"Don't be happy just yet. I can only answer three questions from you, no more."
"Huh? Three questions? There is so much I want to ask" I said with a gloomy expression.
"Have it, don't act so cute, it won't work on me. You want it or not."
"Yes, I want to."
"Ep... Should I go first? You can talk to both of you" Rosse said.
"No," I held Rosse's hand so he wouldn't leave. "Stay here. Is it okay, Uncle Fang?"
Uncle Fang did not reply, he only nodded once. I thought to myself, what better question would I ask? There were only three opportunities for me to know something I wanted to know.
"Ep... I wonder why the clans ⁇ (Alpha) and ⁇ (Beta) split after the red full moon war? What cause?
"That's your first question? Are you sure?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"OKs. As you know, these two clans are united against the vampires, and not only the ⁇ (Alpha) and ⁇ (Beta) clans but also some other werewolf clans. They help each other and work hard against the enemy. Blood is everywhere. Everything was covered in countless seas of blood and corpses. At that moment was the beginning of the chaos of the night world. If no other sects and nocturnal creatures had stopped, perhaps werewolves and vampires would have vanished from slaughtering each other."
"Is that so bad?" ask Rosse in between stories.
"Yes. To end the war, a letter of peace was made. This letter was signed by both the martial parties and the monster hunter sects. They agreed that there would be no more hostility between the two sides. To top it off was made also a book of the rules and laws of the night world."
"Everything sounds really good" I said.
"No. Everything was the beginning of the destruction of the werewolf clan. A few months after the war was over suddenly the clan ⁇ (Beta) attacked this residence."
"Oh... Is that why this house was renovated?" ask Rosse to make sure.
Uncle Fang nodded. "The reason for the attack is that it does not accept Mrs. Abigail Morgen, your grandmother withdrew all troops in the midst of a full red war. Not for the reason of Mrs. Abigail Morgen did that. She did so because of the death of her husband in the war. After all during the war the clan ⁇ (Alpha) is always in the front row and most lost comrades in arms."
"Grandmother has made the right decision, why does the clan ⁇ (Beta) not accept?" I started to feel angry hearing it.
"Is this your second question?" asked Uncle Fang who I answered the arm immediately.
"Ep... Ah, I know," I flicked my finger when I found the question I wanted to ask again. "Why is the clan ⁇ (Alpha) declared lost from the night world?"
Uncle Fang was slightly jolted at hearing that. "Why do you ask that? How do you know that?"
"I... Uncle knows.." How to explain. Did I just say that I knew it from Perchye who was a werewolf?
"Is that boy possible?" uncle Fang said guessing my thoughts.
"Ah... If Uncle Fang is not willing to answer. I can find another question, "uncle Fang's cold gaze really gave me goosebumps.
"Huh.." uncle Fang let out a long sigh. "It's okay. I promised to answer your three questions. Is this the second question?"
"Yes" I said slowly.
"It is not appropriate to mention that the clan ⁇ (Alpha) disappeared from the night world. This clan of yours can be said to be recuperating. Why can your friend say that, maybe because the clan ⁇ (Alpha) has long been no longer active in socializing in the night world. This clan of yours really never got to the worst point. It is fortunate that your mother was able to turn things around when the war against the ⁇ (Beta) clan took place. Your mother's strength really made them retreat in fear."
"Why did Uncle Fang say your clan is not our clan?" I asked unconsciously.
"Well?!" although very curious about this, but for the third question I have prepared it. Maybe I can figure it out next time. "No. I have another question for this last question. Uncle Fang I hope uncle is telling the truth. Why is my identity as a werewolf kept secret from the clan? I don't want to hear excuses because I'm not good at controlling this power. I know that's not the real reason."
"For this problem... You better wait until your sixth stage is over," now Uncle Fang's face looks hesitant to explain.
It turns out that my guess is correct. Something is hidden from this matter. "I want to know about it now Uncle Fang."
"Are you sure? The answer may not be imagined by you."
"I'm very sure. I can take it whatever it is."
"alright. Reason because..."
"Mrs. The li! Are you here?"
Suddenly a waiter walked into the study making Uncle Fang's sentence cut off. He seemed to be looking for Uncle Fang. Huh... Why should it be now?
"Yes, what's the need?"
"Mrs. Morgen told me to call you. There is something that I want to discuss with others. Everything is waiting for you downstairs" said the waiter gracefully.
"What?! Did ya? Sorry for making such a long wait. Miss. Morgen can we continue next time?" there was clearly panic on Uncle Fang's face.
"Yes, that's okay" I replied in disappointment. A little more, I know the truth.
Uncle Fang hurried away but before that he said. "Thank you."
I saw Uncle Fang's shadow quickly disappear from behind the door. "Huh.." I let out a long breath. I wrote once the closet that became the entrance to the secret room. Everything becomes uninteresting. I walked out of my dad's office. Rosse followed me from behind.
"That Mr. Li was just the caretaker of this residence but he was treated the same as the master by the servants and other guards," Rosse said as we walked downstairs.
"What did you say? Uncle Fang is more than just a housekeeper. He's my father's right hand man, the most trusted man. All the company and clan matters, Uncle Fang could freely engage in. No one can oppose that. However, he never abused his power for personal matters. He is very humble and friendly to everyone. The Morgen family taught to treat everyone equally, both the servant and the master. Instead of fear, they have better trust. Then respect will follow."
"But if it's like this isn't it very vulnerable to traitors? You know, we can't read everybody's mind."
"Be nice should be, but don't be stupid," I slightly pushed Rosse's forehead with my index finger. "For confidential matters only the members of the family who are being smeared know. Uncle Fang is already considered like his own family because as far as I know uncle Fang has been devoted since his teens."
"Since adolescence?" Rosse repeated my last sentence with a question mark.
"Yes. Uncle Fang is an orphan who follows my grandfather. Grandfather had already considered him like his own son but Uncle Fang considered grandfather more like a great master whom he respected a lot. My father was appointed clan head at a very young age. Father appointed uncle Fang to help him take care of this clan ⁇ (Alpha)."
