After coming home from the hospital I did not speak to any part, both to my mother, father, uncle, aunt, Rosse and even Mia who I only returned a thin smile. I'd rather spend some time alone in the room, not meet anyone including Sofia. He called me many times or even visited. I deactivated my phone to get calm and would not receive any news, from anyone. I never thought it would be like this my life. Who me? I'm just a kid who doesn't want my real parents. That half they left me at the doorstep of the orphanage. If it wasn't for the kindness of the Morgen family maybe I wouldn't be in this world anymore.
In the afternoon I went up to the tower. This is my report to see the sunset, and also a place where my mood is sad again. Right at five floors I can see all parts of this residence from all sides. I sat on the edge of the tower with my legs dangling down. The golden light was not so dazzling as I stared directly at the sun. The blowing wind was so cool playing with my hair. I stared blankly at the sun which slowly disappeared and left a thin light in the sky.
"It's true you're here" said someone behind me who I knew was Rosse.
"Where do you know I'm here?" ask me without looking at it.
"Mrs. Li's. Said you used to go up to the tower to watch the sunset," Rosse took a seat next to me. He's downstairs. "Wow... This place is high. Aren't you scared?"
"Uncle Fang does know my habits. But you know for now I just want to be alone."
"Here you are, stop being moody. What the hell are you thinking? What if you were just a foster child? After all, your family today loves you just as much as your own child."
"I just thought, why are my real parents so eager to send their own daughter in front of the door of the orphanage?"
"Maybe they have reasons that inevitably have to leave you at the orphanage. Like..." Rosse began to think about the reason. "Economic difficulties."
"I thought you'd say I was one of those unwanted kids" I turned to Rosse.
"Eh? Is my face too convincing for me to say that?"
"..."
"Have it, whatever the reason for what you're ignoring. If your real parents don't want you, you still have us. Your father, mother, uncle, aunt, cousin Mia and your friends. You also live as the Miss of the Morgen family residence. Is that still not enough to make you happy?"
"I know that, Rosse," I bowed softly. Everything Rosse said was true. I was so grateful to have a family that loved me wholeheartedly, but in my mind there was a sense of wonder, why did my biological parents abandon me?
"Hey, Rin. Who's in that house?" point Rosse at a black shadow passing by in the hallway of the empty building just to the left of where we were sitting.
"It looks like it's Uncle Fang," I said after seeing who it was.
"What did Mr. Li there?"
"Don't know. The building was occupied by no one and I never entered it. But what I do know, usually the building was used by the father to have meetings with clan elders and also where the junior werewolves were inducted into the official werewolf clan ⁇ (Alpha). Anyway definitely the place is a special building for the needs of the clan ⁇ (Alpha)," I explained.
"Oh..."
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Next day. I left early in the morning without telling my parents, Rosse or anything else. I slipped slowly towards the garage then passed away before anyone noticed. Today I plan to find my real parents. I just want to know why they abandoned their own daughter in an orphanage. I want a logical explanation from them directly. This time my trip was quite far. According to the address of the orphanage I got from the adoption papers, the place was located in the suburbs and was a bit of a rubble. I asked some of the people I met to see if this was the right path to the address I was looking for.
At 09:18 I finally arrived at the orphanage where I was adopted. The three-story building is brightly colored. The smell of paint was so poking in my nose. Looks like this orphanage just finished renovating. There is a playground to the right of the building. I saw that there were a lot of kids playing. Although the weather is very cold, it does not stop their joy to enjoy the game in thick clothes. I pressed the bell beside the door. I heard footsteps from inside approaching. The door was opened by an eight-year-old girl. He looked at me with his blue eyes. Long wavy unravel brown colored hair covered knitted hat. She's very pretty.
"What Mrs. Kineta is?" ask the girl.
"Silver is seriously ill," said the girl spontaneously with a flat expression.
"Ah, sorry. I mispronounced him" he immediately realized what he had just said. "Please enter first, brother. I'll call Mrs. Kinetas."
The girl let me in with a sweet smile on her face. I stepped in and took a seat in the available long chair. When the girl passed away I took out my phone and reflected on her screen. Was my face too pale until the girl could guess for sure? I put my phone in my jacket pocket when a woman approached me. I stood up, stretched out my hand while greeting. He greeted me warmly and told me to sit back. He took a seat next to me.
"Is there any need for a girl like you to take the time to come to our humble orphanage?" ask the woman friendly.
"Look... Ouch, sorry. I'm a little nervous explaining how."
"Look easy."
"So this is Mrs. Kinetas. Do you remember the baby who had congenital heart disease and had a heart transplant 15 years ago?"
"15 years ago..." Mrs. Kineta tried to remember the incident. "Oh... The baby the Morgen family adopted. Why why?"
I smile. "I am that baby."
Mrs. Keneta tewarak did not believe what he had just heard. For a long time he stared at me in silence until a pearl flowed down at the end of his eye.
"It... Su, really you? To, Keyla. Keyla, right?"
I'm nagging. Suddenly Mrs. Kineta hugged my body tightly. It was so tight I had trouble breathing.
"I don't think it's really you."
"Yes Mrs. Kineta, it's Keyla. Could you please let go of your embrace," I said a little claustrophobic.
"Sorry," Mrs. Kineta let go of her embrace. "It just doesn't feel like it's been 15 years. Even if you've only lived here for a few months, but you're still part of this place."
"That's why I came to see you. I just wanted to know who my real parents were because I just found out right now that I'm an adopted son."
