Father Or Boyfriend ?
Chapter 177

Looks like he already knows what Devan is doing in front of Cia's closet. Coupled with their departure makes him sure that Ceo intends to run away with Cia. This could be a problem for the parlour if they both run away and Cia has now been adopted by both wealthy parents.

"Ceoooo!!!" yelled at the woman again.

Devan did not turn his head even though the sound of the screams cheered him. The run is getting faster while continuing to hold Cia who is now laughing, this is quite exciting for the 3-year-old little boy.

Sweat now drenched Devan's body which I have now lost to run from the pursuit of the caretaker woman who never gave up chasing him. Devan was surprised by the caretaker, his body was quite fat but his running was also tight enough that Devan was able to see him when he occasionally looked back.

Devan ran on a busy road with vehicles passing by on a paved road. Before long Devan who was still bored was running to the middle of the road intending to cross last..

Devan and Cia's bodies were blown hard enough to the asphalt when a white car hit Devan and Cia's bodies.

Devan grimaced in pain at his knee that looked bloody while Cia who was knocked was also very shocked while staring at his elbow that looked bloody. Devan stared at the white car that was now opened by a man in a white suit, from his appearance he looked like a doctor.

His face looked anxious as he ran towards Devan and Cia after he closed the door of his car quickly.

The people who were around the incident hurriedly ran over and swarmed Devan and Cia.

"Are you okay ?" asked the man with a face that looked a bit panicked.

Devan did not answer he was just busy staring at the wound on his knee while Cia was now crying and running towards Devan and hugging him.

"Ceoooooo!!!" The screams of the lifeguard woman were heard while running towards the crowd.

Devan was wide-eyed then immediately hugged the body of the man in white with a trembling body. Devan was so scared.

"Sir help me! I was chased by a bad person," Ouch Devan with his pleading gaze looked at the white-clothed man.

Devan's moans were heard when his knees were given medicine by the man who had helped him. The man smiled and got up from the sofa he was sitting on.  

Devan stared into the whole room of the house so clean and tidy. Looks like this 45-year-old man is a doctor all Devan can see from the table containing a medical book not far from him. Devan who was busy paying attention to the whole house now turned to look at Cia who looked so happy in the garden part of the house. Cia ran as she chased the big, beautiful white-haired cat to and fro with a laugh.

The man who had helped her was seen stepping up and sitting back on the sofa carrying a plate filled with food and a glass of water. Devan gulped, honestly he was quite hungry plus again after the smell of fried chicken stung his nose made Devan stomach starve.

"You must be hungry, this is to eat first!" said the man while putting a plate of rice with fried chicken side dishes and sauteed kale that is so fragrant, This is quite delicious.

Devan smiled wryly, then immediately grabbed the plate and hugged it.

"Whose name are you?" ask the man.

"Ceo" Devan answered briefly as he chewed the rice he was chewing.

The man nodded in understanding and he turned his head to look at Cia who was still running there.

"If father?" ask Devan.

"What?" ask the man.

"What father's name?" ask Devan.

The man smiled, a smile that looked very warm.

"Yusuf" replied the man.

Now it is Devan's turn to nod without stopping chewing his food which is now gradually reduced from his white plate.

"This father is a doctor?" ask Devan.

The man smiled again and then nodded.

"I'm a pediatrician who works at one of the hospitals in Surabaya, oh who was chasing you?"

"Mother," Devan replied briefly.

"Your mother?"

Devan shakes.

"She's Mother's nanny at the orphanage, she gave permission to both new parents Cia to adopt Cia, I don't want Dok-" Devan stopped his speech as if confused as to what to call Joseph.

"No Doctor. Ceo may have to call the Doctor Joseph."

"Why?"

"Because Doctor Joseph was a Doctor," Devan answered making Joseph smile.

"If Cia were to be adopted by the rich old man, it would be the same as if I would never see Cia again" Devan explained.

The atmosphere now became silent making Devan look back at Joseph who was smiling looking at Cia.

"Doctor Yusuf lives alone here?"

Joseph turned to look at Devan for a moment then he breathed a heavy breath and not long after he immediately bowed as if heavy to answer a question from Devan.

"I live in this house myself."

"alone?" Devan's somewhat surprised gaze made Yusuf nod.

"Doctor Yusuf lives in this house alone?" ask Devan.

"Yes" answered Joseph.

"A house this big?"

Yusuf nodded.

"My wife died a month ago in Jakarta from illness."

"If the Doctor's Son?"

Doctor Yusuf shook his head.

"I don't have a son."

Devan nodded then immediately placed the plate on the table and gulped down the water inside the glass.

"Thank you Doctor Yusuf, I'm sorry to go home" Devan said, then immediately got up from the sofa and called Cia who was still busy playing with Joseph's cat.

"Where are you going?" ask Yusuf.

Devan was silent, Honestly he didn't know where to go this time. Devan is unlikely to return to the orphanage, Devan is afraid that if Cia will be adopted again by the mother of the orphanage, Devan is afraid of losing Cia. 

"Ceooo!!!" cia shouted and ran and hugged Devan.

"Ceo, the cat is antique, Cia vinegar," said Cia made Joseph smile to hear Cia's angry voice.

"Om, that's icing Om?" cia asked while looking at Joseph.

"Call him Doctor Joseph!" tell Devan.

"Octer Ucup?" cia asked Joseph to laugh.

Joseph now stepped toward Cia and knelt before Cia.

"Call me Doctor Yusuf, he says I'm a Doctor so call me that," Joseph said, glancing at Devan.

Joseph got up and touched Devan's shoulder.

"If you don't mind you being able to stay here, anyways I live alone in this house. You don't know where you want to live either?"

"But Doc-"

"Yeeeeeeeeee!!!" cia yelled excitedly and then immediately jumped up and down happily.

"We live here Eo?" cia asked, holding Devan's hands.

Devan glanced at the smiling Yusuf and slowly Devan nodded making Cia cheer again.

"Yeeee!!! We live in a rich olang!!!" cia shouted and laughed happily.
