"Please pardon. Can I give you an opinion?" a woman sitting in the spectator's seat clutched her hands. "I am also one of the experts who took part in checking the authenticity of the video. And the end result that I get is if the video is just editing. I brought the evidence."
Everyone looked at the woman with the same look. The host asked the woman to come forward and see the results she got. The woman handed the flash to the officer. The officer played his leptop. The big screen is now changing again, displaying what is in the flash.
"It can be seen for yourself there are small irregularities that are difficult to see. I spent almost 26 hours being able to realize the awkwardness. There are several color spectrums that do not contrast with each other. Especially when the white wolf attacked the victim" she explained.
Back to the house where Mr. Hope and her partner.
Prak . . . ! ! !
Broken beer bottles smashed into the wall leaving stains there. Mr. Hope was furious when she witnessed a press conference that was so unfavorable to her.
"How's that fake reporter you hired?!! He alone can't make a mess and even get us cornered like this!!!" Mr. Hope pulled the crate of her colleague's clothes with a big angry look.
"We haven't lost yet, boss. What if they can prove the authenticity of the video. We still have a lot of cards to beat them," said the fellow trembling.
"Yes...!!!" furious Mr. Hope. He pushed his partner to the floor. "After the press conference is over I want the woman's head! How dare he ruin my plans."
"Well," his partner tried to stand with a dashed breath.
"Look at Derek, I haven't lost yet!"
Geck... Geck... Geck...
There was a knock on the door that confused them.
"Who would dare to come here at a clock like this?!"
"Let's just check" said Mr.'s colleague. Hope offered herself.
"Excuse him, whoever it is!!"
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
"Mrs. Morgen though the video proved to be fake but it's not enough to tell you your daughter is not a werewolf" the self-styled reporter said.
"Then what do you want?" derek's sharp lyrics to that reporter.
"As we know, there are several ways to identify if the person is a werewolf or not. For example, by slashing their skin, is there really wolf fur embedded in their skin tissue?"
"What do you mean?! You're asking us to hurt my daughter?!!" cloey's anger was provoked. He pointed at the reporter in a high tone.
Tori touched his friend's shoulder to calm him down. Then he said quietly "Don't want to follow Cloey's game."
"Well..." Cloey let out a long breath. "I'm sorry for everything."
"I don't mean so Mrs. Morgens. I just gave one example. There's a lot of other ways, right?"
"It looks like you forgot that my daughter can't be here" Derek said.
"What about yourself?"
"You mean?" with a confused expression Derek asked.
"If your daughter was a werewolf, her parents would be a werewolf, too."
"You want me to hurt myself?"
"Looks like you'd love proof" Cloey stood up with an angry look. He went to the window and pulled the white curtain that covered him. The window glass that almost meets the right side of the room shows the night of the full moon. "Wouldn't the most effective way is when a werewolf is exposed to the light of the full moon they will change? We're lucky tonight the moon is perfect."
Cloey approached the light switch and turned it off. The moonlight barged in illuminating the entire room. Almost everyone was exposed to the full moonlight including Derek. Nothing happened. Everyone whispered to each other, but the reporter was silent. It was clearly visible on his face. Cloey revived the room lights, after which she walked to her seat again. A feeling of pride and contentment radiated from Cloey's face.
Derek glanced at his wife then whispered. "It seems you're proud that you've pulled the reporter's mouth together."
"That's possible. Jaseph, get someone to investigate the reporter's identity," Derek asked Jaseph.
"Good."
"Oh, yes. What about Alan? Where's she?"
"Alan's still on his way here."
"Good."
"Gee... It seems to have been proven that the Morgen family was not werewolves" the host said.
"Wait a minute" said the reporter loudly.
"What else does the reporter want to do? How many Mr. Hope paid for it to the point that it was so intent on bringing us down" Tori whispered to Cloey.
"No matter. Most importantly we already have a mature preparation."
"I just remembered the moment your daughter disappeared there was another attack. Although the news was not too viral from the previous news but still there was a wolf attack. Your daughter can still be doubted."
Some spectators were beginning to be affected by the reporter's words. Some of them are justifying it and others are hurting it. Everyone makes their own opinions.
"This is what I'm waiting for" Derek said, leaving everyone confused. "Who said my daughter disappeared? He was at his aunt's house to calm himself down from this problem. Oh... My poor little princess. He was quite depressed because of the accusations. That's why we asked her to stay at her aunt's house outside the city."
"Are you now speechless until you speak nonsense? Everyone has known for a few days you've been trying to find out where your daughter is."
"Where did you get this news?" derek's sharp eyes on the reporter.
"Why? Are you afraid that now you can't avoid it anymore?" the smile of victory was etched on the face of the reporter. "You guys tried to hide this but you're all too busy looking for Miss's whereabouts. Morgen did not know the news had spread. And now you still want to lie to us?"
"liying? It's funny" Derek said and still had a chance to hold back a laugh.
"What are you laughing at Mr. The morgen? Please don't pretend anymore!" now the reporter's tone is a little higher.
"Sorry for my delay."
There was a voice from behind them that made everyone look up. Three men and one woman walked into the press conference room. One of the men was Alan who walked the front. He approaches Derek and the others with two of his colleagues who are herding a woman like a criminal. Everyone started to wonder, who was that woman? Why is he treated that way?
"Finally you came too" said Tori tampa glancing at his interlocutor.
"Yes. We've been stalling for you for a long time" Cloey said.
"Sorry, there was a little problem just now."
"What matters is that you've come" Derek said.
