"Aunt Cloey, aunty can bring the dead back to life, right? Why not do that to Rin? I beg aunt, do it... Hix... Hicks..."
Sofia's mind started to go crazy. She kept asking for the impossible while crying. Cloey who heard the plea grew even more sad. Their friendship is too sweet, why must it be separated tragically. Although they often quarrel but it was just a small quarrel and backfill. The sense of caring and helping each other is very strongly intertwined between them.
"Sorry Sofia. Auntie can't do that. Resurrection in such a way is tantamount to locking his soul in a fragile container. Rin would not be happy living without being able to feel anything. It's the same as dying. Do you want Rin to live like that?" cloey with tears.
There was indeed a similar desire in Cloey's mind, but after seeing Rin's smile for the last time he was unwilling to lose it. Sofia was crying again. He lays his head on Rin's bed. Lisa and Rosse try to calm Sofia with equal sadness. Zedna who had come to her senses immediately ran to hug her daughter who had once been lost, but had been lost again for good. On the sidelines of the sobs suddenly sounded a familiar voice. Slow voice with irregular pause. Sofia who noticed the voice first because her voice was right in her ear. The same sound as the heart rate monitor but all medical devices have been removed. Where did that sound come from? Sofia watches the watch of her best friend. He knew the sound was coming from there.
"Jam Rin reads," Sofia said, leaving everyone speechless. "I'm sure, the clock rings. Rin is alive!"
Derek gasped to hear her approach Sofia and saw the clock circling her daughter's wrist. His mind was too muddled when he learned of his daughter's departure to the point of not realizing the small voice. The clock sounds because it detects a very weak pulse.
"Who put this watch on?" derek asked everyone.
"I put it up" said Lisa. "I think Rin really liked that watch so I put it back in her hand."
"My daughter is still alive" Derek said, then hurriedly ran out looking for a doctor while shouting. "Make sure the clock stays there until I get back!"
Less than a minute later, Derek returned with the doctor and a nurse who looked exhausted chasing the pace of the two charcoals in front of him. At first the doctor didn't believe what Derek said but you wouldn't be able to refuse the head of the werewolf clan, would you? Everyone is welcome to make room for the doctors and nurses. The heart rate monitor was re-installed but the results shown were still the same as before, just a long line. Even so, everyone still hopes that the miracle must exist.
The doctor tried to do CPR in a way to help pump the patient's heart manually. A minute of experimentation did not yield results. The doctor seemed to have given up but was suddenly startled by the sound of a monitor detecting a heartbeat once and then disappeared. Seeing those signs he regained the zeal to save the life of the patient before him. The nurse deftly reassembled all existing medical equipment on the orders of the doctor. Two minutes of trying the patient's heart rate back even though it is still in a weak state. Slowly the other vital organs also returned to functioning. This is a much expected miracle. The previous mourning now turned into haru.
...First person point of view...
...ΩΩΩΩ...
I tried to open my eyes that felt heavy but still I forced. My vision vaguely explained. The hospital ceiling greeted me with minimal light. I slowly looked to the right side of my body. Everyone seemed to be sound asleep in various positions. Sofia fell asleep next to me with her head lying on the bed and her hands she used as a cushion. I smiled to see him sleep so well. I move my fingers trying to reach out while calling out to him.
"Sof... Sophia..."
My hands did not touch his body. My voice was too weak to wake her up. He changed his sleeping position behind me, but that's why I can reach his hair. I pulled out a strand of her hair and even to the point of pulling it, she still did not wake up. I repeat the same thing, but still he did not wake up. Furious, I clenched the strands of her hair that I could reach and pulled her as hard as I could.
"Aww...! Rin, why are you pulling my hair?"
Sofia immediately stood up and rubbed her aching head. I just stared at him without blinking. I tried to raise my hand to reveal the strands of hair that I managed to pull out.
"You, have you noticed Rin?" the look on his face instantly changed 180°. With her eyes she hugged me tightly. "Huaaahs... Thank goodness you finally realized too. I thought we would never see each other again. Hix... Hicks..."
"Yes, Sofia... You can, you let go... Your hug?"
"Sorry, I'm too happy. Did I hurt you?" sofia asked as she wiped her tears.
"No," I shook my head.
"Wait?! What the hell am I doing? I have to tell the others about this."
Before Sofia shouted I immediately held her hand. "No Sofia. Let them sleep."
"But why? They should know that you've regained consciousness after all this time. This is the happiest news."
"Let them rest. They're too tired. Hearing, your screams just now, they didn't wake up. You're sleeping too" I asked him.
"But.." Sofia's face turned sad.
"Tomorrow. I'm still weak anyway."
"Please promise me you'll wake up tomorrow. Hoam... Otherwise I will inherit your car," Sofia laid her head on the bed with her hands tightly clenched her hands. He started to fall asleep.
Gosh darn. I just woke up a few minutes already under threat. I closed my eyes and began to fall asleep.
