Chapter 233

Adelio's eyes were rounded when a kiss landed on her cheek. Cia put her lips away and smilingly looked at Adelio who now looked extremely shocked with a reddened face like a boiled crab.

Adelio's lips opened as if it was so unexpected that Cia had just kissed her cheek which was now hot.

Cia smiled shyly, for some reason he was so brave as to kiss Adelio's cheek which is now still seen looking at him with a face of shock.

"What's wrong?" asked Cia who was now a little laugh while continuing to look at Adelio.

Adelio answered nothing but quickly felt her cheek which had been kissed by Cia. Is this real? Did Cia really kiss him earlier or was this just a dream?

"Cia, it was you"

"Why?" cut Cia.

Adelio was silent for a moment and then set his breath that felt tight.

"You kissed me" said Adelio.

"Are you angry?" tanya Cia made Adelio smile shyly and lowered her head. I don't know why Adelio feels if he is like a woman and Cia is the man who makes him very embarrassed.

"I was never kissed by a woman after except my mother" Adelio said.

"I've never kissed a man other than my father, either" Cia said.

Adelio turned to look at Cia who looked down. To be honest, Cia felt embarrassed after she realized that she had kissed Adelio. Cia did not know why he could be that brave without thinking about what Adelio would think of him.

Now the atmosphere of the two became awkward no longer among them spoke. There was only the sound of vehicles passing by on the highway.

"Cia," said Adelio made Cis bowed it glanced at Adelio for a moment and returned bowed while squeezing his sweaty fingers.

"What?" cia asked awkwardly.

"Em, maybe we should go back to the hospital now," Adelio said as he got up from the chair.

"Alright," replied Cia then got up and stepped closer to Adelio who had now climbed on his bike.

Cia's steps stopped and looked down at the whole school uniform that looked dirty.

"What's wrong?" ask Adelio who has now worn his helmet.

"My uniform is dirty, can we go to my house first to change my clothes?" asked Cia in her soft tone.

Adelio smiled, only this time did she hear Cia speak in a gentle and polite tone to him.

"Well, after that we go back to the hospital," Adelio said making Cia nod.

Cia and Adelio are now stepping in the hospital corridor towards the ICU room. Cia's steps swallowed as from a distance she looked at Firdha who was now standing in front of the ICU room where Devan was being treated.

"What's wrong?" asked Adelio who felt something was strange to Cia even more so when Cia saw Firdha.

"Nothing," replied Cia then again stabilized her steps towards the long chair in front of the ICU room.

Firdha who saw the arrival of Cia and Adelio now quickly got up from the chair and approached Cia who had now sat in the long chair with Adelio.

"Cia, where have you been?" ask Firdha.

Cia did not answer. Cia simply fell silent and turned her head in the other direction.

"Cia, I asked and help you answer!" Pecan Firdha with a bit of annoyance.

"General cemetery?" asked Firdha who was now staring at Cia who was not looking at her at all.

"Yes aunty" replied Adelio.

"What are you doing there, Cia?" ask Firdha and just look at Cia did not answer and put out a word to answer the question from Firdha.

"Cia, I'm asking and help you answer!" annoyed Firdha who now slightly raised her tone.

"Tante," Adelio said, making Firdha look at him.

"Maybe Cia can't answer a question from Auntie because of Cia's bad heart because her father is still critical" explained Adelio politely and gently.

"It looks like you know everything" Firdha said, smiling sinisterly before stepping up and sitting on the long chair where she was sitting.

Now the atmosphere became silent - none of the three of them spoke. Firdha couldn't have said anything to Cia that clearly wouldn't return her words.

Firdha let out a long breath after several large yawns and rubbed her sore, sleepy eyes. Every now and then Firdha looks at her phone to send a message to Madi and asks Kasya who she has now let go home first.

Cia glanced at Firdha for a moment who was yawning widely while covering her with both hands.

"It seems like you are already sleepy," said Cia made Firdha turn to look at Cia and Adelio who are now looking at her.

"What?" ask Firdha.

Cia let out a long breath and exhaled slowly.

"You seem to want to go to sleep, you can go home now. I was here with Adelio waiting for my Dad to come to his senses. You just calm down! I'll contact Mr. Madi if my father has regained consciousness" Cia said.

Firdha smiled faintly after hearing what Cia said.

"You're telling me to go home?" ask Firdha.

Cia fell silent, she did not intend to say this repeatedly.

"Huh, you told me to go home and leave you alone here, just the two of you."

Cia was silent as well as Adelio.

"Cia, I can't go home and let this man be with you all night in a quiet place like this."

Cia turned to look at Adelio who was now looking seriously at Firdha who was still busy talking in the chair.

"What are you afraid of?" ask Cia.

Hearing that question made Firdha now rise from the chair.

"Cia, not all men are good, sometimes there are men who only want something from women so he is pretentious," explained Firdha as she glanced at Adelio.

"Cia, I'm afraid that until this guy does something bad to you. If that happens then who will help you? Devan won't help you here because you're critical" Firdha explained.

Cia who heard that made her now rise from the chair and step towards Firdha whose guts seemed to shrivel seeing the look of both of Cia's eyes that looked very sharp.

"Sorry Madam, but Adelio is not like that. She is indeed someone else and has no family relationship with me but I feel safe with Adelio."

"Madam, I'm more afraid of people who recognize me as a family like you. Did you forget that my own family has hurt me and even made my Dad critical" Cia explained.

Firdha now smacked her lips and grabbed the bag from the chair and stepped away leaving Cia and Adelio.
