[Oh he finally came. ]

Rein's face was facing forward, his eyes narrowed to see who Croft meant was coming.

Mark who had been watching Rein since earlier felt confused when he saw Rein just looking ahead.

Mark tried to figure out what Rein was seeing, but unfortunately he still didn't see anything suspicious.

However, a few minutes later Mark noticed the change in the atmosphere inside the forest. The wind gradually began to form a round that grew stronger in the next second.

Mark recalled that something like this had happened before when he and Curran entered the green forest.

Mark reflexively wanted to grab Rein's small hand, but something invisible bounced him away.

"Young master Rein!"

~ "Hihihi, this interesting is interesting."

A tiny creature that had dense gray hair, flew around Rein's body. Which made Rein float in the air.

"Wooaahh, is this what it's like to fly?"

Rein clucked in amazement at the sight of his feet not touching the ground, hovering in the air. He always saw Croft drifting around, until a question came to his mind about what it was like to fly.

And it feels so good.

~ "Hihihi, do you like it?"

"Of course, this feels good."

Rein replied with a smile on his face.

The tiny creature was surprised by Rein's words, very different from the few humans he had made to fly to play.

~ "Hihihi, you're the first human to say that."

Rein's eyes blinked innocently.

"Really?"

~ "Hihihi, you look so cute man."

Rein's face immediately turned strange upon hearing the word cute, not to mention Croft giggling over his head.

"Young Mr. Rein."

Rein lowered his head, and looked at Mark who was looking at him with a worried look.

"Can you put me down?"

~ "Hihihi, can. Hihihi, but after that we play."

"All right."

Rein agreed, because he still wanted to feel flying again. And, Rein had a rough idea when Croft said that this wind spirit was interesting.

~ "Hihihi."

The wind spirit slowly lowered Rein, until it landed safely on the ground.

"Uncle Mark."

Tap tap tap.

Mark checked to the right and left to make sure that there were no injuries on Rein's body.

Rein stared blankly at Mark's actions, which made some plants shout hysterically.

"Thank God there are no wounds on your body."

Rein felt confused by all the attention and affection he had suddenly gained.

Even though Rein was trying to fit in, he still felt awkward getting affection all of a sudden.

"Uncle Mark, I want to play with the spirit of the wind. Can you wait for me here?"

Mark's frown upon hearing the question posed by Rein.

Mark squatted down to adjust his height to Rein.

"Young master Rein, is that harmless? What if you fall?"

~ "Hihihi, I've never hurt a human."

Rein turned his head to the side when he heard the voice from the wind spirit.

'Does he always laugh before he speaks?'

[I don't know. ]

Croft shrugged his shoulders.

"Just calm down, Uncle, I promise I won't get hurt."

Rein already has Croft by his side, it would be strange if he remained injured in the presence of the system.

Mark was hesitant to let Rein play with the wind spirit, yet as a butler he had no right to refuse his young master's decision.

"Well, I hope you're careful when you play."

"certain."

~ "Hihihi."

Rein felt that his body was extremely light as the wind spirit surrounded him, until he slowly started floating in the air.

"Uncle, I'll be back."

"Your young master Rein."

Mark smiled calmly, his eyes constantly watching Rein drifting into the forest. His gaze turned serious as Rein was far from the reach of his eyes.

"Should I report to young master Curran?"

* * *

William Osmond, an adult man in his 50s, was sitting in his desk chair.

William's blue netra stared at every word written on the paper scroll meticulously.

Several times William's forehead creased, his eyes narrowed sharply, his lips closed in a thin line, and a long sigh came out as William finished reading it.

William leaned his back against the chair, then his finger tapped on the table several times. Close your eyes for a moment, then open them again.

"Where did you get this information, Jasvier?"

His voice was heavy and had a weight, making Jasvier slightly stiffen upon hearing it. He answered William's question.

"I'm sorry, Your Honor, I can't tell you any information about that person."

For Rein's safety, Curran asks her not to tell him about Rein's ability to communicate with trees.

Jasvier agreed, however, because Rein was still a child in need of protection.

Tuk tuk tuk.

The sound of William's finger tapping grew louder, then stopped instantly.

"How much do you pay for this information?"

"10,000 gold coins that are noble-Ah."

Suddenly Jasvier's body fell down and knelt down, before he could finish his sentence. The pressure he felt was extremely pressing on him, even his right hand was shaking.

Jasvier hardened his jaw, and tried to survive the pressure his father had exerted.

"Crown prince, do you think 10,000 gold coins is equivalent to the life of the citizens of Xinlaire kingdom?"

"No, your majesty."

"Then do you know how valuable this information is?"

"I'm sorry Your Honor, I've made a mistake."

William sighed, then pulled back the pressure he had put on Jasvier.

William leaned forward, then looked at Jasvier who was still kneeling before him.

"Jasvier, I'll ask you a question. Then, reflect on the answer until tomorrow."

Jasvier frowned. He felt confused as to what question made him to have to ponder for that long.

"Please ask Your Majesty, I will listen."

William was silent for a moment, before asking a question.

"Pick between these two things. Sacrificing one life to save many lives, or sacrificing many to save one life. Which one will you choose?"

Jasvier was stunned on the spot, he understood the direction of the conversation from his father. His father asked him to choose between his life or the safety of the royal people.

Jasvier took a deep breath, then began to speak;

"I'm sorry, Your Honor, but I seem to be able to answer the question you're asking right now."

"What's your answer?"

"I will choose the safety of the people of the kingdom."

"Explain."

"I apologize for my lassitude, Your Majesty, but you still have a daughter who will lead the Xinlaire kingdom."

Silent.

There was silence as Jasvier finished his words.

Jasvier had already decided that he would attach greater importance to the survival of his people than he did.

There was no regret for the words he had spoken. As crown prince, it was his duty to protect his territory and people.

William closed his eyes for a moment, then reopened them.

"Go back."

"I'll excuse you, Your Majesty."

Jasvier saluted William and a grown man who was behind his father. Then he left the room.

William leaned his back against the chair.

"Did you hear Andrew?"

Andrew Mallory, a man in his 40s who became the prime minister of the Xinlaire kingdom.

"I heard it Your Majesty."

Andrew replied in a calm voice, as calm as water.

"My son is a grown man."

"You're right, Your Majesty, the crown prince is getting wiser."

"This will be his first war, hm ... Should I call it a war?"

"I'm sorry for my noble deftness, wouldn't it be dangerous enough for the crown prince to fight that witch?"

William set his gaze on the paper scroll containing an information, his finger tapping on the paper.

"You know Andrew, you're more dangerous than a sword and magic."

"I understand Your Majesty."

William nodded, then gave the order to Andrew.

"Create an invitation letter for tomorrow's meeting, the topic to be discussed is the prize of the hunting festival."

"As your commandments Your Majesty."
