Me and Onoval had a hard time finding a path that was as clean as everyone else. We hid a few times when someone was passing by. Onoval didn't let go of my hand. The coldness was so piercing from his pale hands. Seeing her like this I felt like I saw a ghost, but she was real. I could hear his heartbeat even if it was just holding hands. Onoval has a genetic disorder that is a lack of color pigments in the body or commonly called Albino. This disorder causes people to have pale skin like no blood and white hair. At least that's what he told me when I asked him how he had silvery-white hair.
"Ep... Onoval, are you wearing contact lenses?" I broke the silence between us. I was a little curious about the color of his eyes. I remember the hazel-colored Onoval eyes.
"No. It's the original color of my eyes. This is how I wear contact lenses. I was always bullied by my friends because of the color of my eyes, and some people were afraid when they saw my red eyes" she explained with a sad look.
"But I think the color of your eyes is very charming" I said, stopping her steps. He glanced at me.
"really?"
"certain. The most unique eyes I've ever seen," I walked ahead of him without letting go of our hands, and now I pulled him.
Tonight is the first time I've seen someone have red eyes and they're real instead of contact lenses. I've heard that people with the Albino genetic disorder may have red eyes. This is very much a step happening. Wait, Onoval's red eyes remind me of something. I try to remember. Ah, yes I remember now. Those charming red eyes belong to someone who has helped me fall in the river. I reckon. I don't know if it's real or not. It all felt like a dream but I remember clearly with those red eyes that helped me. Is he Onoval? I wanted to ask him but... I still doubt that.
From the coldness of Onoval's hand was stored the warmth behind his eyes which were sometimes covered in strands of silver hair. I looked away as he glanced at me. Several times our views met. I was a little embarrassed when I caught Basa looking at her face. Wh why? A strange feeling came to my mind. This feeling was a lot different when I was with Perchye. Obviously I like Perchye and I admit that, but what's with Onoval... I feel so safe. It is like a shield that can protect me from all kinds of dangers. And also, I felt a peaceful serenity like a sunset that I often captured in photos. The beauty of the portrait so that I can enjoy it longer even though the warmth radiated is very different.
We made it out. Now we're near the school's backyard parking lot. I pulled my hand quickly making Onoval turn her head with a look of wonder.
"What's Rin?"
"We're out. You can leave now," I stared intently at Onoval with my eyes twinkling.
"What do you mean your look?" Onoval tried to get close to me but I immediately dodged.
"I've seen everything Onoval. I was there when the explosion happened. I saw a black figure with fiery red eyes staring sadly at me," now I couldn't hold back my tears anymore.
"You mean, you think I'm the embodiment of that black figure? Trust me, Rin, it's not me."
"Not what?! Your appearance is too sudden here, an explanation you can't give and why should you avoid everyone? Which part should I trust?" nadaku. I wiped my tears. I don't know why I'm crying either. I was eager to believe his words, it was possible that all of this was just a coincidence but there was doubt surrounding me.
"I'm framed. Someone called me to come here. If I don't come then the person I love will be in danger" he explained.
I was shocked to hear it. I'm downcast sluggish. The one he loves? Wh who? Why does this heart hurt when it hears it.
"I beg Rin, trust me."
Onoval tightly gripped both my hands. The look she was pointing at made me unable to move my lips. What the hell's going on? Why am I like this? This feeling is so strange, why keep covering me? For a long time I was pensive until I finally said...
"I'd probably believe it if you were honest."
"Ep... Ok. Actually..." Onoval looks so hard to find the right words to explain it. His eyes were unceasingly moving here and there like they were looking for something. He scratched his head which I could make sure didn't itch. Onoval took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Alright, actually..."
"Gee... Whoa... You can come out too apparently,"
A person emerged from the darkness while clapping right behind Onoval. I slightly tilted my head to see who it was. It turns out he was Perchye. Her clothes were currently a little messy with some of her costume accessories having been lost. Alkaline hair by kerigat and sharp eyes highlight. Hm, how did he emerge from the parking lot?
"You know him?" point at Onoval using her thumb without glancing at Perchye.
"Yes. Her... My friend."
"Your friend?!" onoval's face looked very surprised. "Do you know, he's the monster you saw."
I raise my eyebrows. "What are you talking about?"
"It's hard to believe, but that's the truth. You've seen it for yourself, haven't you? That monster really exists and this person in front of you is one of them!" emphatically.
"In front of me? Meaning you?" I said flat
"What?! Not me but him!!" with an annoyed look Onoval pointed at Perchye. His red eyes looked at me solemnly.
Hiz... Seeing him so upset made me laugh a little. But what Onoval said has a point, too. Gelagat Perchye tonight is very strange. Is it possible that the black figure I saw wasn't Onoval? No, I don't want to believe this. I hope it's really not Perchye but I don't want it to be Onoval either. Gelisa. I covered my face with both hands while shaking. I tried to convince myself that the black figure I saw was not one of them.
"That's you! Stop scaring my girlfriend!!" perchye Bending on Onoval.
"Daughter?" I glanced at Perchye when I heard the word slide out of his lips. A boyfriend? Is he expressing his feelings to me?
"Daughter? If you're his girlfriend, you better not cover up your real identity!" reply Onoval snapping Perchye.
"good. I'll admit it," Perchye's sharp gaze toward Onoval dimmed as she looked at me. "Sorry Rin. I didn't mean to hide my identity from you. I was afraid you'd stay away from me, but you'd seen my form. I hope you won't be afraid after seeing this."
Perchye changed his position like a four-legged animal. He began to growl in pain. His eyes light up, sweat running down his temples. All over his body now began to be overgrown with brown coarse feathers. Perchye's face turned out to be like a muzzle with rows of white-fanged teeth. I was just horrified to see that change. This is the first time I've seen someone turn into a wolf at such an imperfect stage. I can't imagine myself going through the same thing.
