me."

"Surely please."

Gilbert rubbed his face in frustration. This was the umpteenth time he had brought a physician to check the health condition of his wife's body, and the results remained the same.

No one knew about Ellena's illness.

'What really happened to you, Elle?'

Tok to tok.

Gilbert tidied up his clothes.

"Lake in."

Getting an answer from the inside, Curran walked into his father's study.

"Do you need anything, Curran?"

Curran saw his father look tired, he was silent for a while, before finally answering Gilbert's words.

"That's right, I have a request of you, Dad."

"Say."

"I want a family vacation."

Gilbert frowned.

"Is there any place you want to go, my son?"

"Dad."

Curran looked at his father's face with a deep look.

"I just want us to have a picnic with our family in the green forest, what do you think?"

Gilbert fell silent.

He looked at his son's face closely, before he finally let out a long sigh.

"Dad will finish all the work today, so that tomorrow we can have a picnic together. How's it?"

A gentle smile was on Curran's face.

"Thank you, Dad."

Gilbert smiles. He wanted to rub his son's head, but it came to a halt as soon as he saw Curran stepping back from him.

Gilbert smiled awkwardly, she pulled back her hand.

"Then you can come back."

"Good, Dad."

* * *

Tak.

Curran put down a cup containing green tea. After leaving her father's office, she was invited to have tea with her sister.

"Is there anything you want to ask, Ocha?"

Rosaly stared at the reflection of herself that was seen in her tea cup.

"Sir Ran, can you recover?"

Rosaly wanted an answer to her question. His feelings were not good, seeing his mother who kept spewing a mouthful of blood from his mouth.

Many healers had been summoned by his father, but none of the glad tidings he had received.

Can his mother be healed?

What disease did his mother suffer from?

Rosaly looked towards Curran who was silent without giving him an answer. Maybe because she was daydreaming, so did not hear a reply from her brother.

Rosaly repeated the question.

"Sir Ran, can you recover?"

"Sister has asked dad that we can have a picnic together in the green forest, and dad agrees."

Curran averted his gaze from his sister's face, he stared at the teacup calmly.

"We can spend time with Mom."

Rosaly smiled wryly.

It was not the answer he wanted, but it answered his question indirectly.

Rosaly lowered her head. The clutches of the hands on his cup tightened slightly, and the gaze of his eyes dewed.

She brushed off all the negative thoughts that came to her mind, then bit her lips to hold herself back from crying.

"I understand."

* * *

"Take this."

Mizu took out a small box with both hands, she stared at Ellena's face for a moment, then opened the box with a blue jewel ring inside.

~ "Elle, why did you give this thing to Mizu?"

Ellena closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the night breeze hitting her face.

"I'm giving it to your next owner."

Ellena opened her eyes again. He looked towards Mizu who looked increasingly transparent in his eyes.

"The more days it becomes more and more vague that I feel the power of the water that is inside me, even I take a long time to make a small water ball."

"My ability to see nature spirits like you, is fading away."

"It's time we split up Mizu."

Mizu had teary eyes, a drop of running water soaked her cheeks.

~ "Mizu apologizes, this is all Mizu's fault."

"Mizu."

Ellena tries to wipe the tears on Mizu's cheek, but her fingers penetrate Mizu's body.

Ellena smiled gently. He pulled his hand back.

"That was my decision, Mizu. And I'm ready to accept the consequences, stop blaming yourself."

Mizu wiped her tears, she kept Ellena's gift box well. Then she flew closer to Ellena, trying to hug her.

~ "Elle."

"Please give my present to your next owner."

~ "Sure, Mizu will give Elle a gift to her."

"Thank you."

Mizu came back crying in the quiet night.

* * *

~ "Curran, can you hear the sound, Mizu?"

After exiting Ellena's room, Mizu came to Curran's room. He has a hope, Curran wants to be the next owner after Ellena.

Mizu has a guilty conscience for Ellena and this family, and she wants to make up for it.

"You crying?"

Mizu was delighted that Curran could still hear her voice, she wiped away her tears, then flew closer to Curran who was reading a book.

~ "Yes, Mizu parted ways with Ellena."

~ "Elle won't be able to see Mizu again."

Mizu softly answered a question from Curran.

Curran closed the book. He understood why Mizu came to him.

Curran did not want it.

His hand he had used to kill someone's life.

"I hope you get the right owner after my mom."

~ "It-"

"Good bye."

Curran got up from a sitting position, he walked up to the bed, then covered his entire body with a blanket.

"Goodbye, Mizu."

Mizu's body froze. He did not mishear, Curran had just said goodbye to him.

Curran's words had told him very clearly.

Mizu stared at the sleeping Curran.

~ "Can Mizu get a second chance?"

Silent.

There was no response from his words.

Mizu shed her tears. He hugged his own body, then flew out of Curran's room.

~ "Goodbye."

Curran opened his eyes.

"I also want a second chance."

Curran went back to sleep after muttering softly.

* * *

Mizu looked at the Crimson residence with teary eyes. He hugged Ellena's gift box tightly.

~ "Why is it like this?"

Many encounters and partings that Mizu has experienced since hundreds of years ago, with humans or other creatures.

However, he never expected that he would experience a breakup like this.

It hurts for him.

Mizu turned her back to the Crimson residence, then flew away from there.

Mizu wanted a second chance, but she didn't get it.

Right now, all he could do was hope.

Hoping that the next owner would be a member of the Crimson family, so that he could make amends.

Although, that time might have been too late for him.
