"I don't think you're coming"
The deep voice of the man who was sitting on the VIP room restaurant chair while staring at her made Renika snort annoyed.
Although in an upset mode, Renika decided to change her way of speaking to make it more formal.
"I have never broken a promise, Mr. Devin" he said, deliberately placing special emphasis on the name of the man in front.
Without Renika noticing, the corner of the man's lips lifted into a smile when he saw himself shedding emotions while cutting meat on a plate so barbarically. The emerald man's eyes showed a sense of comfort when his gaze landed on Renika's lips that snatched adorable.
With a fixed look at every move of the girl, Devin said.
"Regarding my offer yesterday..."
"You can talk about it with my agency." Renika smiled in her heart cheering triumphantly.
'Racaine!' mean it.
'Have changed the time as good as jidat, still want to get cooperation? It's delicious!' Renika did not stop grumbling in her heart.
"Today, let's talk about each other, how?"
Unfortunately, the reaction of the man before Renika was not as expected. Instead of looking angry or at least putting on a displeased face, Devin instead looked at the girl calmly.
"This was not in line with our conversation yesterday" Devin said.
"I'm here to discuss cooperation with you."
Renika raises her shoulder.
"I can't agree to an offer of cooperation without the agency's approval." A faint smile fell on the girl's face as she nodded.
'Crazy, Renika. Pinter really you act!'
"Is that so?" devin asked with a flat look. Then, the man fiddled his phone for a while making Renika frown.
'What did he do?' inner Renika, was a little offended because the man chose to be busy with his phone.
Not everyone gets a chance to eat with her, okay? Couldn't the slightest bit of that man appreciate his existence?!
Just when Renika thought about it, the tremors from inside her own bag caught the attention of the girl. He grabbed his phone and stared at his screen only to end up with enlarged eyes.
'Mom CEO?!' batin Renika felt surprised because the agency leader intervened to contact her. The girl again raised her gaze and looked at Devin, feeling bad but she had to lift her call.
"Please" said Devin with a thin smile, knowing that the girl was asking for her permission.
"Hello? Yea?" The girl's smooth forehead was wrinkled.
"But, Mom, I still have a contract..." The bead was directed at Devin, inexplicably emitting annoyance.
"I understand...."
After turning off the call, Renika threw a deadly gaze at Devin who was eating her dishes quietly. The man seemed to not care about what the girl had just discussed or at least he already knew what had happened.
Renika put her phone on the table.
"Mother Imel? Seriously?" He looked at the man with annoyance.
"It should be just between us."
The man looked at Renika and said calmly.
"You said you yourself needed your agency's approval, didn't you?"
"I invited you to dinner to thank you for forcing me into a partnership?" reply Renika, feeling Devin is very ungrateful.
Devin put down his cutlery and gulped a little wine from inside his glass. He looked at Renika while saying.
"And I accepted your invitation thinking we'd talk about cooperation, why do you keep rejecting it?"
Hearing Devin's reply, Renika felt out of words.
'Oh my goodness, handsome face, but why is his demeanor like gini?! There are no handsome guys in this world who really what?!' he grumbled as he grabbed the glass filled with red wine and sipped it quickly.
'There are only two types of guys in this world. He slammed his glass and stuck his gaze on Devin's beautiful face.
"If not insolent, yes ho-hoo! Uh....'
"Renika, are you okay?"
Devin's voice was ringing in Renika's ears. However, somehow the girl's gaze began to fade.
"I...."
Renika wanted to explain but her lips felt faint. His gaze was directed at the empty wine glass, then his brows were linked.
'What kind of wine...'
However, before Renika could even finish her inner speech, everything turned dark.
