"What do you think, why let him stay here? What if someone finds out that we've helped hide the wolf girl?!"
"Rose! I told you Ririn's not a werewolf!"
"What if it turns out he's a werewolf?"
"You should cut back on watching horror movies. Do you believe that werewolves exist? They're just Rosse's mythical creatures."
Aunt Marry really believes I'm not a werewolf. I can't imagine how he would react if he knew my true identity. Does he still want to defend me like this? Or will he think the same as the people out there who think we are terrible monsters? I was more and more afraid to reveal my true identity to him, even though he was among the people I trusted the most.
"Alright, put this werewolf aside. But our spending the last few months has been huge. The results of working mothers alone are not enough to support us both, and now I want to accommodate the young lady from a rich family."
"Rose! Don't talk like that. We should help each other. It's not good that Ririn hears later."
"He's in mom's living room, there's no way he's hearing us. But if he's a real werewolf it's possible," Rosse's tone really mocked.
"There is no need to be a werewolf to hear your loud voice. I can't seem to use the blasting but can still hear clearly your conversation." I cried in my heart. But it seems like Rosse doesn't care much about me as a werewolf. Their concerns lie with insufficient spending. Fortunately I had my wallet. I walked up to them to talk about it. "What are you talking about?"
"Yesh...!" they shouted at the same time in surprise.
"What a ghost you are!! Appeared suddenly!" snapped Rosse pissed.
"Hide... Excuse me. O, yes aunt. How many accounts are you? I want to send money as my living expenses here."
"No, there's no need for Ririn." Aunt Mary tried to resist.
"You eavesdropped on our conversation? Your behavior is not like a young lady from a respectable family."
"What were you guys talking about? And for this money thing, I ran away from home and I had to make preparations."
"Ha, it's good that you know yourself" said Rosse with a cold face. He folded both his hands on his chest.
"Rose!! I didn't teach you to be rude like that!" marry's aunt snapped at her daughter, but Rosse ignored her.
"Aunty is okay."
"Ririn, aunty can't accept this money. If you want something you can buy it yourself," Aunt Mary insisted on refusing my gift.
"Thank you, mother, we need it anyway. I'm sure the young lady is not used to simple food," again Rosse mocked me, this time he passed away.
"Rose!!!" aunt Mary tried to chase him but I managed to hold her hand.
"Rosse has a point aunt, you need him. I hope aunt doesn't refuse because I miss auntie's cooking so much" I asked.
"Auntie's really sorry for Rosse's behavior just now." Aunt Marry took off her glasses and started massaging the middle part between her eyes. "His nature changed drastically after the departure of his father five years ago. Aunty, I hope you didn't put in the heart of all her words earlier. His mouth was spicy but his heart remained soft."
"I can tell her aunt" I'd at least try not to hit her, or I shouldn't talk to her often.
"You better get ready for bed. It's getting late."
"Thank you aunt Mary."
Aunt Marry took me upstairs to my room. There was only one room on this second floor, and it was certainly Rosse's room. Whaaat! I was one room with him. After the conversation I can make sure we can't be familiar any time soon. It seems like my days here will be full of quarrels with him, but that's it. Aunt Marry knocked on the door slowly, there was no answer. Aunty tried to turn the door knob that turned out to be unlocked. Look inside the room, the room is about 1/10 smaller than my room but enough to accommodate one bed, a study table, a two-door closet and a bathroom.
"Ririn, you're one room with Rosse. No what? Because there's no other room in this house."
"It's okay, as long as the owner is willing?" I glanced at Rosse who was playing his phone while sleeping. He glanced back at me when he heard that.
I try to hold back my frustration. Who wants a room with you? A ghost wants to. But aunt Marry had a point, all the words that slid from Rosse's lips were indeed spicy but her heart was a little soft. He must have been letting me know I was in a room with him. If Rosse really wanted me to sleep on the couch, he wouldn't forget to lock the door. Why are his heart and mind opposite? Seeing Rosse's attitude as soon as I felt he had something propping up in his heart. Something was like a thorn that was difficult to pull, no matter how much he tried to pull it out the stronger the thorn stuck there. And to relieve the pain Rosse sometimes lay it on people around him. Maybe this is why he behaved so high. Was his father's departure so unfair that Rosse was so angry at the world? I'll take the time to find out a little and maybe I can help pull out the thorn.
"Is this how you treat guests? Rosse don't piss me off. Or just bigini, you sleep with mom and let Ririn sleep here if you insist on not sharing a bed with her, "aunt Marry advised.
With a sullen face yet so cute if you ask me, Rosse pulled the blanket over her head while turning her back to us. He said. "This is my room! I'm not gonna hand it to anyone."
"You don't want to give it up, it means you want to share" Aunt Mary concluded.
"..." - ".Rosse did not answer.
"I don't think that's what Aunt Rosse meant" I said, turning to Aunt Mary.
"Auntie is very confident that Rosse has agreed to share a room with you. You better get as much as you sleep."
"Ha.." I let out a long breath. "Rosse can I borrow your bathroom?"
"Don't fuck my stuff!" rosse replied without lowering the blanket.
I thought you weren't asleep. I went to the bathroom in the left corner. I want to take a shower but this time I can't stand cold water. I took off my clothes and began to immerse myself in the tub that I had filled with warm water. Hu... It feels so comfortable. Five minutes later, I came out of the bathroom with a towel. In front of the bathroom door I was surprised by Aunt Marry who was standing there while thrusting a change of clothes at me.
"You're too hasty to run away from home to prepare anything. Here's some clothes, Rosse lent them to you."
"Auntie's sure Rosse lent me this suit?" I doubt a little. With Rosse's nature...
"of course. He chose it himself. Some of these clothes he rarely wears so just lend them to you."
"Eum..."
"Once again, don't think again. Hurry up and put your clothes on and after you go to bed, you'll be tired."
"All right."
"Good night."
"Night."
Aunt Mary passed by while closing the door. Finished changing clothes I laid myself beside Rosse. Kulrik Rosse, he's asleep. Seeing her sleep like this she looked so sweet and tender, but upon waking up was just like a tiger. I turned my gaze to the ceiling. I don't think I'm here today. Lying in a house in a small town away from the family. How are you and mom? Did they realize I wasn't home? Or did Sofia tell them? Mom must be worried about me. Huams... I started yawning. The sleepiness came so quickly to me. Maybe because the long journey makes me tired. I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep.
"Dad mom good night."
