Rein was eating a chicken skewer when he first met Curran.

Croft sits on Rein's right shoulder, and Joy on the left. They both ate the same chicken.

"It didn't change, just like the first time I ate it."

Rein commented after eating one of the skewered chickens he had in his hand.

[Master, wasn't it the first time we came to this place, you intended to do business. ]

"Indeed."

[So why haven't we done it yet? ]

Rein snorted at Croft's question.

"We came straight to hear about the war. Before the war started I had to learn a language or something about this world. Once the war is over, I'm not allowed to go out. So, when can we do it?"

Rein asked Croft a question back, while complaining internally. Ever since he came to this world, he had no time to do business. His mind was immediately turned to the war he was about to face.

Not to mention, he needed to find out information about the world he was currently living in.

~ "Cutie pie, looks like the guy's on his way here."

Rein ignores Joy's words, as she believes that without turning her head Croft will give her information about the person.

[Should I call it a victim? ]

The corner of Rein's mouth twitched. He tried to refrain from smiling hearing Croft's voice sound like someone was flirting.

[A petty criminal who kidnaps a child and gets the child to work on drugs. ]

[The group of petty criminals had 3 tamed monsters. Perhaps that was what made them dare to appear in the Crimson Duke's territory. ]

Rein closed his lips so as not to smile at the information Croft gave.

A small group of rats dares to enter the tiger territory, because it has a lion?

How laughable.

Rein quickly made a plan.

Croft grinned knowing the plan Rein was thinking. He could not wait to see the pile of gold again.

"Hello little sister."

Rein looked up to see the face of a man greeting him.

"Hello Uncle."

The man smiled after getting a positive response from the little boy before him.

"Uncle's name, Sam. What's your name?"

Rein tried his best not to laugh, and answered the question in a carefree tone.

"My name is Rein."

The man who claimed to be named Sam, saw Rein's reaction that looked innocent and easy to deceive. He started asking with a worried look on his face.

"Where are you here alone, what family are you?"

"I ran away from home, and now I'm afraid I'm going home."

Rein bit his lips, then looked at the man with teary eyes.

Sam's mouth twitched. He got a prey that was easy to get.

"What if you go to Uncle's house? Later if you are no longer afraid, then Uncle will take you home."

Rein had a hesitant expression hearing the remark from Sam.

"You're calm, Uncle isn't a bad guy. Uncle's gonna buy you some candy, how?"

Rein and Croft sneered at the man's words in their minds, who offered him candy.

Unlike Joy who smiles happily when she hears the word candy.

~ "Cutie pie, let's go with the guy. Joy likes candy."

Croft rolled his eyes lazily looking at Joy's behavior.

Rein ignored Joy's words. He exclaimed happily to answer the man's words.

"really?"

"Of course."

"Don't Rein agree to go with Uncle."

Sam smiled with satisfaction as he managed to once again deceive a small child.

He held onto Rein's small hand, to take her to where her partner had planned to go.

"Stop."

The steps of the two of them were stopped by the voice of a young man who sounded flat and cold.

He saw a young man wearing black clothes, having dark blue hair, pale blue eyes, white skin, standing with a flat gaze.

'Who is he?'

[Yuda Horation, the second son of the Horation family who ruled the underworld in the Eastern Continent. ]

[He has the water attribute ability, which allows him to see one's past through touch. ]

Rein frowned. He was confused as to why the young man named Yuda wanted to come with him, as they had never met before.

Unlike Sam who feels that this is his lucky day, he intends to cheat one child instead get two.

Sam guessed that the boy in front of him was an acquaintance of a little boy named Rein. That's why he wants to come too.

"Sure, you can come too."

Sam welcomes Yuda with open arms, and the friendly smile he has.

Yuda only glanced at the glance of the Man named Sam, he walked forward approaching Rein and held his palm that was smaller than his.

Rein looked at his left hand held by Judah's. He looked up and looked at the face of Yuda who was also looking at him.

'The way is classic, why don't they wrap my mouth around gold or at least diamonds?'

After commenting on the abduction which according to the classic Rein, he lost his consciousness.

While Yuda did not inhale the scent of the dope, he pretended to have been exposed to it. Even so, his grip on Rein's hand did not he let go, and grew tighter.

He didn't want to be separated by the pink-haired boy.

"What the fuck!! Why can't his hands come off?!"

An adult man who captured the body of Yuda, was astonished because the grasp of the hand of this little boy could not escape from the hand of the pink hair boy.

"Let it go, we're lucky today anyway."

The man who claimed to be named Sam, replied to his colleague's words with a satisfied expression on his face.

In the corner of the alley, Croft was whispering something to Joy.

Joy nodded in understanding, then stared intently at the two adult men before disappearing from the place.

[Now, what's it like to rob criminals? ]

Croft had a small grin on his face.
